As far as paying pesos for contact information, I don't have to do that (and won't anyway). Using the Twitter contacts provided by LovesToSploog (thanks, man) I've got a list of 20 WGs and 2 esteticas full of WGs that offer pay for play. I can't wait to get down there and have some relaxation from the daily onslaught of work, yard work, and COVID garbage each day.

The source will direct message you a debit card number typed or photo. Take that to an Oxxo or 7-11 and tell them you want x pesos deposited into the 16 digit card. Cash only no tarjeta. 150 pesos plus a 9 peso fee and 159 pesos later, got a printed deposit receipt. Snap a photo holding the transfer receipt and send the pic as a direct message.

Also doing this same method for non monger custom made Halloween decorations with a tailor in Reynosa. (We'll see how this pans out).

So far Matehuala is still closed (boo) and shocker for me, Masajes Deseos is gone gone. Doors Windows rolled shut, neon signs yanked out. They weren't the greatest, but they weren't too far out of direction to peek inside real quick just to see what's on tap. Had a few xp in there.

I had been staying in Airbnbs. Last week I stayed at NH Hotel, I had not been there in over a year. What a difference, the bar is now closed, but hopefully is opening back up soon. Restaurant is only open for breakfast. They are very strict about Covid. There were 2 entrance before, but now one is closed. Still a good option, but be aware. Good news you can get rooms very cheap now.

We went to the Casinio Saturday night, very casual, not strict at all. Played 3 hours on Balckjback, won a little money. The girl I was with decided to she wanted to go to a Swingers Bar after, fun experience. I will write in my next report.

Even lived there full time for 8 years. Now STUCK here in US and trying to make a plan. I understand that I can arrive Mexico by air. Good to see that there might be an option. Although the newest COVID "stoplight" map has Nuevo Leon painted as orange, the article specifically mentions that it's in danger of regressing to red due to increasing COVID cases:

You can still work around the rules, but you need to be much more careful. Restaurant will close again.

If MTY goes into Lockdown I would wait unless you already have been here. There will be too many challenges and obstacles.

I use verizon and I have been there before, it works well if you are in the city.

By my calculation, Mexico's COVID stoplight map is next scheduled to be updated on November 9. That's a few days before I'm supposed to leave for Monterrey, so if Nuevo Leon gets the "red stoplight," I'll have enough time to cancel my hotel reservation without penalty.
