I am booking a room for next month and was quoted $62 by Wilifred. Is there a discount for boardmembers that could push that rate down into the $50's?
Thanks
Orange wankers still owe me couple of thousands pesos. However, it was a lesson, just keep only few hundreds in credits and that's it. Now, anyone with better value proposition from the East Coast than Dom Rep, please step forward.
I second the motion. I am so glad I kept my phone credit under 300 peso.
Going back to the DR on the 20. Delta has flights one way out of JFK at 2:59- 7:06 for $316. However my man is coming out of Jax (Delta) flying to JFK to get on the same flight with me his cost $160 aint that a bitcha.
No fucking jobs. Bullshit. Y'all keep believing those lazy ass lying broads if you want to. I just got this message from my main Santiago girl.
"Amor consegi un trabajo el lunes, y hace como 1 hora que llege a la casa".
Just out of curiosity, what is the job and what does it pay?
Just out of curiosity, what is the job and what does it pay?
It should be a job at the banca (those ubiquitous lottery places) where they make you work 12 hours a day for 6 days a week for 6000 DOP a month.
Of course the man is always discriminating. He always picks the perfect ho and pays them the right amount and HIS (note the possessive) girls are also always educated, truthful and always have a high paying job at hand and if not, the job is always for her to whistle at. So they can pay him for the privilege of sleeping with him.
Sucks for you guys. The rest of the universe who suck at this and miserably- you need to mimic his swag.
Gents,
Where do why'all think the best pristine, white sands, non-rocky beaches are in the DR?
Basically to swim in and just relax on the sand.
I said public cause you can meet some honey!

A 70-hour work week for 150 dollars a month.
That is very typical. I swear I don't know how people manage to survive there.
Is there any wonder why some women will offer sexual services for a chance at a real income?

Las Terrenas has lovely beaches scenically, but I can't remember how deep or calm the water is for swimming. Ideally for swimming you want deep water, no breakers or undertow, and a wind coming off the land that will flatten the waves. Hard to find.
However at this time of year it will be very, very hot on the sand beaches in the middle of the day and few people will be able to take more than half an hour of direct sun, so you need somewhere where you can rent an umbrella and have cold drinks close at hand.
In some respects a nice hotel pool may be better, plus you don't get your feet dirty with sand or have to walk on burning hot sand.
Of course I'll need an umbrella and chairs and food / drinks and fresh see food especially to complete the experience.
Away from hard core pros! But not away from local chicas access. And what will make it perfect is having a couple of universities / colleges nearby. That is my utopia.).
I wasn't talking about a specific time of the year, but just in general where do you think the best public beaches are.
Thank you.

I looked at some YouTube videos of both punta cana and Semana, especially las terranas, beaches. Very very nice! Looks like heaven to me. LOL I did notice that punta Cana is more for tourists and semana is more for locals which is what I like.
Which of the coasts are generally better for beaches? North or south? It seems the north coast is nicer to me just based on google and YouTube.
I'm chatting with girls from Moca, Espaillat. Is that a nice beach province?
I swear I don't know how people manage to survive there.
Most don't or they look 50 by the time they are 30. Their life from what little insight I have is taking a loan from someplace to pay back a loan that is presently overdue. What is amazing to me though is despite all this existential angst, how enjoyable their company usually is. Even if you may not enjoy the intellectual depth often times.
I know this woman. I have never met her physically. In her 20's and with two kids and has this banca job and that is how I know the pay. The poor girl would like to leave the job but she does not have a choice not that she is educated or anything and even with education it is never cushy. Recently she told me she wanted to go to Boca Chica with a friend of hers for a weekend (guess why) but she had no money for the trip. I sent her some money so she could go. I had told her that boca chica is mostly for the Italians who like real flacas while from her pics she may not fit even though she is thin. Anyway, she came back and told me her friend who was thin, made 22000 and even found a German suitor who pursued her while she did not have much luck. She told me yesterday that she wants to go to Sosua next weekend. I wish her luck.

I don't know what "smack dab" means in English. But I am assuming English is not your first language! Don't feel embarrassed. It's my third!
The question I posed at the end was about the Espaillat province beaches not moca!
And you are excluded from this conversation.
I don't know what "smack dab" means in English.
Mr. E was kind and helpful enough to suggest that if you checked Moca, the capital of the province of Espaillat on google map, you would have noticed that the whole province is right in the middle of the island, next to Santiago. Without any access to a large body of water. You would also save time by googling "smack dab" to figure out it means "exactly" or "squarely". A new addition to your English vocab.
