Much thanks to everyone who post reports on this site. Really helped my research going in. Sharing my experiences.

Hotel: Summer Breeze.

A lot of pluses to this hotel. IMO perfect location. Half a block to hit Bangla, which makes logistics of bringing a girl back easy. Far enough away that there's no real noise issues. This street becomes the scooter parking area during nights, which means a good spot to pick up stray FLs are they end their shifts. Staff is very friendly. No joiner fees. They even rent open rooms for ST to working girls. Main gripe: Wifi is spotty.

Katherine's massage.

Went during happy hour. Quoted 2 K with no fuss. Line-up and selection was very straightforward. Room was nice and clean with shower. Service was very well done. Massage with nice transition into teasing followed by BBBJ, FS. Great attitude, although mine provider is visiting from Bangkok and is leaving in a couple of days. The place is in a weird area. The buildings are colorful but run down. If anyone knows the movie Expendables 2, it has the feel of that Soviet made mock American city run down kind of feel. Very wide roads, with minimal vehicles and people. Agree, getting a taxi to Twin Inn is a great option. I had time so I tried a shuttlebus from Patong Beach Road / Bangla intersection that cost 30 THB. Drop off at Phuket Town took 50 minutes plus another 15 minute stroll, but gave me a chance to see the area. Overall, I was impressed with Katherine's. A little out of the way from Patong.

First time in Phuket. Many thanks to those that have reported before me. Adding my experience.

Hotel: Summer Breeze. Positives: location, half a block away from Bangla, which reads as easy walking distance, but not so close that it's noisy. Even better, it's on a street that serves as the scooter parking lot during walking street hours, which means when the clubs let out, the hotel serves as a good place to people watch and / or pick-up stray FLs that are looking for last minute hook-ups. GF, no joiner fees. Staff is friendly. Negatives: no elevator, which doesn't impact me. And Wifi is at times hit or miss.

Katherine's Massage. Location is a little odd. True that telling a taxi to aim for Twin Inn is ideal, since this is just two doors down. I had time so per guidance I tried the shuttlebus from Patong to Phuket Town (30 THB), which took 50 minutes and runs every 30 minutes. Plus another 15 minute stroll to the place. It's located in an area that's a little weird. For those of you who watched the movie Expendables 2, this place reminds me of the run down Soviet made American city mock-up. Faded colorful buildings that looks like they're remnants of a past war. Wide streets, but very little traffic. Inside, the operation is top notch. Went in shortly after 4 pm and was quoted 2 K for 90 minutes no muss no fuss. Line-up and selection was straightforward. Service was fantastic, shower, massage leading into B2 B and light teasing, transitioning into BBBJ and FS. Sweet girl, but was only there for 2 weeks. Tipped 300 THB. Overall, I would repeat.

FL. I haven't had experience with LBs, so found myself suspecting all the aggressive approaches on the street. I'm starting to pick up on some of the nuances. Regardless of the girl, I would question whether she was of age, which sure leads into an opportunity to inspect her ID, but more practically, gets her to talk a bit so I can gauge the voice. Another thing I've noticed (may or may not be true). It's been / and going to be raining during my stay. It seems like the club girls are more likely to not have an umbrella, vs. The LBs which I think stay outside more are more prepared. So I've been using possession of am umbrella as a filter. Haven't tried Illuzion or Tai Pan yet. Will update.

Chang & Bangkok Residence. I tried hitting up these places after 4 am expecting some FL activity, but found both to be very sparse. The pool hall girls (with the baseball caps) seem very unfriendly and all the non baseball cap girls who are playing pool with guys. It almost seems like the girls came in with the guy from somewhere else. Any guidance on how to operate in these two pool halls would be appreciated. But otherwise, both seem weak hunting grounds.

From my research it seems like everything is located along patong beach. Was wondering what's available in phuket city on the other side?

Touts. Yeah they're everywhere. And yeah the choice of males or unattractive really don't seem to be tactically wise. But I just wave them away indicating no. Most get the hint. For those that don't and continue to talk to a moving brick wall, that's their problem.

Tai Pan. I admit I wasn't here at the right time (right around 1 am). FLs weren't out in force so I didn't stay long. From research I noted this place as a FL bar with no LDs, but that wasn't true. There are BG that run around, although admittedly they're the dancers (with short bob cut platinum blonde wigs) and are very obvious. I can see the appeal to some tourists. There's a mini dance floor with a dude who demos basic line dancing moves so it engages everyone. I didn't stay long enough for the bars to let out. Free entry.

Illuzion. A little bit of Vegas this side of the ocean. Nice energetic crowd. There's definitely a quality (and height) difference between those that stand by the entry way vs. Those that cluster around tables near the dance floor. Picked up a couple of girls and bounced over to Hollywood. Being led around isn't my preference, but I figured since I don't know the area, it was an opportunity to check the place out.

Hollywood. Tamer with a lounge-why feel. When I was there there was a live singer. The girls led me into the cordoned off area, which the deal I think was 700 THB for a tower of beer. In retrospect, that actually was a good deal when I consider most drinks at these places start at 200. For 3. 5 x that, you get a lot of beer (for me it wasn't about the alcohol, but negating the pestering for drinks) and a place to chill.

Ended up pulling a petite girl named Wan. Through hand gestures at the noisy club, agreed to 3.5 K. In retrospect, I should have heeded a previous post that said agree to ST first, then see if you want LT (although I'll have to figure out how to convey that more complicated contract within the context of a noisy club). What happened was after taking the girl back, she refused showering together, fingering, toys, blindfold, or anything beyond laying on her back. Her attempts at CBJ and CG were just enough to get me hard so she can resume the passive role. I've come to think of it as lazy sex. I wish I had a ST opt-out clause so I could get her out and go to sleep.

My learning: 1) for efficiency, hit Illuzion after 3 am and 2) agreements should be ST with option for LT.

In the 3 street section where Katherine's sits in, there's probably about 10 massage places. Pretty large operations, too, based on the building and signage. Can't speak to what kind of service they provide. I can't imagine it being much different, but I'm guessing Katherine's gets talked about more here because of the happy hour?

Other than that, I saw no tourists and virtually no English signage. Granted my walkabout only spanned the streets between the roundabout where the shuttle bus dropped off and Katherine's, which is to say the streets of Bangkok Rd, Phoon Phon Rd, and Takuapa Rd.

Chang Pool & Club and Bangkok Residence. I don't remember exactly where in my research it suggested that these two places are where FLs converge after hours, but after checking in a number of days, I don't see it. Never seen a good crowd. The few girls that are not paired aren't attractive nor do they seem to care.

Tai Pan. After 3 am the crowd does fill up a bit. Maybe it's the location or the set-up, but the FLs in Illuzion definitely have a much higher quality than Tai Pan.

Picked up a Viet girl from Illuzion for 3 K. Standard FS fare and stayed until 7 am. These girls don't seem very interested in foreplay. Just get to the FS and be done with it.

I'm currently in Patong and spent a couple of days here. And I must say that I'm severely disappointed.

In the bars, the girls are of poor quality. I've been checking most bars at Bangla but actually none caught my real interest.

The girls standing at Bangla are most likely not girls but ladyboy, which I'm not into.

I've visited most gogo bars (exotica, Suzy Wong, harem) and though it's fun to see some girls dance topless or nude, even there the quality was poor.

Now I don't want to sound arrogant but it's just my opinion. Either poor dents, full time covered in tattoos, chubby or top much cosmetic surgery.

I was hoping for more regular girls, like 20 yo, not those very experienced die-hard veterans that I see everywhere.

So if anyone has some good advice, please let me know. Or else I just have to accept that Patong doesn't offer what I look for.

P.S: also quality at massage is disappointing. It's maybe even worse. I've been walking the streets quite a few times but mostly veterans. Not my cup of tea.

My trip is finished and I did eventually find some nice girls at Tiger bar and had good fun. Nevertheless I'm still disappointed on the general quality, but these girls made up for that. All in all, you only need a few nice girls to forget all the others.

I liked Suzy Wong, though only for an hour or so. The girls are pretty.

I recently visited Phuket with my girlfriend. Travelling with her, mongering was never on my agenda. We did walk the Patong Beach road and Rat-you-thit road often. Never once was I offered sex, perhaps because of my company. Even the Bangla street peddlers gave us a fairly wide berth.

We opted for oil massages almost every day, with nothing of importance to report, except one particular incident. One afternoon, we decided to check out 'Lanna massage' on Rat-you-Thit road (Exit Bangla road and turn left, keeping to the left side of the road, about 200 300 meters away). Being with my GF, I never tried showing too much interest in 'choosing' my masseuses and usually left it to destiny. For once we were given separate curtained enclosures, with a curtain drawn between mine and her mattresses. All other places always left the curtain open between us, or took us to a room with two beds.

My masseuse was a pleasant looking petite woman, around 30 I guess. I did ask her to pay more attention to my hamstrings. Pretty soon she pulled the towel off and gave me a really good massage on the back of my thighs and my glutes. I did realise she was going much further than all other masseuses I had taken massage from and as expected, it woke up Jr.

Half way through, she asked me to flip over and was greeted by rising affections for her. With my GF just 3 feet away, separated by a thin curtain (which thankfully was fixed at the 'head' end and could have been pulled open from the feet side), I really didn't know how to react. I sure didn't want to get caught!

But she was an expert. She said something to the masseuse attending my GF in Thai and soon I could hear a conversation starting between my GF and her masseuse. (The usual, where are you from? When are you getting married? Age etc.) But this gave my masseuse the required distraction. She touched my Jr with a light hand and asked if I wanted an HJ, by using the universal sign language for it. I signaled back, saying my GF was right next to me! She pestered and I asked how much? She quoted 1500 THB. Now thanks to this forum, I knew that it was way above the going rate. Besides, I really wasn't sure if I'll enjoy the experience with my GF right next to me. So, I countered with 500 THB. She kept making counter offers, reducing by 100 THB every time, but I stuck with my initial quote of 500 THB. I perhaps really didn't want it. She agreed reluctantly, but no touching was allowed.

Anyway, the deed was done! She also offered me a body to body rub for 1000 THB (or that's what I understood from the sign language). FS was offered for 2000 THB, if I came alone (its hard to miss boom-boom when they mouth it silently).

Now, I didn't have 500 THB change and didn't want to create a scene when paying for the massage, under the watchful eyes of my GF, so I gave her 1000 THB and she slipped out to get the change. About a minute later, another woman entered the enclosure, smiled and cleaned Jr with a warm towel as if this was as common as cleaning a spilled coffee at a restaurant. I really didn't know how to react. Pretty soon my original masseuse returned and resumed the massage. The commotion wasn't lost on my GF who asked me what was going on. "Errmm. Nothing darling. I think she took a restroom break" I said. My masseuse completed the massage with some more GFE (limited to smiles) and in the end surprised my by taking my hands to her chest, allowing me a little squeeze and kissing on my lips briefly.

It's a lot of fun if you like super friendly girls and a lot of playful 'spanks' with the foam bats. I am a fairly seasoned monger in Patong (10+ years) and my best nights are always at the Devil's Playground. Not every girl in there is a stunner but a goodly number are. To the point that I have to sample them ST (DATY) - hehe. To have fun. Don't be stingy with drinks. The more you pay the more they play and these girls really know how to have fun. I'm not going to say which girls are best as beauty is in the eye of the beerholder (beholder), right?

Thanks for your reply. I did visit Suzy Wong 2, as well as all other gogo bars there. Yes it's OK but I just didn't like most of the girls. I'd expect more from it, better quality.

But we had fun, no problem.

Trying to decide again if I should try Patong for a few days. Since I am mainly a gogo guy I guess it really comes down to one question for me. Lookswise how would the top 10 Patong gogo girls compare to some of the top gogo girls in Pattaya and Bangkok. For reference, I think the hottest girls in Pattaya and Bangkok are at Baccara.

I don't remember the name of the club, but you had to go upstairs to get to it. My God, this girl (went by Kate) looked like a beautiful, dark-haired, white-skinned, Thai Jennifer Aniston. Never going to forget her! Just gorgeous. Beautiful face, flawless skin, great ass, wonderful and fun personality. Yes, Bangkok and Pattaya have a lot more choice, but for me, the jewel was found in Phuket!

There is quality girls in these from my own experience and at some place they pick their own clients. To be clear personally for me Patong has become a street with big nightclubs and with the prices going up most girls just go there late pickup a willing customer and make their bacon in 2 hours. So why I am hesitant recommending Patong since it has changed drastically but to be fair I am visiting it less frequently also.

I have limited insight in your places of reference but their is diamonds in the rough. Compared to top tier places like Goldfinger Prague and Mavericks Cape Town it's a bit sub par. If you don't try you will never know most people enjoy it and I have plenty of times with my friends.
