[/QUOTE]A tough one. Girls have been burned before by guys failing to pay the agreed amount, certain countries possibly have worse reputation. Guys have been burned by girls failing to deliver what they are supposed to after getting the money already.

I have met bar girls admitting to having done a runner when an opportunity arose (but not with me).

I always start with ST till an element of trust develops. However I have never paid a girl in advance at my Hotel. I don't take LTs with unknown girls. They can turn into a dick scared star fish very rapidly.

It pays to monger in a place where you have developed a good reputation, such as bars.

I've had girls ask me to pay before but they have always agreed to pay later after I politely refused and reassured them I'd pay. The last one was amazing GFE and I extended our encounter to LT.

I'v e heard that some mongers have dealt with this situation by taking out the money and putting it on the nightstand in full view and telling her she will get it later. But I've never tried that.

I am inclined to think that if she does not relent to be paid later that she really doesn't want to be there anyway. SO I think you probably did the right thing.

They come from really poor places, you cannot possibly get a bad hotel for their tastes. You should see the houses they live in!

The gogos in Bangkok are kind of expensive really, massage shops offer best value easily. But you have to walk more in the daytime.

And very close to thermae and somewhat close to Soi 11 (well climax is closed now but levels is still down the road further).

Seniors any pointers.[/QUOTE]3000-3500 LT is a fairly standard median price in BKK for bar FLers so if she was a true hottie than that's actually a good price. So as far as pointers, I suggest you get a better handle on the going rates because in this case, scoffing at the price (+ 'people of your skin') probably made her feel like you were going to stiff her on the rate which is why she demanded payment up front. If you want to go the whole 'pay purely based on performance' with FLers you better off just avoiding the discussion of money all together and act dumb after the fact. You will open yourself up to a potentially irate lady and drama that may not be worth the experience but if your only goal is to get off with a hot women and not pay her going rate than that's a risk you'll have to take.

I know you are right about the quality of the hotels vs. The girls' expectations. These girls aren't going to complain. But I just wonder if I am missing much by booking a hostel instead of a hotel (some of the hostels in Bangkok look pretty cosy and cheap). But your advice about expensive go-go's sort of pushes me towards just going with a nicer hostel. Unless the go-go experience is a lot better, I might try my luck with just in-call shops.

Then again, the possibility of threesomes might push me back over towards go-gos. Ah, decisions, decisions.

The night was still young pretty early to get bogged down. Depending on your libido, you should try MP places during the day. I prefer MPs to barfining ladies from the bar.

But one part of your post bothers me. If it is your first trip and you care about your first trip, do your homework. You don't want to show up not knowing where to go or how to avoid the common pitfalls newbies often fall into.

Once picked up a FL from MIXX and decided on 3000 LT. As soon as she realized my room was simply across the street at the Grand Hyatt (6-7 k Baht per night), she admitted in a non-angry way that she would have asked for 5 k if she knew I was staying there.

That being said, I also think GFE performance is much better at nicer hotels. The amenities are better, the girls are more comfortable, naturally feel safer, and have more confidence you aren't going to stiff them. Who doesn't like staying in a nice hotel room? Probably the same with a normal girl- imagine bringing a date back to a sub-par apartment / house was vs. Really nice bachelor pad.
