Bangkok Reports

Back in my room already as it is quite dead out there tonight. Walked down Soi 4 about 8:00 PM, nothing open really except Hooters. A few FLs wearing black were standing in the dark in front of the Nana Hotel parking lot. Then I strolled over to Soi Cowboy, nothing open there except the new pizza restaurant. Crazy House was definitely closed as of 8:30 PM or so. A departing server or bartender who was walking out said, "Sorry, open Monday. You come back then, ok?"

Thermae is closed but there are lots of girls standing outside where the ladyboys usually congregate. Heard from a roving fellow punter that Soi 7 Beirgarten is open but I didn't walk by to check it out. FLs up and down Sukhumvit were present but not impressively so or any sign of an uptick in the talent due to closures elsewhere.

Hi All,

I will be in Thailand for about 5 days in early November. Wondering where to best spend the time for some are & are fun. Bangkok vs Pattaya vs Phuket. First time here in Thailand. Thanks for any advice.

Geez what question. If in BKK go to Patong or Sukhumvit. If in Phuket go to Bangla and Karon and the city. If in Pattya go anywhere. Geez. Read the forums, man. Any intel on when Thermae bar reopens would be great. I understand many of them are all standing outside now but I prefer to hang out inside. I'm scheduled to be there in a few days. If Thermae isn't open I will return straight to Pattaya.

I have a river view suite on club floor, any and all inside info on hotel would be awesome, thanks, always enjoy reading your point of view in your reports! Plus no jam up at hotel bring girls in correct? I'm also thinking about their drink only package they have for New Years in sky bar any thoughts, thanks again.

According to a BBC article I read, the morning period will go on until mid November in which the entertainment industry has been asked to "tone down".

Don't tou understamd that different giys like very different things.

Read the forum and try everything you like the sound of, then decise your preference. Don't plan too far in advance.

Patong mentioned by D Cups is in Phuket not Bangkok. Don't go to Pat Pong at all.

Thermae closed with about 20-30 girls milling in front. Did not look like the best of the crop, even though I like a girl dressed in black. No cart bars in action. Soi Cowboy totally dark. Some freelancers out, but a fraction of the usual count. Lucky for me I had my all-holes-open Viet freelancer from WeChat on her last day in town. One cannot depend on the public venues these days. Enjoy Bangkok, AsianRain.

The Nana Plaza web site said that it is open. I hope everything is open for my visit on November 7th. The web sites of some of the bars appear to say they are open.

Spending New year's eve at Lebua is so chic and memorable! Although GF, I've never seen FL in this hotel. Maybe at the SkyBar, but not obviously. Rather fortunate tourists.

Had reservations at the Ruamchitt Plaza for the first two nights, specifically for the purpose of trolling through Thermae on my first night. Now I am glad I canceled my reservation. I did take a haircut on the cancellation fee, but found airfare later in November, possibly with better departure and arrival times for less money than my original ticket. Oddly enough, I will flying in what is supposed to be the more expensive, high season as opposed to the shoulder season (now). Go figure.
