I decided to follow the advice of Rocketboy0 and headed off to Monrogue, Staying in Mitte close to Alexanderplatz Its quite a bit of a ride from my hotel, bahn calclated close to 40 minutes, thats half way to Hamburg with ICE! I'm sure there is a faster way but for me I take the U8 first and change to U7. It seems that U7 is really the keyspot to lot of the great studios in Berlin. Probably it would be faster to go to Alexanderplatz and then S-bahn to Savignyplatz but I wasnt quite sure how far the walk was so I went to Adenauerplatz and walked from there. Typically I took the wrong way first walking Kürfurstendamm but the opposite direction (I should have studied the Angus walk) but then realized I was taking the wrong way and turned. Ariving to Monroge I saw BEl ami beside it which looked quite empty (closed?) Entering Monrogue I was a bit surprised. I didn't realize Monrogue was a club but thought it was a regular studio with a parade as I normally know it. Instead I was taken to the bar area. Only saw a few men entering (and was alone in the bar with the barwoman). It was early in the evening so I guess the place fills up more later. I had checked the website and it seemed like a small place from there. Clubs are really not my thing though, had I been more comfortable with that I would have visited Artemis ages ago. I have seen the bar area but it has always been closed during the afternoons I have been. The Bel Ami is s club but only opens at 9pm or so. Never been.

You might try calling first Mon Rouge to see exactly when some intended is there. As you have not been yet. Royal might be the way forward. Just call first to be sure you know who is on duty and when-really worth it. If none of this works, I still think you might hold Artemis in reserve. Was there last night, very low key, maybe half normal number of men. Lots of quiet corners there, esp. I figured the bar later in the evening filled up with men and women conversing seeing the place basically is open the whole night (until 6 in the morning) So that is not the case then. Maybe there are more girls working there than featured on the site? Seing the place is nearly open 24 hours just 9-10 girls rolling seems to be a bit few.

They recently raised their prices and Bel Ami is located right next door so I am sure there is some cross over. AM[/QUOTE]Monrouge's pricing structure has changed. They are much more expensive since the merger with Bel Ami. They also have fewer girls on duty than used to be the case. What has not changed however is the basic way that they function. They have a few bedrooms in the flat and a bar area. You have the choice to go to a room and view the parade, or hang about in the bar and pick out one of the girls. This has always been how it works at Monrouge.

When I read Merkur's report it occured to me that there might have been a misunderstanding between him and the Hausmutti. Merkur. How is your German?
