Thanks for the answers on telephone service. Unfortunately where I live the only viable service is US Cellular so I'm out of luck on that topic. Maybe I CAN get a local sim.
Sent a girl backing for the first time in awhile. She wa good 30-40 pounds heavier then her pictures. Normally I am respectful, but a girl referred her to me. I was pissed. Said Hello, then walked off.
Have to the good with the bad.
What's good everybody! I'm arriving to mty 11 de Nov. Excited! I decided to stay in the centro by the macroplaza so I'll give a report on it. I've got a handful of chicas lined up from sa and will also source off regios, lucesazules and twitter. I struck out on sa my last attempt in gdl so will see how this goes. I'm hopefull covid doesn't fak me up at #!
At drama, did it ever cross your mind to let the chubby girl mount you then let her know she's quite a bit heavier than what you were expecting? Coulda made for an exciting shag, LMAO!
Get a T-Mobile Sim Card. It's free Data and Text in over 100 countries including Mexico and Thailand. You can also add overseas phone / talk for additional fee which can be for just one month. Also, in countries like the PRC, you can get blocked websites without a VPN. Worth every penny.
As you can see from my handle I have been all about Thailand. Even lived there full time for 8 years. Now STUCK here in US and trying to make a plan. I understand that I can arrive Mexico by air. Good to see that there might be an option. Mind if I ask how you manage phone service? I am used to getting a local sim in my Asian travels. Is that what you do? I'll keep reading here. Keep it coming.

Partial shutdown is back on in MTY. Restaurants need to close at 10 and they stop serving alcohol at 9 pm. We will see what happens.
Dam and I arrive tomorrow at midnight.
It could be worse. At least they did not completely shutdown. Will you be there over the weekend.
Conick2000,
I hope it's not too bad. Let us know. Thanks.

As DramaFree11 alluded to a few days ago, a worsening COVID situation has resulted in changes in Nuevo Leon and, more specifically, Monterrey. Here is a link that I posted in this forum on October 26, which is the same day the following article was published online:
https://mexiconewsdaily.com/news/coronavirus/nuevo-leon-rejects-its-orange-virus-ranking/
Using Google, I searched for "Nuevo Leon COVID Restricciones. " When the results popped up, I clicked on the "News" tab and found a whole bunch of current information. If you're using the Google Chrome browser, the articles automatically translate into English.
This article mentions that anyone on the streets of Monterrey without a face mask will be arrested and fined. The edict applies to both locals and foreigners:
https://www.proceso.com.mx/nacional/estados/2020/10/29/nuevas-medidas-anti-covid-19-en-nl-multas-arrestos-restricciones-251805.html
This article verifies what DramaFree11 said, that restaurants must close by 10 pm, with shopping centers, museums, cinemas, and casinos also having to close at that time. Maximum capacity in those establishments must be reduced from 50 percent to 30 percent:
https://www.milenio.com/ciencia-y-salud/sociedad/coronavirus-volveran-reducir-aforo-restaurantes-leon
This article mentions that Durango has now joined Chihuahua in returning to the COVID "red stoplight. " Nuevo Leon is specifically mentioned early in the article:
https://www.xataka.com.mx/medicina-y-salud/durango-vuelve-a-semaforo-rojo-covid-mexico-van-dos-estados-estas-nuevas-actividades-restringidas
This article mentions that Mexico City may slip back into the COVID "red stoplight" and that the "stoplight map" will be updated this Friday November 6:
https://www.xataka.com.mx/medicina-y-salud/habra-nuevo-cierre-actividades-cdmx-para-9-noviembre-no-bajan-casos-covid
Previously in this forum, I said:
I honestly think my chances of visiting Monterrey in a couple of weeks are now 1 in 10.
Well, I'm actually now rethinking that comment. If Nuevo Leon does indeed slip into the "red stoplight" November 6 and restrictions are tightened beginning November 9, I'm okay with getting food from restaurants as takeaway only (no dine-in service). And I honestly don't think that the spas (which probably operate under the radar anyway) are going to close nor will the Twitter WGs suddenly stop offering services. Why would they, when people in Monterrey are still partying on the downlow:
https://www.unotv.com/estados/nuevo-leon/nuevo-leon-organizan-fiesta-masiva-con-djs-en-plena-pandemia/
At this point, my biggest concern is my hotel. If Monterrey regresses from the "orange" to the "red" stoplight and hotels are forced to reduce capacity, I'm worried about my hotel reservation being canceled. I actually sent my hotel an e-mail a few days ago expressing this concern and have heard nothing back.
So what do you guys think? At this point, I'm desperate to get on an airplane and fly to a country that isn't mine and sleep in a bed that isn't mine just to have a change of pace. I honestly believe that I can pull off this trip since, again, the spas probably won't close and the Twitter WGs aren't going to stop riding cock. Hell, this is probably THE time to visit Monterrey since some of those premiere Twitter WGs are actually attainable with greater ease due to less customers.
Thoughts, guys?

NH hotel is strict, but you can take a girl up in the morning and evening, just be discreet. I am on my way this weekend. I am only familiar with NH and the Condo I stay in. Girls need money and I am sensing they are becoming more desperate. Also, they are getting sick of all the restrictions.
Flying is not an issue, easier then driving at the moment, but everything can change.
"Thoughts, guys?" at Quagmire1974: I don't really get why rush into a place at the worst time possible when you can't enjoy the atmosphere etc? Rio has opened beaches and discos etc, - just an example. Mexico in on my radar however I am going to wait until things clear; there is no way I wear any mask anywhere.

Even with the restrictions Mexico is way better the Rio. I am not sure about the other cities in Brazil, but Rio was a major let down, in all aspects.
