I was in Cowboy tonight and I saw an attractive girl from Cowboy 2. I asked her to go home with me, but she said the price was 3,000 for her and 3,000 for the bar. I said, "how about 600 for the bar and 2,000 for you?" She took me in to talk with the mamasan who was firm on 6,000. I tried several other bars and they all said 6,000. What happened? Is this the going rate now? It seems way too high. I didn't pay the price. I would appreciate any comments on the going rate for Cowboy and Nana now.

Canyon.[/QUOTE]I was in Soi Cowboy and Nana a few months ago and a lot has changed. They tried ripping us off and quoted very high prices. Also, there have been lots of reports of SCAMS with the girls and bar managers. IMO, the best value in Bangkok are the Soapies, and freelancer spots.

Magic Table does not get much of a mention, and when it does it is usually dismissed. I was in Soi 7 last week and popped in for a drink about 5.00 pm. Started chatting with one of the girls about early closure etc and she started getting very hands on and seemed very horny. Went upstairs and had a great experience. Multiple shots and one she insisted I come in her mouth. I would definitely repeat.

Canyon.[/QUOTE]Sounds like you encountered a series of Coyote girls in those bars. But there are plenty of regular real go-go dancers working in the Soi Cowboy bars who will do ST for the rates you countered with or very close to them.

Thanks for doing the right thing in just walking away when they held firm on that riduculous 3000 + 3000 figure, UNLESS the girl was absolutely positively guarranteeing it would be for a very Long Time of delivering anything and everything your heart and body desired without hesitation, restriction or hassle along with a great big smile of appreciation before, during and after or you get a full refund. LOL. In which case 6000 baht might not be such a bad deal for a really hot Coyote.

However, I'm guessing no such assurance was made by the girl. So you were right to walk away from the scam.

But I should point out that it is located on Soi 7/1, not Soi 7. Oh, and you say you "went upstairs" with the girl? I didn't know Magic Table had VIP or ST rooms "upstairs". In fact, I didn't even know they had an "upstairs" in the place. I have only used the rooms in the back of the bar on the same level as the bar.

I'll check that out next time myself to see how those upstairs rooms compare to the ones on the bar level.

Coyote girls in Cowboy are not really an option at all in many bars. There may be exceptions like coyotes in Doll House as example are not that expensive and I assume also not in Raw hide and Tilac.

I took a Coyote girl in Billboard Nana plaza with no problems at all. Very lovey dovey girl who since moved to Jail Birdz which I am yet to visit.

I agree that the freelancer scene in BKK is most definitely superb, but I am also warm to the gogo scene. So could you expound on your statement that "they tried to rip us off"? How did they try to rip you off? Quoting high prices is not really a scam, but did they (who?) do something coercive? You're not talking about the "up-stairs Patpong" kind of rip-off, are you? And perhaps you could name the specific establishments so we can have a frame of reference. Such information is good to have out in the open, with details and specifics.

That's been my experience too. Perhaps after they close, if they re-open, it will be refurbished with a more modern interior and an updated set of ladies on offer. But I would not hold my breath.

Actually only reason that I've entered that bar was because it was located in the same Soi as my hotel.

It's not the place to visit if you are looking for stunning beauty. Average looking girls at best, late 20's to early 30's, elevated stage for dancers with only their skirts on, decent beer prices. BJ is 1000 thb and full service in VIP rooms upstairs 2000 thb. VIP rooms are just basic for their purpose. No need for barfine for ST. Girl that I took upstairs performed fantastic. I think it was labeled with number 2.

After couple of great looking girls from Cowboy and Nana that I barfined during my stay but also quite poor performances in my room later, this was very satisfying experience.

I walked in to Crazy House on Nov 4th and it was not working, closed. Walked down to Soi 22 to check out Bangkot Oily and there were only 3 Low end ladies waiting. Walked back to a massage parlor on Soi 19 and partake of a cute lady that gave good service. 2000 baht + 400 Massage. She originally asked for 3000. Soi 19 has a lot of Massage shops with a lot of hungry ladies in front. Don't pay the asking price nego until they drop.
