Can I second JB's comment about beach road. Yes, you have to be wary - there are a lot of girls (and fake girls) on Beach road who could give you some grief (thieving, throwing a temper tantrum, druggies etc etc). I suggest that when you see what you like, sit beside her and chat for a few minutes. Standing over her might put her off. This way you are more likely to find out if there are any potential problems. If she pays you no attention, leave. If you see any health problems or if she appears intoxicated, move on.
But when I checked some weeks ago, I found quite a few ladies who were not from Issan but from Bangkok and the central part of Thailand. I brought each one to my guesthouse and all behaved very well. Many had no babies. Most were victims of the economic slowdown. All gave reasonable GFE - I repeated with 2 who were particularly outstanding. On the repeats, the experience improved - these girls are relatively new to the game as a full-time occupation, I think. All prices 500baht short time and I offered 100 baht as a tip which was gratefully accepted. Beach road is great for a semi pro experience if you keep your wits about you.

#1 The girls like short time for many reasons, I. E. Make more money, but also they never know who they are hooking up with. Last year I hooked up with one girl and spent 10 days with her. She told me so much, about guys who are not nice, want to beat or hurt the girls, etc. That being said if they spend 2.3 hours with you and want to stay that may mean they feel comfortable with you and you are a nice guy. Rest assured your hotel room is much nicer then the room they share with 2. 3 other girls, or maybe she figures she can squeeze some $$ out of you, LOL. Most all of the girls I ST'd ended up spending the night and the 2nd or 3rd round is always better, like I said maybe they like sex more if they feel comfortable with the guy, who knows.
#2 All of my long timers except one have been free lance. The one bar girl I did have for 3 days needed me to pay the barfine for all 3 days. If you do this try to pay each day rather then all the days you think you want to keep her, just in case her father, mother, cow, whatever gets sick and she has to leave. I have always paid 1000 bath / day and a little extra the last day depending on the girl. The one I mentioned above that I spent 10 days with I gave her 1, 000 every day and on the last day gave her another 8, 000. However the girl cooked for me, took me on tours on her motorbike, did my laundry and drove me in her pickup to the airport my last day. Girls prefer ST for any number of obvious reasons. If they stay all night, they get popped at least twice, but maybe more (my record is 7!). They stay all night with a guy who they probably do not like and probably do not find attractive. The guy might snore, he might smell bad, he might be nasty and aggressive, he might want to do things she doesn't like, she might get no sleep. If they go ST they get popped only once and are probably out within one hour. And the deciding factor, the fee for LT is only about 50% more than for ST. If the girls want more money, they are much better off going for two (or more) STs in a night. The young and good-looking ones have no reason to stay LT; probably they have a Thai boyfriend who they sleep with (and who is happy to spend most of the money!). Girls who stay LT generally do so only if they feel they have no other options, and so are likely to be the less attractive ones. The culture amongst the girls is that we are 'Johns' to be exploited; they lose kudos in their eyes if they stay all night with us.

The only reliable way of finding a virgin in Pattaya is to go down to the maternity hospital, choose a good looking sprog and sponsor her for the next 18 years until she's old enough! But you must stay with her all the time, just to be sure.

Just got back recently and it all depends on when you were there previously for a comparison. If you were there early last year then this year is slower and if you were there 2-3 years ago then action now is much slower than last time you visited. FL actions in discos is still ok but FL action on beach rd is way down from years ago.

I know PI has "cherry girl" as a concept in some bars.

Morning folks. Thought I'd post about Day 2 while its still fresh. I spent most of the day asleep with a wicked hangover, and decided to take night 2 easier. Walked up Soi 8 and then down Soi 7, stopping at any bar that had a hot girl. I ended up about half way down Soi 7 and spent a few hours there with some of the chicks.
