Eurotel is the best of the short timers. I think you will find that their wash-up rates are 4 hours and not 6, unless they have changed them recently. I've used the place a few times and it is much cleaner and better appointed than Sogo Hotel (but part of the same group).

Prices

Compared to Burgos EDSA is dirt cheap. Drinks around 2-300PHP cheaper. Barfines around 1-2000PHP cheaper.

Burgos Prices:

Drinks on average 100-400 PHP

Barfine: most places I was quoted 3000PHP

The girl’s…. beauty wise… this is debatable. I think I saw more beautiful girls on Burgos though. Burgos simply covers a larger area and it has a massive (not my scene) street walker/freelancer scene which I did not see around EDSA.

I stayed there about 6 weeks ago one saturday night. I asked them what was the washup rate & got blank looks. I spelled it out for them asking how much is their short time rate. Again blank looks. I then asked do they not have rent rooms for six hours? Answer a very definite 'No Sir!'

I stopped in at the Sogo in Ermita & asked at reception what was their room rates, after a moments hesitation the answer i got floored me 'im sorry sir we dont give out our rates' Im like WTF??

I stopped by the sogo in Malate to enquire what there room rates were. After several evasive non answers i asked clearly & politely what is their room rate for six hours? The non answer i got left me really fed up with them.
What the fuck is the big secret with these hotels?
Surely people dont just roll up & just pay anything asked?

av[/quote]i certainly can't explain your experiance. i have done short time at all of the above mentioned hotels, many many times, and have never had anything like that happen. sogo specializes in short time, so as i understand it, they were saying "if you would like a room, we cannot tell you how much it will cost until after you check out"? am i missing something here?

something else was going on. my guesses.

1) there was some type of anti-vice sweep/religious thing going on and the police were not allowing shortime hotels temporarily. (possible as some municipalities ban short time hotels permanently)

2) you were with a girl who they thought was **** or otherwise undesirable (maybe a known thief).

but either way, i can pretty much guarantee that such a thing will never happen to you again. i can state that based on a couple of hundred personal trips to those and other short time hotels, with only one similar problem (they requested the id of my girl for some reason and she did not have it).

Last time I was at a Sogo they had the rates posted in the lobby. Four hours, eight hours, etc. That was Sogo in Bacoor across from Jolibee.

Another good thing that I found with Eurotel, is that there was no problem with 2 girls coming to a room, with none of the usual crap about additional joiner payments, that is encountered at other ST hotels.

Monger Date 8 Feb 09 First Time

Hit LA Café last night and what can I say. The place was crawling with the ladies/freelancers. For all you Captain Save Hoes this place is not a place to find a wife. A lot of the girls are chain smoking, leather wearing hardened hookers that will do a little bit of everything. If you are looking for the shy innocent type of Filipina please move along but if you want to get fucked and sucked to your toes curl this place is definitely for you.

The Place:

The place is a two story bar, live band eatery etc…some of the waitress’s even look tight in their slutty/hot fishnets stockings. Don’t know if they go for takeout. Clientele consist of the United Nations, Americans, Brits, Japanese, and Koreans, saw about three Brothas….

All type of girls were available from the simple braces young type to the old skanky… looks like she been around the block type it was ridiculous. Warbucks was taken aback by it all. I have been around the block a few times but it was simply amazing.

When I first walked in I was disorientated had to find a point of attack there was no place to sit and people were everywhere so I made myself around the room trying to find a clean space to lay low..Nothing. Then I saw the stairway and rule of thumb upstairs is always more clearer then downstairs.

Upstairs you also had to pay and entrance fee of 100PHP. Once I got in I found my way to the back of the room ordered me a San Miguel and chilled awhile.

I was being courted by young braces wearing Filipina but I didn’t make a move. She was shy but was smiling and laughing like crazy. I was too slow a Korean beat me too her so I turned my attention to around the room.

Not long did I get accosted by two Filipinas one was fat but had a nice attitude and the other was nice with a look in her eye that I could tell she could fuck the fleas off a dog. They told me to come party with them. I did for a while but felt they were trying to push me towards the fat girl she was real cool but sexually she had the appeal of Rosie O’ Donnell so I excused myself after a while.

Made myself back downstairs and had a girl grab me and said her friend wanted to talk to me. Soon as I started chatting with her another girl across room grabbed me and said her friend wanted to talk to me. First girl was like you are a popular guy. The second girl just didn’t do it for me looked rough was dog ugly.

I was hand brought to the girl that wrote it while she was not a knock out by a long shot she had spark about her. She also had a nice ass for a Filipina.
