At 12:30 All closed. They blame iT on new army regime. Weird because the rest of Bangkok is still alive and kicking while the rld areas dies down.

Whats weird no nudity of any kind. I have looked in NEP and Soi Cowboy.

Than its so weird. Seeing All those Guy's ogling these girls basically standing around in clothes or at best bikini or lingerie. Weird in sad way.

No fun at all. Certainly compared with Jakarta.

The best was actually angel witch. But again No nudity no sex show, but basically just sexy dance performance. Still bit. Entertaining and enjoyed the atmosphere. I was lucky got a fun girl. I gave lady drinks. And we're able to fool around. A little to flat, but sexy as hell. She was disappointed I didn't bar fine her. But lady drinks and tip should be enough.

I entered cascades for first time. You should check out their ladies toilet.

The manager was really cool and understood I was basically sightseeing and was there first time. A few were truly gorgeous. 10's. But these are pushy and when I left requested a couple hundred baht because she talked to me. Thanks to intervention manager nothing happened. But be warned these are guys and strong and act like guys when pissed.

I entered few other bars. But on ground floor a lot was empty or filled with 5/6 level girls. Ugly. Maybe I was in to late. Rainbow 1 had a huge ladyboy madame. I set in her section. Not fun at all. Sad place to be.

Across was an even sadder venue. Huge place but only 1. Stage active and totally empty.

Most fun I had was after closing time across sukhumvit road from nana in front of Arab street. Lots of girls otw home from work. Chatted them up and helped pull 3 chicks for Japanese tourists. Great idea. Just 12:30, no bar fines. And some real lookers. Still can't see anything. I didn't accept offer for 1 girl, but the Japanese took all 3 anyway. Wonder how that went.

I also visited so I cowboy. Much better atmosphere all around than nep. More a bar street feel and vibe. Also more women visitors. Baccarat was totally packed. Again not a great show or anything to see. Fun to walk around.

My biggest dissatisfaction and disappointments as trying to find a soapy massage. It just doesn't' exist anymore. I went huay Kwang area. I chose the huay kwang area near met exit. Unfortunately was bad choice. Nataree was closed due to enabling illegal prostitution according to an ex worker. Emmanuelle just had a low amount of choice. What's worse. No soapy. They call it nuru masssage now. You need to pay 400/600 baht extra for it and also tip girls extra.

What is worse. Most girls don't want to do it.

And emmanuelle the soap was finished and need week to get in new batch. At no. 1 to the right of emmanuelle they had the soap, but not all girls did nuru. Unpleasant experience because mama was basically forcing me. Basically the good looking ones don't do nuru but mama san was pushing them. Not good idea to me.

Next to nataree was a new place. I went in and papa san promised a regular soapy. He lied. In the dirty nasty dingy room. No rubber bed. Just a bath and regular bed. Felt so uncomfortable. And girl was 8 outside, but nude just a 6.

So my conclusion Sop is now:

Massage (basically they waste time rubbing you).

Than bath together where they wash you. Not really sexy and can get rough. Basically they try to clean your Willy up.

In my case tried to rub me up with body. But soapy in bath just not working.

Lastly back to bed for sex.

That's it. No soapy. It seems is lost skill / art. To much effort and hard work.

IMHO Jakarta is way better, even the soapy are better.

King Rama 9 just recently passed away and the whole country is in mourning. For some Thais, the period of mourning is 1 month, for some 100 days and if you happen to be working for the Thai government, it's 1 year. Most of the the entertainment areas are toning their activities down, so don't really expect things to get back to normal until next year. You might want to try the massage shops like Tulip, Snow White or Mango (unless you really do want to get a massage) for 2-3 pops and maybe a passable oil massage thrown in for a 2 hour session.

If you had, you would have known that nude dancing is off and venues are closing at midnight.

Will be interesting to see what happens once the official 1-month mourning period ends this week. Not expecting much change though. Most of Thailand still in an utterly depressed and sad funk. This was also confirmed by the latest Stickman Sunday edition. Apparently, it's being replaced by a pool bar. Since I have no interest in playing pool, it has lost me as a customer when I return. It always appeared to draw a good and ebullient crowd so wondering what happened?

Regular readers may remember that I frequented Bangkok Beat during the last few years in the winter months and had much success there though one had to be patient to sift the wheat from the chaff. I pulled several gems from there over the course of the winter (s), which I documented in numerous reports here. Nevertheless, the only other similar venues I am familiar with in
this area was a Hillary bar on Soi 4 that offered live music accompanied by an excessive amount of waitresses eager to push drinks and Titianium Bar on Soi 22, but here one had to deal with the pesky bar hostesses and expensive drink prices. The latter kept most FL's away from this venue.

Does anyone know any other clubs in this area offering live rock music or similar club style?

Recently, it appears that Thermae is undergoing a sort of revival but can't say I enjoyed the ambience on a few visits I made last winter.

I'm an anal guy. Love those nasty anal gapes. I haven't been to Thailand yet, but is it a good place to go looking for anal? Any recommendations of clubs with good anal girls or even girl contacts? Any tips for approaching the subject?

Snow White or Tulip is the place to start. Plenty of ass to rip there as it is their specialty. Just walk in, ask for a line up, say "FUCK ASS" and wait for the girls to put up their hands. Pick accordingly. If you want to play on the safe side for body looks, ask which girls "NO HAVE BABY". Quite a few hands will go down, but what is left should give some reasonable choice.
