Half a dozen guys have in earlier posts already recommended the 90 min boat ride + 30 min taxi to ALona beach on the island of Panglao, Bohol. I know I will be there very soon.
Other than that, what is recommended on Mactan for a day or two...for say US 100 to 150 a night?
I've heard Moalboal and Bantayan (on or near Cebu) recommended, but neither seems to be as convenient as the very scenic boat ride to Bohol. I"ve never been to either place, but I understand you can get a taxi or bus from Cebu. Years ago, SpamHog gave specific directions.
I've gone an hour north of Cebu and found a cheap and cozy resort run by a European, but there was no sand beach.
Can anyone give a good summary of beach areas? I already have women in spades, so don't need proxemity to P4P. (But any update on Lapu-lapu Mermaid or other bars would be appreciated). X

I booked a room at the Parklane. Got it for under $65 a night (my currency isn't US dollars so this is a guess). I am looking forward to staying there.
It is my first time in Cebu. How far from the GoGos and other venues for mongering? If anyone can spare a few minutes and condense the scene into a few paragraphs I would be very appreciative. I promise to write a trip report while I am there.

GOGO BARS
The gogo bars is definitely not close to Parklane hotel. You will need to take a taxi. Just walk out the front entrance and the guy at the doorway will ask if you need a taxi. He works at Parklane hotel and stands by the door. He will waive a taxi for you and when a taxi pulls up, he will give you a slip of paper with info on that taxi. This slip is to file a complaint if you are not satisfied with his services. I recommend you checkout the gogo bars on mango avenue first. As you get in the taxi, just tell the driver: "Viking Bar on Mango Avenue" he will know as most taxi drivers know Viking bar on Mango. The distance is not far in a taxi but, too far to walk though. It would take less than 5 minutes to reach Mango Avenue from Parklane Hotel.
As the driver enter onto Mango Avenue (Gen Maxilom Ave.), you will see this building. [url]http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=85220[/url] There is Vikings Bar, BGs Bar and Erik the Red. Vikings Next Door is connected with Erik the Red.

On the left of Dimples (not shown) is Pussycats, Dimples, Love City and then Papillon gogo.
If you walk further down on mango towards the Caltex gas station on your right, there's a big church(Iglesia Ni Cristo ) on your left across the Caltex gas station, if you pass the gas station and turn right at the corner, you'll be on . Jacosalem St. Club Temptations is down this road to your right.

It's pretty dead though right now. I been there last month and it was slow.
There is also Lone Star bar located near Beverly Boutique Hotel. If you see the big church on mango, there is a driveway that turns at the corner of the street. This street is F. Manalo Street. This is where Beverly Boutique Hotel is on. As you keep walking down this street, you will see another road up ahead where you can turn right or left. *Note: If you took a taxi from Parklane Hotel to Mango Avenue, the taxi driver will normally take this route and get on Queens Road and then turn left on F. Manalo Street. You will see Beverly Boutique Hotel on your right and he will then drive straight onto Mango Avenue. You will see the building up ahead that has Vikings, BG and Erik the Red.
Another Gogo is Silver Dollar. This bar is very near the Crowne Regency Tower building on Osmena Blvd. You can't miss the Crowne Regency Tower. It is the tallest building in Cebu.

OTHER GOGOS IN CEBU
There is other bars in Cebu outisde of Mango Avenue. One of them that I went to last month is Club Arena. This gogo bar is very expensive compared to most bars in Cebu. However, it is big and the women in there look good and dress classy. I would recommend it despite the high cost of the BF. There is an entrance fee of 200 pesos as you enter and another 200 pesos as you leave. They will add this to your tab when you buy your drinks.
If you head south of Osmena Blvd, it will take you to downtown Cebu. This area is more slummy and have older shops and department stores. I would advise you go there in the daytime only if you're going by yourself. There is gogo bars there but, best going there with someone since this is your first time in Cebu.
There is a few bars on N. Escario street north of Mango Avenue just a few minutes away by taxi. Stripes Gogo and Blue Angel Gogo is located there. I have not been to these bars yet.
DISCO/NIGHT CLUBS

Sunflower near IT Park. This club is big with long tables. They have live bands in here.

Pump 2. There is 2 club pump clubs. Pump 2 is located at Mango Square mall on Mango. It's in the back area.
The Loft. This club is located in IT Park which is near Waterfront Hotel. It is in the corner of the Skyrise IT Building. I did not like this club. I found it boring actually
Club VUDU. This club is located at The Crossroads. It is not too far away from IT park. This club is small. My friend who went there with his girl last year, he said he didn't really like it.
MALLS
Ayala Mall is very close to Parklane Hotel. You can just walk there and within 5 minutes, you should be at Ayala. Ayala does have alot of nice eye candy walking around
SM Mall is located near the Cebu International Port. You will need to take a taxi there. Alot of young people shopping at SM Mall.
I'd say these 2 big malls you will be mainly checking out. There are other smaller malls also. But, Ayala and SM are the 2 largest in Cebu.

If you mean somewhere in metro Cebu city then head to the east side of Mactan Island. Tambuli, Maribago Bluewater, Blue Reef and Marigondon resorts are all around fifity dollars US give or take. But plan on B.Y.O.B unless you have Korean women in your sights.

Just to add:
I've been to a few of the bars downtown and in general, the ladies are usually older and 'meatier", not what I call eye candy.
But the drinks are cheaper so after having a few more, maybe they could look like eye candy.
Also, the downtown places cater more to the locals than to foreigners.

I haven't been to any of the bars in downtown myself and I don't really care to go to any of those. I just go there during the day just to shop at the department stores and the outside stands. I'm content to just going to the gogo bars on Mango Avenue.
By the way, I haven't bothered to check out Club Harem gogo in Mandaue. They have young ones there but, the area where it's located is quite ghetto from the outside. Anyone had any recent experience from this bar?

As a conversation/forum starter, I would like to pose a question to other mongers who visit the Philippines. Going to gogos is a "slamdunk" and no skill is needed at all to pick these girls. Admittedly choosing the right girl is an art form. Anyway, back to my question. Do any of you guys have a MO or a technique for picking up regular girls in the Malls. Care you share your stories/advice?
I was very successful by using DIA but when i was strolling the mall there were soo many available young girls. I would suggest just go there and hang out, talk with some girls working there or sit and eat lunch and they will find you. Within a short time you will have a girl ask you, where you from sir? You married sir? Where you stay sir? How long you be here sir?

There is a whole thread here about this G-man.
Too many variables in the strategy for there ever to be an MO or technique.
The best strategy is to let them pick up you. Watch for the eye-contact, smiles, or somebody sitting down close to you in a coffee shop when there are many other tables available.
But..... be careful who you approach. There are women who don't like foreigners who go to malls to pick up women so if you try to hit up one of them in any sort of crude or direct way you may well find yourself reported to security and kicked out of the mall (as has happened to one guy I know who naively thought all women in the malls were available).

As for the malls. I think that Wicked Roger and Greg London (I hope I am right with the names) have posted quite a few reports on their mall techniques. A good student. Studying their posts. And the posts of others. Can find some decent technical approaches to the game! I think in some ways it sounds a lot like the scene in South Korea (and nothing like it in a LOT of other ways). If a man is bold and approaches a girl who shows some interest. Then he's halfway to where he wants to be.
I guess I will know for sure when I hit Cebu in August!

Cebu is a unique place. I have spent a many of days trolling the malls in Cebu. If you have no game, your ok. If you have a little game, your awesome. If you have a lot of game, you will find yourself in the pornstar category.
What to say?????? Hello would be a great start.. Just be cautious that some are very shy. And some will come right up to you at Friday's while your eating and ask ifyou have a gf and want to know if you want to go with them.
I will break down and share one example since were on the subject.... I once went into the swimsuit shop and was mingling around. A pretty young thing, shyly came and asked me if I needed any help. I shyly spoke back that I had a new gf and wanted to buy her a swimsuit, but didn't know the size. But I told her she was the same size and asked if it was ok to try one on for me. Of course she really got shy, and I played it.... (If you want my exact quotes NO, but come on - this shit is easy) This girl was hot and she was in a bilkini suit I picked out for my NOT GF.... Then I told her I didnt have a gf, and I wanted to buy it for her and she refused, good girl. A number and a plan for a date was had. It took me two dates, I know, but Im ok to play a girl as I live in the Phils and I'm not desperate. And this giirl was fine. Second date, she didn't drink and watched me get in the mood over sml's and she was in my hotel telling me after 3 pops she loved me. Great success but the WR would have had this girl trained a 3 holer in stockings after 3 pops.....
I'm 38, I know a little younger, but my friends are all older and have the same success, so they think. If I ever hear another report that guys have trouble in a mall in Cebu, they are gay.... My buddy and I once seen a guy who had scabs and nasty shit all over him meet a girl in ayala mall. We both looked at each other and said, You have to be fucking kidding me and I hope I never come across a girl that he has been with. It appeared to be a first date and she didnt stay, but later in the day we seen him leaving with an ok average girl. Two points here, be careful and if a guy who is obviously diseased can pick up girls here then so should you.
