Sometimes--depending on cell tower load I guess--one is slightly better than the other, but at best both are slow, struggle to download photos and are hopeless for video streams. They are both the next best thing to useless and I use them only when there's no other choice.

Hi everyone,

I joined as I'm looking to relocate to the Philipenes in the next couple of years.

I notice there's quite a few here saying that basically, if you just walk around malls, you'll find yourself a girl who wouldn't mind been your girlfriend, so long as the money keeps flowing of course.

Now I'd prefer this type of arrangement over having a succession of girls every night (don't get me wrong the idea of that sounds good too, but would prefer to have a solid regular girl as well). My question is- is it really all that easy? I've never been that great at picking up non P4P girls in western countries- are 18-25 girls significantly easier to pick up in the PI compared to the 18-25 girls in the West?

This is not one of the deluxe hotels in the city D-C (actually there aren't any).
Many Government agencies use it to house filipino participants in their seminars/workshops in the city (they can squeeze multiple beds into the rooms as pinoys like to stay in shared accommodation unlike most foreigners).
It may suit you short time but you also may find it is pretty average. Don't pay any up-front long-stay fees until you check it out.

Assuming your question is not a joke, yes it is MUCH easier than in the West. Think of it as approximately as easy as buying a god pair of shoes in the West. ie If you just want ANY shoes, you just go to one of many shops take a quick look and get your credit card out. However if you want a pair that are well made, exactly firt you and exactly suit the use that you are going to put them to, you will probably have to shop around and spend a few days comparing different options depending on how fussy you are, but you can be pretty sure if you are prepared to put a little effort into the search, you are going to get one thats a great fit for you.

My single best piece of advice would be to find a girl that you like, is funny and fun to talk to but is not ultra jealous and will let you fuck other girls and indeed is happy to participate. There are many bisexula or semi bi girls that are for example looking for a guy willing to support them through college and in return will be his on tap of live in gf without getting jealous if you wish to bring another girl back

Parklane Hotel man across Ayala Mall. Me and my friends would bring in regular girls and bar girls. We have not been questioned as of yet. The pool is on the 4th floor along with the Jacuzzi and Gym. The daily rate would be cheaper to stay at Parklane vs Marriott.

I don't pretend to know, or even to like Cebu. However, I have to go there for a night on business next week, and booked a room at the Park Lane, via expedia, for $60 a night including breakfast (but not taxes), which seems like a good value, given what others have said about the quality of the hotel.

I am going to PI in September 2010, because I am divorced from a filipina, without ever regretting that relationship. I met my wife (filipina) in Saipan, near Guam, in 1992. Her beauty was "Flawless", but I never really felt a perfect "Connection" with her. We parted in 1998 and I don't miss her, but I do miss having a companion. Saipan "WAS" a good place to meet Filipinas, but now it is too dangerous.

While I lived there I was dating three girls from PI at the same time. Two of them were living with me and sharing my bed. The third one lived in her employers' house as a maid. All three were attractive. I was 32 and they were from 2-7 years younger. However, as wonderful as this was for me, it took quite a bit of work to arrange, as I posted 1000 flyers all over the island and answered phone calls until I ended up with this arrangement.

Furthermore. It seemed as though once it was all done with, I had reached the limit for that Island. Another three girls would have been hard to find. So in that respect, going to PI seems a lot better where "Supply" is concerned, but in the early 1990's Saipan was a very CLEAN (not a hint of pollution) and a VERY SAFE place to live. To Sum it up. PI seems to be the ideal place to find a nice wife, but in 1991, when I was a Rookie Monger, I am glad that I had a safe USA "Territory" like Saipan to get started in.

Might try Midtown Hotel, located directly over Robinson's. It is located in the center of the city, Fuente Osmena, and within walking distance of Silver dollar and other bars (Vikings, Thunderdome). Can pick up girls in robinsons and go to your room without going outside. Just go to the elevator in the mall and to the lobby of the hotel then another set of elevators to your room. Has a small pool. All the girls know where Robinson's is. Plus, easy to get taxi. Hotel can be entered from the street or from the mall. Supermarket is on ground floor of mall, plus money changer with good rates is located adjacent to supermarket.

Okay - bad part. Last time I was there they tried to charge me extra for the girl...told them I have a 10yr. history of staying there. Dropped the charges. Better if you book for two. just an idea. The free breakfast is ok.

Choice 2. Holiday...something. Across and down the street (F. Ramos) from Robinsons. Again, location is good, breakfast is good, rooms are old. Get you laundry done at Raintree Mall. Go check them out while you are in cebu.

This is probably the wrong forum on which to seek advice for what is obviously an important issue.

With that caveat in mind, I suggest that the city you choose is less important than the way in which you conduct your search. One viable avenue is to select a city--I would advocate Davao because I live here and I like the place--make friends with some expats who have established serious relationships, and ask their wives/partners to introduce you to "serious" women who are in the market for stable relationships with foreigners. There are tens of thousands of women in this category. Following this route however, means that you've got to stay for a while and follow up the introductions you're given to identify those women who appeal to you and with whom you believe it may be possible to establish a relationship.

I've also known guys here who have identified dozens of potential mates through such sites as Date in Asia, Filipina Hearts, and others of similar ilk. I've never been on such sites, so I only got a sketchy idea of what's involved, but I do know others find them valuable.

My view is that it will be possible to find a good girl in most places bar Angeles and even there it may be possible. Where to look rather depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for an 18 year old virgin type then you may well have luck in the Provinces, though even in the big cities there is a steady supply of such girls newly arrived from the Provinces. Personally, assuming that you are a mature guy, I would think the 18 year old virgin is not a good plan and you may find a girl with more education and experience more interesting. I think the more interesting women are difficult to find deep in the Provinces. Personally if i were lookinng for a wife i would look at the demand/supply situation. In small places popular with Western retires such as Dumaguete, the ratio of cuties to western guys huntinmg them is not attractive. In places like Mindanao there is a large population but becasue of the troubles very few westerners. So cities such as CDO and Davao may be promising hunting grounds.

To GE and GL, Thanks for your input and the help you gave me. I might have led you to think that when it comes to SEX, I am not interested, given my introduction to the group. I would love to take a "Hot" chick to a hotel and cuddle for hours, but I would rather it be a lady with whom I may have a promising future. I understand Greg's words about if I am a mature male, I may not want an 18 yo virgin. I note that you described your previous wife as a "pretty filipina" from whom you are now divorced.
I also note that you are "going to PI to find a wife". Sort of like "going to the mall to buy a pair of trousers".
Have you properly analysed WHY you are now divorced and reflected deeply on the possibility (and likelihood) that going into the same pond again without a very clear plan of exactly WHAT you want may just end up as a re-run of your previous experiences. If you have and you still plan to come to the Phils than that's cool but filipinas in the Philippines tend to be much more "provincial" than filipinas who live abroad (I don't necessarily mean OFWs).

Some of the girls that I know very well here are wonderful to hug while taking a nap, great for sex and generally terrific fun BUT only for part of each day.
When I think long and hard about the prospect of spending all day every day with any one of them I realise that I would go crazy with the generally very shallow thinking that each one has. Most have only a vague knowledge of anything except show business gossip and virtually no idea at all about geography or history even within their own country. Having Wowowee on TV 6 days each week would either drive me out of the house or force me to get another TV for my study/office etc.
As I said before, most filipinas are great fun for 2 - 3 hours or even a weekend or 3 or 4 days in Boracay BUT you have to try to imagine how you would be if you had them around for much longer periods than that. When you do that deeper analysis, your criteria expand way way beyond whether she is pretty, sexy, tall, no stretch marks etc and you start truly thinking about what is in her head. Can we chat about stuff? Will the whole of the rest of my life be spent teaching her about many things that we consider trivial.
I am not putting down the whole species of filipinas. There are special ones around who make wonderful companions but they are not necessarily the best-looking ones and they are often the shy ones who you will never meet in malls or anywhere else. You must do as Good Enough says in an earlier post - find ways to have women introduced to you or maybe use DIA or some other internet avenue.
