ST or LT
As I know, if take out lady from Tulip during weekdays is 3000 b / day or weekend is 5000 b to the shop. On top of that, depend how much extra the lady want to compensate her lost if not working.
Are those rates for ST or LT? And I suppose its for within BKK. What about out of BKK?
-
Maybe the girl already included the barfine in her price. Still high but not the worse if that's the case. Barfines can always be avoided if you go with the girl on their days off.
Are those rates for ST or LT? And I suppose its for within BKK. What about out of BKK?
The rate is for 1 day, if the lady not showing for work, she need to pay shop that amount / day.
I never looked for it, but I never ran into a Thai girl that offered 200 peso quickies like the alley girls in Tijuana ($11 or 400 baht).
It exists in the alleys of Chinatown and Khlong Lot. 200-600 baht quickies are the norm in that market segment. It's sketchy and awful of course, especially the under 500 baht ones, but not dangerous in terms of personal safety (STDs are a different matter).
Do you pay before or after service? Got poor experience at Tijuana here, some girls got poor manner once they got money.
It has bee repeated ad nauseam on this thread (and others). DO NOT pay before the service. And pay the full agreed amount only if you have got ticks on all the items you asked for. And tip well if the service was good.
And please do not give me a philosophical answer of it is what it is worth.
This might a philosophical response depending on how you view it, but frankly how does it matter? No matter what advice you get from board members on daily rates for a Tulip girl, what really matters is the price point your girl agrees to. The rest is simply noise.
That said 10 K a day sounds preposterous.
SNIP
That said 10 K a day sounds preposterous.
Agreed. I have concluded that when I hear prices like that they really do not want to go with me. Not that he asked but this also ties into the recent discussion about the pros and cons of a multi-day adventure. There are so many opportunities all over Thailand that my own choice would be to just go find what I want when I get there. But that's just me. I don't even want LT any more since it has all changed so much.

Thanks!

Yea.
As I know, if take out lady from Tulip during weekdays is 3000 b / day or weekend is 5000 b to the shop. On top of that, depend how much extra the lady want to compensate her lost if not working.
It is probable that this money paid to Tulip in part of the 10 K, in which case her charge may not be so over the top.
Anyway, as Blanqui say, it purely depends on the particular girl and her situation, how much she needs to make. If it's too high for you, don't take her. It's unfortunate that so much money goes to the shop, but that is how it is.
She probably has bills to pay so she can't afford to loose money.
Around 2008 or so I took a Tulip girl away on holiday similar to Kho Samui, and had a great time. I paid the money for Tulip and for her separately or maybe she handled both amounts. Her fee was "up to you" but she trusted I would pay her properly having known me a long time, I am sure. So I tried to estimate how much she would make per day normally. Wasn't easy. Of course she had a good time too, so that was a factor in her accepting. Far less sex work than normal for her. Dining on great seafood, coral and tropical fish snorkelling etc., seeing the beautiful natural scenery things.

Walking
Have the girls that you barfined walked back to the citadines or did you have to use a taxi?
In my experience it is like this; if the girl can see the hotel from her bar (or around the corner) she is willing to walk. If not. You have to go for.
A taxi or a bike. Thai people in general are lazy to walk. I once took a bar girl for visit to Europe (Scandinavia) and one of the biggest cultural.
Differences she noticed was that Europeans like to walk. Thai people try to avoid it. I guess the climate is a major reason. But bargirls often wear high heals.
And they are not suitable for long walks. Never had any problems with taxi; they are air conditioned, cheap and plentiful. A great service in Bangkok.
So people should not worry, just ask them to go by the meter. If they refuse, take the next taxi until you find someone that will.
If you never liked Pattaya, I agree that it's better to stay away. But, to say that Pattaya can be a hit or a miss, is a bit of a stretch. For me, Pattaya is like shooting fish in a barrell.
Yes fine, however some people inexplicably don't like fish, or certainly not shooting them in a barrel (boring). By hit and miss, he means whether Pattaya as a whole is going to appeal to the guy, which surely depends on what the guy is looking for. I have certainly heard of guys who went to Pattaya and did not find anything impressive. Could be they had a very negative attitude to start with, who knows?
Have the girls that you barfined walked back to the citadines or did you have to use a taxi?
Maybe you ask a rhetorical question, I am not sure.
From Cowboy, some girls would be prepared to walk to Citadines 23 (4 minutes walk), others are scared of the dark Soi 23. I would not ask a girl to walk it. I offer them a taxi and they can refuse it (suggest walking) if they want. I am thinking of Admiral Premier which is a similar distance or very slightly further (5 minutes walk maybe). The taxi will cost the minimum which is 40 Baht because it's so close, and most drivers are happy to make 40 Baht in less than 5 minutes work.
Many times I was taking two girls from Suzi Wong, to Admiral Premier in a taxi, sometimes even 3, to make the taxi full. Only 400 metres to get there and no traffic.
A vast difference from taking a girl from Nana Plaza to Citadines 8, which would very inconvenient indeed, even by taxi. He would have to walk the girl at least to Soi 3/1 or Soi 5 before catching a taxi, and even then it can't go direct.
So it's easy to see why you stay so close to Nana Plaza to avoid need for taxis altogether.
I prefer to stay in Hotels on the East side of Asoke / Ratchadaphisek, or North side of Sukumvit, mostly, to make things easier for me. Of course I visit Nana Plaza infrequently.

Hit and miss

They are just different. Both offer the punter a chance to punt and if lucky win big. I have been in both places many times and find them variable depending on nights and some days. Some times you strike gold and sometimes nothing really grabs your attention. That said, given what we have to put up with in our home countries I would take less in BKK and Pattaya anytime.
The mongering tour is fun just because it provides us with the chance that we may strike gold and even if we did not just the adventure is sometimes enough to make it all worthwhile. Whether it is easy or hard to "shoot fish" is not the point. It is about the chance to take aim and pull the trigger in the first place!

For me, Pattaya is like shooting fish in a barrell.
Oh, I would go even further than Citizen and count Pattaya for me as a likely "miss" and only rarely a "hit".
I was just there a few days ago and, on looks alone I am not sure I saw more than 10 girls out of hundreds hanging around the Soi 6 bars and in and out of the Walking Street bars that would rate higher than a Bangkok bargirl "7". And every one of them looked utterly bored as though they were over pampered princesses.
On the service performance level, my 4 most recent trips there on the hunt resulted in zero experiences I would walk across Sukhumvit Road and pay as little as 500 baht for much less travel 2-3 hours out of Bangkok to endure.
The only two trips to Paytaya over the past 5 years where I had great sex with lovely young ladies were the two times I went there with girls I originally met and got to know in Bangkok, as was the case a few days ago.
I used to much prefer Pattaya over Bangkok. That was 20-25 years ago. But I only bother to go there now when a friend wants me to go with them.
