Sorry mate, but it ain't them, its you. And it isn't the weight that is giving you the problem but it has to be your personality or something else.

I'm an American, 40s, overweight but I would say that unenthusiastic girls seems to be the outlier for me.

Last week I had two incidents that are very different than the problem you are having. Both in Bangkok, but it should be the same. First was in Thermae. After deciding to head back and talk to a girl that smiled as I walked past I ordered a water and began to talk to her. Same chit-chat they use on us. How are you? What's your name? Where are you from? How long have you been in Bangkok? After a while I asked about LT and she said she can't, she only does ST. She has a day job. We continued to chat for the better part of 25 mins. Made fun of the Japanese folks in the bar. Talked a bit about food. Eventually talked about the holiday and as it was NY weekend she said she has the weekend off from the day job. Once she decided that she liked talking to me and we saw that she doesn't have to work the next day... LT was on the table.

During my last hours in Thailand I was in Cowboy. I wasn't looking for LT but for ST. Eventually I got the girl and we headed to a ST room just outside of Cowboy. The girl was cute and I said next time I come to town I'm going to BF her LT. She said she can't do that as she lives with her family and they don't know. Too bad. I spend a good 20 mins DATY and she claims she got off. Not sure I believe her. After I got my turn and we were lying there in the afterglow, I said "Too bad you can't go LT" Her response was, "I think I can".

I'm no looker. I'm an overweight falang like you. But I take the time to try to make a connection with the girls before I bring up LT/ST. I go in for the Thai sniff kiss. Make her feel comfortable. Make her feel like she can trust me. Then I typically don't have a problem getting the girls to go LT.

I was in the same kind of hunt when I was in Pattaya myself. I have tended to have some luck finding some of these types of girls located in the Arabic area of Pattaya kinda near Tony's Disco. You'll know you're on the right track when you see all the Hookah Pipes. Some will be a bit overweight but there will be some like you describe as well. Good Luck and let me know it you find.

Lucifer is my spot. 1000 baht all night is the going freelance rate (although I have gotten one for 700 before). Insomnia is a bit too much light and sound for my 37 year-old body. Mixx is okay but they will pester you to buy the over-priced drinks, and if you don't they will put you out. As for late night.. I like to be in the sack early with mine so I get my 1000 baht's worth.

I think I will head down there about 8:00 this evening and hang for a while. I to am a little old (over 50) for very late night and a lot of head banging music. Last night I took a stroll down beach road around 8:30 and there were some nice looking girls. I came back later around 11:30 and it seemed all the nice ones were gone.

I did partake on some ST on soi 6 (Chili Bar) the other day. Although the girl was very accommodating, I was surprised at how nice the room was.

I like venues where you can talk, hang a little and get to know the girl first. I still have 2 more weeks and if I could find someone interesting, I would like to do a week or so of couple stuff. Thanks for the suggestions,

No need to go all the way to to Ethiopia - plenty of Ethipians, Eritreans and Djboutians in Dubai. Oral IS a challenge.

I was in Pattaya 2 days last weekend with 2 friends. We didn't have a room and our taxi driver didn't know one to suggest so we stopped first at soi 8 and took rooms in the first hotel, which was Sunshine Hotel on Soi 8. Nice hotel close to action but still quiet, own balcony in the back alley or something. Some higher floor rooms have a sea view. Price 1850 thb a night of course probably very high compared to many other places, not sure, it was the first time in Pattaya.

Many Russian tourists around, also seemed that families with a teenager were watching walking street shows in bars. Walking street a big disappointment, nothing much there expect high prices for a beer. Watched some tired shoot a banana from pussy show, nothing much to offer. Next day soi 6, a lot better place. Played a little pool with each other and with a ladyboy from the bar. Found a nice bar, I think it was the last one on the right side when you walk soi 6 to the beach. One girl got my interest, she offered ST in the room upstairs, 700thb for her and 300thb to the bar. So upstairs we went, small room with a bed and a shower we used, not perfectly clean probably, I dont think they do the bed a lot between customers. I guess many if not all bars on soi 6 have a ST room upstairs? Time ran out and we had to go to our hotel as the bar closed at 1 am. My friend would have liked a girl from the bar to his room. The girl had only 1 hour time and she was driving a motorbike or what are they called in english those small things. Her friend was also riding with her and she would have liked ST with my other friend. My other friend hesitated and we never showed up at the hotel, went to eat rice with chicken instead. Our friend met the girls in front of the hotel, but they both split after hearing that the other guy did not come for her friend. Bad luck for my friend. Had I not had a sore throat and if I not had been a little sick, I would have "sacrificed" myself and taken the other girl. She was cute but very quiet, looked very disinterested, which was also one reason my 3rd friend did not like to go with her. All in all, 2 nights a little sick not enough time to see Pattaya, so many bars and fun but maybe next time then. Should be soon.

Much of Ethiopia is a green and fertile land. It's like thinking that the US is a desert because you've seen pics of the Mojave. Ethiopian girls typically have finer features and a slimmer frame than the Bantu people to the south. You do see some real beauties there. In my experience the girls are not as enthusiastic in bed as other African girls or as skilled as Thais. Oral is rare. The costs in Addis are on par with Thailand. For sure if you go to some out of the way place it is likely to be cheaper.

I know this is the Pattaya thread, but I just can't help myself. I was fortunate enough to date an Ethiopian woman for 6 months when I lived in Washington DC. She was studying in the USA and cocktail waitressing part time at the hotel I was a manager at. The suggestions you've recieved from other punters on here are all good ones. Personally, however, I have found just as good a result walking along the beach side of beach road.
