I've discovered a new benefit of walking around town / getting a drink / playing pool while on an LT- it's much easier to leisurely scope ladies at various locations. Usually even the smallest eye contact is an invitation to be tractor beamed into a conversation with a lady that you quickly determine you are not interested in and so one puts on blinders as a defense. On an LT, you receive little such pressure (although they still do try), and so it's much easier to gather good information about the talent in any given location. Just try to be discrete so your current lady does not notice.

Commission is $2 per drink equals $28. One off is OK but I doubt this is the norm.

The big problem for the moment (for me at least), was to find some reasonnably good looking girls (early 20's, slim) at a reasonnable price (1 K for her plus 1 or 2 drinks plus the room fee, which makes it roughly around 1900 baht). If you look all around town you'll not find much good looking girls (I didn't go to the Pratamnak GCs, didn't go to soi Bongkot, but Bongkot was shit during my last trip, I don't think they improved their girls).

So I had to go to soi6 every time (I've been here for 1 month and every girl I've fucked was from soi6 except one from Buakhao). I coudn't find anything that I would want to fuck outside of soi6, the GC's around Buakhao are not appealling at all and I don't even consider ThaiFriendly anymore.

In soi6 most of the pretty girls are working in the Nightwish bars which give them a decent salary (when they are able to get a lot of ladydrinks), so most will not go with customers or will charge higher fees. This doesn't mean all their girls are drink only, I fucked many girls from their bars at the price I wanted but they were not the prettiest of the bar (to be fair, they got so many girls in each of their bar that you probably can find what you want there). The fact that I had to go back in the exact same street each time was the thing that annoyed me the most (keep in mind that sometimes you go there and don't find anything too), because you start to be recognised in each bars you've been to before, and when you want to meet a new girl, it gets a bit more complicated.

Last Wednesday the Immigration Police parked their van and two bikes at Victoria inn and interrogated a black patron at poison bar. The interrogation went on for like 40 minutes as Cops walked in and out of the bar. Then they left him and walked around a little.

For the last three days Hooters on the beach road has been closed with a message " under construction" without a reopening date.

Last night at 10 PM on Beach Road near the police station next to Hilton. The police set up a sobriety checkpoint with one lane cordoned off. And they were pulling random drivers for checks. So much to the assumption that traffic cops leave after 5 PM.

Tomorrow Saturday is a festival holiday and no alcohol and clubs.

In the windmill street a new Coke gogo opened next to coco gogo.

Bliss gogo reopened.

Signs of low season evident in the walking street foot traffic. Soy seven and 8 are not looking good.

I've heard about the place years back the location is fine if you don't need to be right in the action and want it a bit quiet. It isn't far from the end of Soi Baukhao, which is just a short walk that can catch a songthaew down Bauakhao. The friendship market is within reach so is Tukcom where there is Big Mac, and Starbucks if that is your thing. W. S. Isn't far either even my age is walkable.

Personally, when I visited the lady owner or manager sitting with a young farang outside eating and drinking wasn't too friendly with me just asking how much for a month's stay. Both had the look of stupid written all over them maybe because they thought I was Thai or something just reply full.

Another place I checked out for the same friend is called Chitra Place, it is down 3rd road, close to Pattaya Klang set in from a small Soi, I thought for the price and location it was a better value room in front where large with a balcony bottom level walk out to the small pool. The one staff was friendly I believe the price for a month was 9,000 and the back area rooms were 7500, within walking distance to Big see. Extra, Soi Buakhao.

Spent a lot of time looking at everything Pattaya on youtube and his recommendations for action seems to be, quite frankly, gents clubs over the gogo-bars and usual tourist locations, for the people who have been here recently, what's your thoughts?
