My very humble opinion (although based on extensive worldwide research for the past 15 years) is that Moscow is not too different compared to any major capital in terms of accessibility for the top end of the female stock (the top model types). There are lots of local guys with plenty of cash who easily can beat you in the same way that an investment banker would do in London or a rich daddy's boy in Munich. Let's also bear in mind many beauties already fleed the country to either marry or work as escorts.

What I believe Moscow has a lot to offer is an abundant amount of well educated, eager to please, intelligent, very decent looking girls on their mid twenties who need to compete for a relatively reduced amount a local guys. You often find on the street two or even three girls walking with her female friend and her boyfriend because they have no one decent to go out with and are not willing to lower their standards (yet). I have discussed this many times with girls and they confess it is indeed sadly (for them) the case. These girls do not necessarily would shag the first night, many of them would not even go out often to night clubs, but they are all over of the place unlike in our western countries.

I also believe behavioural differences are slowly but surely beeing reduced with their western counterparts (less so in the provices since they have less opportunity to travel abroad and meet foreigners) but even assuming the breed born today will socially mutate for thew worst, there is still a considerable "uncontaminated" pool left.

I mean it doesn't fit my taste. There are clubs with crowds on those days (notably Che and Papa's) but the male:female ratio sucks, and maybe the environment and/or service as well. In general, I want a club with:
a) decent prices (cover and drinks)
b) decent male to decent female ratio (which can be quite different from raw male:female ratio, as you're evaluating how much real competition you'll have in the club for the good looking girls there)
c) decent service (from friendly face control to punctual wait staff)
d) decent music (I'm flexible and enjoy good house, hiphop and retro if the mood fits, but appreciate a talented DJ who can judge the collective mood of the crowd and compensate)

By those criteria, there's virtually nothing worth visiting Sun-Weds. Sad... but true. If someone has a counter-example, by all means let me know and I'll meet you there this week!

I am not sure about this address, I have to found out, BUT:

- quite a big club crowded only on Saturdays night
- SSSR ambiance, all retro, typically russian
- restaurant of course, with only the typical russian food
- ration male - female is excellent, i consider the competition as weak
- target: desesperate 30's women who wants to get (good) sex

not a place to catch top models, but still we are in russia and there was so many doable girls (i was with my girlfriend that night).

Ambiance is crazy with typical old russian pop songs that makes the crowd becomes crazy, some latin, some rock and roll, some slows... all that you need to catch what you want...

The only minus: this club doesn't accept people without member card. It meqns 2 things:

- you may have problem to enter, even if they are more or less expat friendly (russians without member card has not chance to get in)
- there is a lot of regular, so this is a place to go once a month...as it is good only on saturday then it is more than enough

[/QUOTE] Yes, excellent place for all those reasons. Was there several times last fall with expat friends who are members. Place REALLY gets hopping Saturday night and you are correct the male / female ratio is most favorable. Not many runway models but lots and lots of "girls next door".

I call it "wedding atmosphere". I saw lots of tables that had 3 guys and 7 girls. It was like three couples got a table and each couple invited a single girl along. Lots of single girls just itching to dance. But it's not a pick up bar atmosphere. Very homey and friendly and not too dark.

I strongly recommend that anyone who has friends that are members give it a try on the weekend. Loads of fun, good prices, good food, cute chicks.
