Yes and no. There were some bars open past 2:00am the other night, but not serving at that point. Still, there were some people sitting around talking, and the doors were open. Did not hang around long, so not sure what time this went on till. For the most part, most of the action around town does shut down at 2:00am though.

Look at the bright side concerning the early closings: Between 1 and 2 AM, there will be TONS of ladies hanging around the Nana car park who will go with you for LT or ST, and no bar fines. I actually consider the early bar closures to be a big advantage in terms of getting ladies who'll go Long Time for a nice price without a bar taking 300 or more off the top.

When were you last in Bangkok ? Thermae closes at 2am, not sure about the Grace as I don't go there.

I have to admit guys that I was partly wrong. When I wrote my original attack on Fresh Meat 2 I think it was, I was pissed ( that's drunk to you USA people) and I thought it was a Pattaya thread. Having said that, why Bankok should be twice the price of Pattaya still bemuses me, but that's a different arguement.
Let me tell you a story. Alice Springs in Australia is the centre of fuck all, it's acunt of a place, but one night I tried an escort service there. If you are going to be in the Nana area late in the evening and you would like to go to a bar that stays open until very late then try Sin, its location is about 100 meters down soi 4 past the Nana hotel on the same side of the road.
Its a rooftop bar with a few pool tables, normal bar prices until 1 am then the drinks double in price, when in Bkok i would usually go there around 11pm with a mate or 2 and play a bit of pool, from around 1am the place starts to fill up with freelancers, the standard of which is a couple of points higher than the Nana carpark.

I always had good luck tracking down sleazy fun at the Grace in the wee hours of the morning, including the only foursome I've ever been in. I really hope I can find some good action my first night (flight arrival 11:45PM, so I'll probably get my first beer right before 2AM closing).

As some folks have been saying, to much protest from the cheap charlie contingent, paying double you might get a good house in a good location, and THAT might actually be best.

1.) location
2.) location
3.) location
Tear away the old house and build a new one if necessary. :)
Guess when making that comparison to a house you where talking about looks rather than attitude, so it should read as "[i] Buy a shit (looking) house in a good suburb, or a good (looking) house in a shit suburb[/i]"
