Tony, don't even get me started with the Mongolian ladies. I am a hard core So. Amer lover (in their native habitat, not in HK), but last year I met a couple of Mongolian gals in Beijing, and had one of the best experiences of a lifetime. There are other listings out there as well) if a girl has passable appearance to being Japanese, then she'll be advertised as such just so she can demand a premium rate. Finding a true Japanese or Korean in HK is possible, but rare. In reality, there's no reason for true blood Japanese or Korean girls to work in HK when they can command the same rate, if not more, in their own countries. The Filipinas, Thais, Viets and Indonesians come to HK because they can get more money here than in their home countries and this makes the trip worthwhile.

That's a good question. Having lived and worked in HK for 13 years, I can give you my opinion. I have worked with, dated, and F_cked HK girls for the past 13 years so I have more then a little experience with them. In addition, I really like them more than other Asian girls in Southeast Asia.

I must be clear that I am writing about local HK girls and not Chinese girls that come to HK from other parts of Southeast Asia. I am talking about girls who were born in HK and live there. To me, that is a "local."

Generally speaking, HK girls for the most part are more educated than other girls in Asian. In addition, they have more pride about themselves. When you see HK girls on the MRT or walking on the street, they seem stuck up, most are not. Once you get to know them, they are sexy, horny, and lots of fun. The key is, they have to get to know you first.

Now that I have provided you with some background info, I will answer your question, "Local girls" who P4P, that is take sex for money, are generally different from flips, Thais, etc. For example, Thai girls will be happy to dance on stage half nude in the country they live in, but you will generally not find these types of bars in HK where LOCAL Hk girls dance half nude on the stage, why. The answer is simple, the HK girl (and the HK people) by nature are more conservative, reserved, and always think about not "losing face." These are the keys reasons why a "local" HK girl will not be in bar selling her goods.

In other words, just because the HK sells sex in a 141 behind CLOSED DOORS, most HK girls would not be willing to stand in a bar and have tons of guys know she is selling sex. Sure, from time-to-time, you will find a few local HK girls who will do it, but most will not. Also, the HK girl does not want to "lose face" for herself or her family that may live in HK. Just think, if she is in a bar selling sex and one of her friends or relatives happens to drop by and see her selling sex, she would feel like shit and her family would be know as the shit family.

As an interesting note, just think of all the outlets for sex in HK and all the HK and Chinese women who provide the service, ya, 1,000s and 1,000s of women. But when you are on the train or walking down the street, can you tell which girls are working girls, most likely no. P4P girls must eat, shop, etc., and therefore walk on the street and take the train. But you cannot tell which are the regular girls and which are the P4P. Now compare this to Thailand and in Bangkok at night when you can with easy spot the hookers by the way they dress and act. The simple point is that HK girls do not want to lose face and tell the folks she sees on the train or on the street she sells sex for money. She prefers to been seen as a regular HK girl.

Here is another interesting note. Why is the concept of 141s for the most part only in HK?? Think about it, the government has set-up a system where it is legal for a women to sell sex out of her apartment -- as long as she is the only women selling sex in that apartment and there is no pimp. Also, on the other hand, why is pimping, and selling sex from the street NOT legal in HK??

Where else in Asia do you find the 141 concept, with it's 141 ads on the internet, 141s ad in local Chinese newspapers, and 141 ads in girle magazines? In my opinion, the HK government does not to lose face to the world. They do not want to be know, like Thailand, as a sex capital. In other words, they try to keep the selling of sex behind closed doors and not in public view in HK. This is based on the HK folks conservative nature and not wanting to lose face.

Girls are priced according to rarity and what local Chinese perceive as being more classy. You will normally find Fillipinos, Thais and Indonesians at the bottom of the pricing scale and Caucasians and Japanese at the top.

Chinese also have the perception that Japanese gals are a little more cultured and there is also the Japanese AV gal / porno thing.

Agree with Undercoverh on his opinion on local HK girls.
There are 2 other classes of chinese girls that were found quite often in Wan Chai but are now quite rare. My perspective is I lived in HK 8-9 years ago but now travel occansionally for a week or two at a time.

One type of girl was an independant traveller from the mainland. I don't know how these girls were able to travel but remember there being quite a few with a small number being regular travellers. They may of had some assistance in arranging travel but I don't think it was an organised setup like the girls in Mongkok. One girl in particular was 2 weeks on two weeks off for almost a whole year. I think these girls were always at risk as I don't think their visa would allow them to work.
In the last few years I have only met a few girls in this category. I imagine the more regular ID checks etc has weeded most out.

The other girls that I had met were HKID holders. These girls were usually recent imigrants, with perhaps some family connection. They also were low in the pecking order in HK world so although they could work would only find low paid jobs. A good alt was sex worker. For some reason they (the ones I met) prefered to work in Wan Chai rather than 141. In Wan Chai they could price themselves more than Phil or Thai due to scarcity, so if going long time with a customer this would mean only one customer instead of 6 or 7 at a 141.
The economy was really bad 8-9 year ago but I still don't know why this class of girls is almost non existant now. I think there is some policy of the gov't then police enforcement and through the bar owners to move these girls out of the bars.
You would also find the better quality girls at the bars of the 5 star hotels earlier in the night (before they moved on to Wan Chai) not sure if this market exists today.

If you don't live in HK and want a GFE with a Chinese girl the options are pretty limited as the local girls need a bit of time and also prefer a HK resident even if for a ONS
