"now this isn't [b]our[/b] target demographic [meaning, 25 and under], but a lot of guys on ISG would probably be eating this up." They seem also willing to considerably lower the prices, as they offered a One Bedroom Deluxe Suite (60 sq meters) for 7500 rub taxes included (unfortunately out of my budget) which is almost half the rake rate.

Do hotels in Russia finally understood that negotiation was part of the deal, or is it a consequence of the krisis ? (or a mix of both maybe)

Yes, that is a nice hotel.

I think it's a mix of the crisis and the fact that more hotels are finally coming online. For example, the old "Gostinitsa Ukraina" just reopened after a couple years or more of remodelling. It's now the Radisson Royal, complete with its own river boats which cruise year-round. And then there's the new Renaissance on Leningradka. And there are a lot more in the works, so hopefully this is a trend which won't reverse when we eventually pull out of this economic slump.

Moscow during the summer is filled with 25 and under girls? Right? So that means if I go to Moscow in August there will still be young hot women there? Of course not all the girls leave for vacation and dacha en masse. But like the streets, the clubs are visibly less crowded during the summer. Which makes it more likely for you to pass feis kontrol, but less likely to hook up once you're inside due to lack of talent.

I have indeed been to most of the "Golden Ring" towns, including Pereslavl-Zalessky, and as I've written here before, the desperation factor and affordability is much better than in Moscow - even if they're located less than 2 hours outside. Passepartout confirmed this on a recent trip to Kaluga (about 3 hours SW of Moscow). That said, you'd better have some Russian speaking skills in this case, as English won't be as prevalent in the boonies.

But the summer doldrums will play equally across all cities including these satellites, and trying to hook up with girls [i]at dacha[/i] will prove difficult unless it's through personal contacts (for example, you're invited to a friend or colleague's dacha). It's not that the girls won't be interested... it's just frame of mind and lack of critical mass.

Pancho Villa is located on bolchaya Yakimanka, and it is a big latino club. Mainly a restaurant (where as usual the mexican food is only acceptable after few beers and tekila) but with a band playing live and huge place to dance, always crowded.

Best parties are on thursday night when all single secretaries and PA wants some fun after work.

Go there between 21.00 and 22.00 if you don't want to miss the action. Rate of scoring always depend on your personal skills but are not bad due to the crowd and due to the latin music.

Other really good club are located near Rai (rolling stone, Mao) but face control is severe. If you want to try, go early. These clubs are more for the fun and being in a place with top models. Scoring there is highly difficult, unless you are really good looking or really rich, or both.

I actually do not share the enthusiasm expressed in the forum about Coyote Ugly. Been there two or three times and found the ratio male: female not very favourable and the most flirty girl was actually one of the waitress downstairs who seemed genuinely interested. Music veeeery cheesy.

I have tried a couple of times getting into Che (with female company) and was rejected but I am still curious about it after so much good PR here. I am still in search of a night club which I like 100%.

For me the best of Moscow are not clubs but cafes. The possibility of drinking and eating at almost any time of the day in so many places it is something pretty much unique. I might have tried more than 30 of them and I think they can be good hunting places when you have the balls to "invite yourself" to another table (at the risk of course of having to pick her tab without any returns!

Yes, summers are slim pickings indeed. And not just in Moscow but in any major city in summer. Steamy, sweaty, stinky. Remember that the government cycles off people's hot water for 3 weeks at a time and some neglect to bathe at all during that period. The only good news is that the exodus means that you can use city streets to get from point A to point B again due to fewer cars. Oh, and the lack of clothing on the tanned deffki who just returned from Bali, Mavriki or Maldives.

God, how I wish we had a wiki here. Then we could have nice, easy-to-navigate and up-to-date sections for p4p and freebies and subsections for salons, tochki, strip clubs, mamba, regular clubs, etc.

I haven't been out for a while due to ridiculous amounts of work, but on my last visits, Coyote Ugly was hopping with young co-eds, and Parizhskaya Zhizn (where Doc and I ran into Passepartout by complete chance while quaffing our draft Guinnesses) was bouncing with desperate, drunk 30-somethings looking for some relief. Any relief. From their dreary single-mom, secretarial existences. That was a little too much reality show for yours truly. But unfortunately Che was even worse (at least what I remember of it). I had to call in a girl to join us at 4am, as the talent there was so bad, some of the guys were starting to look do-able in comparison.

As for HD and NF being marked "to be avoided", it really depends on your MO. If hooker bars are your thing, there are regrettably no other options. But I do end up at HD more often than I like to admit, particularly after a disappointing night out on the town.

Just a question to you guys, residents or frequent visitors: how do you manage to deal with multiple GFs (I'm not talking about club sluts or fuck buddies, but real GFs) in Moscow ?

I mean, we all know that Russian women are at 1000% involved in their relationships when they really fancy and respect you .....and that they are the most fervent, emotionally generous and enthusiastic creatures on the planet. Not even talking of their need for long, passionate and no-holds barred sex ..and their avidity for romanticism and sweet talking. So how to juggle with more than two or three such women? ....it seems really difficult, even if you are yourself a manipulating "professional" monger. Those slavs girls are simply too intelligent and too genuinely passionate to be played with. IMHO.

I have two (emotionally very involved) GFs in Moscow and really don't know, when I will be in town, how I will be able to conciliate those relationships with mongering vacations.

And what about the new girls you score in clubs? ....some (many?) could be not "just" drunk party girls or one-night-stands, but also priceless potential GFs ..so this could just add to the problem !!!

After only 5 years of mix business/pleasure trips to Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine, I am still a zillion years behind Doc and other long-time contributors to this forum, but I have managed to collect a nice number of GF and semi-GF during my trips, and I can try to give you my humble and personal view....

First of all, you are right and accurate in your description of a Russian GF, but the part that MAYBE you still don't fully understand is that, thanks to old motherland, we MEN are in charge.
YOU choose when, where and with whom you meet. Always with respect to those beautiful and intelligent girls, but I often use business dinners and gatherings with partners to have the perfect alibi...
"Yes, darling, I am free tonight... we will meet....", or simply... "no, it is impossible, I have a late dinner with partners/friends/clients and I really don't know when I will finish... probably VERY late....".
Russian girls are USED to this... Some of our russian counterparts treat them far worse than you would ever imagine... too many times preferring getting drunk with a couple of vodka bottles and 3 other old mates than their cute 22 y.o. girlfriend who is crazy to get some attention.
In general, simply don't go to the same places (bars, clubs, restaurants) with both girls, and NEVER make too much planning in advance ("yes, I will contact you later/tomorrow and I will tell you if we can meet or not"), and very promptly and very directly, discourage any attempt of staying in your flat/apartment "waiting for you to get home" (or one of my particular nightmares, to come to my apartment in the middle of the night with little or no clothes on under the coat, but without any PRIOR warning... (so, chances are that you are with some other girl(s).
My last suggestion is a little bit more complicated but VERY VERY convenient.... and for sure one of my favorites lately... Turn one of your GFs into the "dark side" of bisexuality (if she is not already!), and have HER finding new girls for you every other night... If you can get ANY of your two girls into that... (nothing SO impossible, believe me) simply drop the other girl and enjoy your time in Moscow!
I can't wait to be back! Due to this stupid crisis, I have already missed most of the late and warm spring! But the end of school is round the corner... one of my favorites weeks in Russia for hunting....

Having heard a lot about it, decided to pay a visit to The Penthouse Club yesterday evening. General impression, pleasantly surprised.

Wednesdays is some sort of expat evening with free entrance, beers at half price plus other promotions. The normal entry is R,1,000.

Impressive entrance with an escalator that takes you up to the 2nd floor. Hostesses not so special but once inside you are surrounded by naked women. There is a large bar (barmaids topless) and many seating options around the dance floor. The format is similar to Aurora, girls dance, strip and then approach for lap dances. Lap dances are R.100(the spirit of Safari Lodges continues!) and private dances are available at R.1000

The choice of girls is impressive and even the waitresses strip. So much naked flesh in such a small area including 2 most sensuous black girls.

Did not imbibe yesterday but evidently on the ground floor there is a ‘hotel’ where you can rent rooms for R.3,000, girls cost R.7,000

Very much a P4P but classy and relaxed. Maybe we should arrange an ISG Moscow summit here in the next days? PM me if interested.
