I was in there last night (Saturday) and I must say the line up of about 30 girls in there was atrocious. Of the 30 or so girls there, only 1 would have rated above a 5 in my book. That was Nam, who I'd met from before the remodel. Of course, another night could mean a different line up. But last night, possibly the first Saturday night with the new look, was decidely bad imo.

I forgot to mention Jail Birdz' new seating is mostly loveseats and sofas, some barstools ringing the stages and, the worst viewing angle of all, two rows of bleacher style seating. The bleacher seats are at one narrow end of the stage arrangement, which means you will be near one stage, blocked from viewing the second stage and miles away from the shower pit. I mention it here because the first place the servers try to take you when you enter and haven't yet assessed the view advantage is to the bleacher seats. My friend and I resisted and chose our own seats among the sofas. So heads up on that.

But they will have to do something about that lineup before anyone should worry about checking out the ladies there, imo. Most I would not have taken for free. Maybe 1-2 girls tops including the one I mentioned in the earlier post, Nam.

After a busted trip to Beijing I was pretty excited to get to Bangkok. Through immigration and nonexistent customs and out the door. Just for reference I asked a taxi guy how much to my hotel. He said at least 800. Called user and it was less than 400 including the 2 tolls they charged me for.

These tourist traps seem to be about having 1 big (and confused) customer than having a volume of customers like most businesses.

Soi Cowboy can be difficult to navigate but I found success, read on. So my favorite haunt is probably Shark, but I try other places first since I know if I go there I often barfine from there. With Cowboy 2 being stupid, I mean the girls weren't even that attractive, but it appears to be full of coyotes, I decided to go to Shark. Shark was really in good shape, compared to the other gogo's. The inside looks like nothing has changed, girls are wearing their normal see-through bikinis so they're basically topless. Whereas all the other bars are rather empty, as guys don't want to see girls dancing fully wrapped it turns out. Shark looked to be doing okay, as they are never really that busy. Also, the girl to guy ratio is pretty insane. There must be like 5 girls to 1 guy in any gogo, if not more.

Since I'm a regular at Shark I just ran into one of the girls I normally chose when I see her. Her service is super good, she uses lubes for her blowjob and visually and feeling wise it's a great BJ. Many of my reports I say that I skip BJ's because they are not worth it from Thai gir's, well, this girl at Shark has lots of experience and has been working there for awhile, so definitely worth it. Honestly, when I first moved here most punters were on the same page when it came to price and performance. At least the locals were. And Cowboy was full of locals. Now there are very few expats in the GoGos because they are so expensive. And with the exception of a few places, the GoGos are hurting. But, they did it to themselves. High drink prices, high BFs, and ridiculous prices for the gals alienated the locals which was their bread and butter and in slow times they could always depend on residents. Truthfully BFs, should be no more than 500 Baht, ST 1500 maximum, and drinks not over 120 Baht. If they were serious about doing good business year round this is the pricing structure they would be looking at.

I had a laugh when the dude wrote about the gal in Baccarat who said she did not have a customer in 10 days and then wanted 2500ST. Guess she did not have a customer for 11 days. I would have offered her 1 K with a 500 Baht performance incentive. Why? Because no matter how good looking they are, that is what they are worth. The next bar I can't remember. Maybe kings castle II or the one just passed it. Won't go into much detail but it was pretty much more of the same as the last place. One worrisome lady did tell me the rates were 600 BF and 2500 for her. She said the girls on stage were 1800 BF and 3000 for the girl. This was confirmed by a passing waitress tho she crossed out 2500 and put 3000. No idea why the difference in bar fine amount. One I did like came 5 minutes before closing. Gave her the hotel to come by later. Unfortunately fell asleep and woke up hour after meeting time.

I don't like the setup and 95% of the girls.

While gogo girl prices seem to have gone up rather too strongly, the reverse problem occurs at Oilies. The prices have been stagnant so long, that the number of decent looking girls seems to have dropped right away. 10 years ago, I certainly would not have struggled so much to find a doable pretty girl in the Oilies. Now there may be some reasonable lookers, but not that easy to find, and almost no stunners. I did not find a girl I would call stunning for quite some time. Very cute yes.

I really never understand why guys would think all girls will have the same price, since there is a massive variation in how much I enjoy a girl's looks and performance, and subsequently what I would be happy to pay her for repeat. Its not just dick in any old hole for me. There are plenty of girls I don't take even for free, including real live examples (not purely hypothetical).

Even I have had free lancers as the cheapest option, I am not returning to them that much, as they just did not measure up. My Oily girls have dropped away also. Do I have any fabulous girls right now that think 1500 is fine for a ST? Maybe my top Oily girl would take it, but with tip she gets a bit more than that. She would meet me outside too, but 1500 would not be enough to be worth her while. I can get a freelancer for under 1500, but she is just a so-so option right now. No where near to top priority even though cheapest.

It greatly depends on the particular girl, what she is worth to me. I guess the better the deal, the more often I can afford to take her. Some of them are fuckable, but no more so than cheaper girls in MPs. Just comparing go go girls with girls of similar age, looks and service in MPs, they're overpricing themselves by about 1000 baht.
