They ring up the hotel and talk to you just to confirm that someone is not playing games with her. The other half of the time, they only want to confirm your location so they don't waste time travelling for nothing. Whenever I make a plan with a we chat girl, I always insist to meet up in a bar, restaurant, or shopping mall. Then we go back to my room together. If the lady refuses this, then I know it is a scam.
