Quality of Wifi, do the staff always ask for guest's ID, are the room soundproof (Buakhao is very noisy), quality of the swimming pool?

Spent 10 days in Pattaya, stayed at LK Metropole on Soi Diana.

LK Metropole: Nice hotel in the middle of Soi LK Metro. I had a two room deluxe with separate living and bedroom; nice bathroom with both a tub and a walk-in shower, $52 US per night. It had a nice big balcony which could be accessed from either room with a nice city view from the 7th floor.

LK Metro: Probably the most bars per square foot other than Soi 6. Actually found the fo-gos to be full and with pretty attractive girls. Kink is as raunchy a go-go as there is in Pattaya. You can pretty much eat one of the girls on stage, if that's your thing. Billabong, one of my favorites over the years was a bit disappointing as far as the women.

Soi 6: Very busy during the night, not sure why some of the bars have so many girls, but hey. I find Soi 6 a bit too maddening as the girls will surround you and seek out drinks. Still, always a fun place to sit and people watch.

Soi Pothole: This Soi was out go to in September last year, but was disappointing this visit. The street has been recently paved, but it won't last long as new potholes are already forming. The quality of girls on this Soi is very lacking, at least was for me.

Tree Town: Only walked through a couple times. I find the are too bright for my liking. Only one night was it what I would call crowded. Many pass through, some bars were completely empty with only 5 or 6 girls working. Most of the girls are a bit dated and heavy here.

Soi Made in Thailand: Spent a couple nights on the Soi playing pool with the ladies. It's hit or miss with the ladies; some nice looking 30 something year olds.

Walking Street: Was a bit crowded with the usual gawkers. Hit 3 or 4 go-gos. As previously reported, they were all crowded for seating and had a great number of girls as well. Windmill was our favorite as you can get " hands-on" with the girls as they give you a lap dance and enjoy the drink you just bought them. The girls here aren't as hot as you'll find in Bacarra or Pin-ups; sleezy looking would best describe them.

Soi Diana: These open air bars used to be our favorite. They a marginal at best nowadays, but friendly bars to sit at before you move on.

Airport Transfer: We have been using "Nam's Taxi Service" for several years now; 1200 baht for round trip in a nice comfortable Toyota Camry with water provided. This is an all female run company with prompt transportation.

Pattaya seems crowded during Songkran, but the bars are often empty. Customers are out in the streets playing with water. The ladies are playing with water, too.

Bolt taxis are rare, as drivers are off in Isaan for the holiday. That means if I want to travel in Pattaya, baht buses are my only option. So, I arrive at my destination soaking wet.

My plan is to stay inside and just have ladies come to my condo. But many ladies are too busy with water fighting to think about business.

After Songkran, many ladies will be desperate for cash, so I will be busy.
