On the other hand, online booking is much more convenient, cheaper, and you're getting access to ladies that you would never find in any of the brick and mortar establishments outside of the high end gentlemen's clubs. For me the video does the trick and I've yet to be disappointed with someone's looks. And that's it really.

The cocktail scene has introduced a new level of refined drinking which does cost more than the typical Sangsom and coke but the pricing is more of a result of inflation due to trendiness than the price of rent.

As far as the condominiums go, they are seen as long term investments by not only the locals but foreigners as well. Of course, the 2008 housing bubble partly happened because of this type of real estate prospecting so the chance that we see a repeat of at least that aspect of it is possible. What it is happening is that the locals are buying them up, furnishing them with cookie cutter, cheap IKEA products and renting them out with the only goal being to cover the mortgage for now and then sell at a profit in a few years.

And I would contend that just like the P4 P scene the newer trendier restaurants offer very little value for money. Some of the older more established fine dining places are still ok. And cocktail pours tend to be quite stingy, and FFS some are priced more than you would pay in NYC. And there for 14 USD you get a drink that gives you a buzz.

Internet can be great. Also, if you have a bit of game, dating apps like Badoo for finding "regular" and semi pros can be very useful. I takes a bit more time but if I lived in BKK I think I could really rake them in.

In the past I have complained about the internet scene because girls fotos have not been representative. The girls now have a host of technologies available to them to easily enhance their fotos. We're talking apples and oranges here.

Internet apps are great for [I]dating[/I], the relatively lengthy process of sifting through profiles, doing the chats and setting up meetings, with the ultimate goal of getting laid. Whether you need to or want to pay to achieve better results is not a key issue, spending the time and hassle is.

Traditional mongering, for me at least, is all about convenience and choice. I look, preferably in a place with plenty of choice, the girls proposition me, I pick and choose. If you're around Suhkumvit all the way from Soi 1 to Soi 101, all you have to do is go on the app and there will typically be several ladies on their offering services, most use 'massage' as the signified but some come right out and say what they offer next to their name and pic. They have to be within a certain distance of your location, usually a max of 1000 meters but it can be a little more or less due to GPS inaccuracies. They put things like "call girl" or "freelancer" in their profile. The only thing they will do is make sure you are aware this is P4 P, and make sure you come up with an agreed upon price at minimum. That and a Hello, is really all that is needed. However, it can be a hassle to have to get to their place or for them to get (and find) to your place in Bangkok traffic. And there is a chance of flaky girls who stop responding after you show up I suppose, since there is no manager to report them to.
