They usually quote 3 K negotiate and they will agree for 2.5 or even 2 K. Most of the time you have to go to their place which is almost 7-8 Kms from there. They have a lot of attitude and most of them are usually drunk with a dazed look even carrying a bottle and drinking on the road.

Don't get into arguments there with them or any locals if you see a heated discussion going on just move away as things can turn pretty ugly very quickly including the auto drivers taking out rods and some young chaps pulling out knives have seen this on two occasions lately.

I have done it myself for second time.
