I stay in depok for a certain time, did someone have information on prostitution situation in this place close to jakarta? I try to ask taksi driver and all, but they did not understand.

Can anyone give me directions to D's Place, in PM or here?
Or can I expect the taxi drivers to know where it is?

go and visit all bars on Jalan Palatehan, my fave is My Bar next door to D's place...

People often are a bit surprised when taxi drivers don't know where Kartika or Berlians or Top Gun or something like that is. Don't be. Except for the crew of drivers who lurk around the doors at three in the morning - and these should be avoided - practically no driver will know where specific venues are.

They MIGHT know where Stadium is.

You would probably get by if you said "Jalan Pelatehan, Blok M" - so long as the driver could understand the way you pronounced it.

I haven't been there lately but I imagine they are getting quite aggressive in the lead up to Ramadan. Better to get the cash before things quiet down.

Depok is a long way from any of the locations described in here. However as my friend says, if you ask around (hotels, bars etc) someone will definitely get a girl for you. Just ask for "girl or wanita or gadis cantik", they'll get the message. Of course they will want paying directly or indirectly - but not upfront I suggest.

Blok M is open but will be closed on a few key nights starting this weekend I think. Aside from that the Bars are supposed to close at 1.30 am.
Melawai ( 6th) closes but some of the girls work a couple of Hotel Rooms there. If you are stuck ask the security guy or bellhop.
