The ST Hotel was called Atlas and is on the left side of Soi 7/1.

Room price was 350 Baht which is higher than for Asoke Place on Soi 21, however the room is better. People do stay there for the whole night for a moderate price.

Price of a bottle of water was 30 Baht. Wow! Bring your own water and condoms recommended. They do sell condoms and even had 54 mm size. I forget what price for that. I bring my own lube too, because I don't like sticky ones. LOL.

The really bad option for ST Hotel is Miami, as its just a bit too ancient and low standard, but if nothing else has a room left, consider it.

I got a bit behind on finishing my reports for my November trip so these are about a month behind so some of this is slightly out of date, but I thought would still be interesting to share.

Atlas may be the cheapest nearest Hotel to Thermae with room is very good standard. Nothing much to dislike about it other than they may charge too much for additional things like water. Miami is closer (but a choice of very much last resort).

Last night had a very nice time with Jane in Asoke Place and was therefore aware it charged 350 Baht also, with an extra towel surcharge for a 2nd girl (if do threesomes). Faint memory of waiting at PB and all taxis passing being occupied, and having to walk toward Soi 3 in order to get to an available taxi first. The carts selling goods are in first part of Soi 7/1 in front of Vasu and opposite Subway, and a few stalls still operate in Sukhumvit on store frontage. The next on the right is Bangkok Beat but it is closed down. Immediately after Bangkok Beat is the Aspira Hotel. It used to be Star Inn I guess but renovated. Opposite Aspira is Atlas, also renovated and World Inn is gone. After Atlas is Caribbean Food restaurant. further down Bai Fern massage. There used to be an Aussie Sports but I did not see it, perhaps further down. After Aspira is Shots bar and a couple of spots after that is Eden Club.

The Soi looks very changed.
