Quiet hotel or apartment?
Wondering if any light sleepers here have any recommendations for a well soundproofed hotel or apartment in Pattaya? Doesn't have to be close to the action. Would actually prefer it to be away from the scene. Also wondering if I could ask to see a room before booking. Think that would've been perfectly kosher in low season / before the Chinese floodgates opened, but unsure if the surely overwhelmed workers would bother allowing me to check out the place.
Thanks for the suggestion
Kokotel was far enough from the action and didn't here too much noise when I was trying to sleep. I did hear some dogs barking a few different days around 3 am but guess that's just random.
Thanks for the suggestion. Did you think their rooms were soundproofed well? That's been the biggest difficulty for me in this process. Trying to find hotels away from the busier parts of the city, but have to rely on the testimonials and recs of veterans with boots on the ground in terms of which places are actually soundproofed well.
