This might all be true but it was not my point. Posts from senior members should be visible immediately because they are not reviewed. So my guess is there's something going on when the posts of a senior member are not immediately visible.
As I understand it some members are on a review list. I know I am after myself and the scot who ran DR BJ had some unruly exchanges a while back. That was a long time ago and although I have been a good boy since apparently once on this watch list its permanent. My posts sometimes appear first time on page 2, it depends on many postings there were after yours and how long the moderator took to review. Otherwise I understand your posts are visible immediately.
There are senior members post that do not get posted right away. Because they have been bad boys arguing and name calling, their posts are subject to review before being posted.
Not true. I've never been arguing with anyone and my posts are still being reviewed by admin before appearing on the forum.
Well said. Thailand until 2010 or so was a sight to behold. I truly enjoyed that aspect of no Farang men having to struggle or fight to outdo each other, there was more than enough pussy for everyone, even the least attractive (in every aspect) among us. That was something unique and liberating in Thailand at that time, which I'm afraid might not be repeated anywhere during our lifetimes. The question on my mind was "which interesting Thai girl do I pick tonight", rather than "I hope I finally come across someone decent", or that awful western "how do I get laid, hope I get lucky".
Personally, I think those times have spoiled me to the point that I refuse to go to places where you're supposed to act, spend lavishly and try to outdo other men to get the girl, even if girls are relatively plentiful and attractive. The contempt for the "I'm a big shot and I can get any girl here" types still remains. In the old times, the answer was "sure you can, and so can the fat elderly Fritz there in the corner, if he manages to stumble back to his hotel."
Very well stated. Could not agree more. Sadly, you are correct. There will never be another place like that in our lifetimes. It is just way to much work to find something decent and there is always a compromise, either looks or performance; I won't even mention money as just about every encounter is poor value for money at present.
I just can't be bothered with those types of places and people either. Nothing brings on more of cringe then someone boasting about what they paid or what they are able to pay. And it's awful that has become part of the scene. Competing for working girls. I can't help but chuckle. It was the gals that were competing for us. And that is exactly the way it should be.

Monkeypaw Tip #1 of the Day: I just wanted to take a brief moment to do the "Monkeypaw does care" type of thing, by helping remind some folks on here, that we are now in the year 2018, with 2019 fast approaching around the corner. Yes sir, that means nobody collects beanie babies anymore, the Spice Girls are not hot, the Macarena is dead, and if you are still wearing a Members Only jacket, you might be the last member to do so. Good idea to keep updating your software, no matter how old and tired your phone is.
Monkeypaw Tip #2 of the Day: There is a difference between confidence with a hint of swagger versus egotistical mixed with arrogance. Those with confidence and swagger have proven track history and have no problem with sharing their success. Their swagger is the real deal only if they back it up. Those who are egotistical, are often hiding, self inflated, and have accomplished little that can even be proven. They too like to give advice as well. But it lacks any details and therefore lacks evidence. Pretty much it's what us Asian folks call "all talk and no wok. ".
Monkeypaw Tip #3 of the Day: I borrowed this one from Confucious who says "it's not wise to accept any "mouth watering" recipes from those who eat their own wet poo poo. " Definitely words to live by, just saying.
P.S. Just wondering if anybody can sense the change in teddy? Call it a transformation of sorts. Pathway.

Bragging versus Bragging
Now it's been explained to us. George W. Bush #43 described "swagger" It's called "walking" in Texas.
The best I have seen is either Vasu near Soi 7/1 or the top of the escalator to Asok BTS. Vasu insists on a copy of your PP. All others I have been to will accept your drivers license. The ones at the airport like everything at the airport is not fair and expensive.
RL.
Actually the best place that I know of is above Thermae, to the right of the open air restaurant, but only during daytime hours before 4 pm. They are closed Sundays. No ID required, better rates, plus an extra 1000 will get you her phone number and an appointment that evening. Or else you can just wait until the weekend late afternoons, when she works Soi 6 as well. Either way, 1000 gets you a happy birthday like it's your first one.

Some food for thought
Going by the last 2 dozen posts or so, I think its time to set up a thread called Reminiscing the Old Days. That would keep this thread as stupid as it was intended to be. Hmm?

But there is still the exchanges in the Arab quarter that are open very late, in the alley between soi 5 and the Muslim restaurants. These are the small shops that look like they are selling phone numbers, they don't advertise as money exchanges, you have to ask them at what is the rate for your currency. I've always had a little better rate in one of these shops than Vasu or super rich, and as far as I remember never been asked to produce an ID also.

Nowadays are there really girls like this in soi 6 bars?
Photo is recent. This is Lust bar. Imo 4th from the left with the silver shoes is the only nice one in that photo. I attached another photo of her. Lust has 2 pretty girls that I have yet to see their photos on the net. Still lots of overweight uglies as all soi 6 bars have. Imo the prettiest girl on soi 6 works at Lust. She was busy the other day with a Japanese guy or I would have grabbed her. It is one of the few bars on soi 6 catering the Japanese. Lots of bell ringing the other day to buy all girls in the bar a drink. I swear this is how the uglies survive.
Soi 6 talent is very high this week for soi 6. At 1000 baht there are many choices for everyone on a budget.
