On Thursday night I had a great time at Butterflies. I gave tips to various girls, including my server and mamasan when I did a bar fine (200 baht tip to mamasan). Absolutely nobody asked for a tip. All was good.

On Friday I returned to see my favorite girl. Various servers who did nothing for me were demanding tips. The server who brought a lady drink insisted that I also buy a drink for her (she wouldn't leave until I agreed to the servers drink). The worst was when last night's mamasan sat on the sofa with my lady and me and demanded a tip. When I gave her 40 baht she gave me a dirty look that was clearly intended to suck more money from my wallet. I refused and she started to complain in Thai. Finally I picked up my bill cup and called the server to pay my bill so I could just leave; that finally got mamasan to disappear for the rest if the evening.

So, here is the question. What do other customers do regarding tipping and drinks for servers and others that provided no direct value to me? The one that pissed me off the most was the prior night's mamasan who did nothing for me that evening.

Special help, can give a tip, if you think she deserves. That encourages help in the future.

Normal tip for mamasan when BF the girl is 100. They are not so happy with 40 as you pointed out.

There are many times the bar got nothing. For the wait staff, I will directly hand the waitress I like anywhere from 20 to 100 baht so they get to keep it, not the bar. If the waitress is hot (very rare) and DFK'ing me all night then she will get more.

Largest tip I had for a waitress is in Phnom Penh when she had sex with me in the back of the bar. She got $20 US and was ecstatic since she was having sex because she wanted to, not for money.

On a related topic, why are the waitresses in Pattaya gogo clubs almost always fat and butt ugly? Even some average looking girls would be appreciated.

She could work in a restaurant or hotel. In the modern day, the trend in Bangkok is for better looking girls to work as Coyotes (that don't go for fuck) even though they don't know how to dance like Coyotes. Not many waitresses are pretty enough to actually fuck.

I considered fucking my long time regular CH waitress a few months back after she went to work in Corner bar, but I was concerned that while she seemed to have big tits, the rest of body could be bad. She wasn't as curvy from waist to thigh as what I normally expect. I would wish to do some groping first I think, to check out the ass, belly and tits. Face was not exactly stunning. Pass with makeup, sort of. I believe she had several kids already (at a guess).

Usually when the girl is young and too shy to take off her clothes in public just yet. They are normally working as dancers soon enough. There was one girl who I considered an absolute stunner (other than her stomach) who worked as a gogo bar waitress. The reason she didn't work as a gogo girl is because she had a kid with her ex thai husband and was ashamed of the stretch marks on her stomach so she didn't want to expose that. In any monger venue, you should have developed the focus to be on the top 3 to 5 girls and ignore everything else. I can ignore really bad girls in a bar or a really bad mamasan, whatever. Takes someone to be persistently in my face to really bother me. Massively fat waitresses can still provide good service and intel. I don't care about their looks since I don't need every girl to be fuckable.

Same like in an FKK club, you rate the girls by the best 5, and absolutely ignore all the uglies and buffaloes. Even at the Lord I am going to restrict myself to looking at the best 3 lookers, then get a shock when I hear the prices LOL. In the Thermae, I think this attitude counts against me, since it is a challenge for me to get any of the best naturally looking slim 3 in the place, and get a GFE from them.

So I think you just need a change of attitude to be accepting all the uglies, so it just does not stick in the brain. If the dancing girls in the gogo are all butt ugly, that is a totally different thing, and can happen.

Must admit it was a bit much when very ugly non dancing staff in Suzie Wong wanted to show off their tits or pussy to me when I had no interest whatsoever. No I did not really want to touch the fat waitresses tits (maybe she hoped for a tip).

Crazy House had some nice looking ass and crack on the sleek girls dancing nude last night (not every night. It is quite variable), however I was only window shopping briefly. Start of the month is a good time, since girls need money for the rent and the better girls are more likely to show up. I think my waitress was fat. Ugly too? I just can't remember. My focus was on the stage more so. Had to leave when the shows come on because the show girls are pretty horrible standard. They do shows to try to get tips since they are probably not good looking enough to get BFed. The shows are well worth missing if possible.

Shark bar has a good policy. Waitresses are not allowed to sit with customers, so there is no chance of an ugly waitress wanting to sit next to you. I have my special waitress there who is actually in reasonable shape for a girl probably close to 40. Good for intel (she once worked at Suzie Wong so has known me for years). I think any bar, if you find a good waitress, then can get extra good service by buying her a drink and the odd tip, that is if you are looking for extra good service. Worthwhile if find the non hassling type. I never take to pushy girls at all.

Frankly, I never tip anyone who does not do anything for me. If I tip, it is always 50 or less.

AS for buying drinks for anyone except the girl I am groping, it is a strict NO. I am there to monger, not win a popularity contest.

On the good side, I exchanged Line information with my favorite girl and she is on her way to my hotel right now. No bar fine. No drinks. No tips to mamasan.

Gave After Skool a visit for the 1st time Friday night. I made it there after not really getting anything going at Nana (beer bars and Spanky's). The girls are actually pretty quality at Spanky's, but I didn't get a decent spark goIng with any of them. Met another guy at the bar just bull-shitting and decided to move on to Crazy House. This guy orders a coke at CH that costs 165 baht! He rightfully complains, but took it a bit overboard and totally pissed off every staff member within 10 meters. The waitress was flipping him off and I totally expected the bouncers to throw him out on his head. I paid for my beer and bailed since I figured my odds were totally shot from that point on in CH. The angry waitress took my cash and still politely wai'd to me.

So I hastily exited and hopped into Afterskool. I had a pretty good time actually. The place isn't as dingy as I thought it would be from the descriptions. And the girls are better looking there than at most of the other BJ bars I've been to. A lot of attention and petting is poured on instantly as soon as you take a seat. I bought a couple lady drinks for 2 girls. Then decided it would be a good idea to get a BJ from both girls. I don't think that it's necessary for me, by I checked a couple more boxes on the list. Getting blown by 2 girls at the bar in full view of everyone else. Eventually we moved over to the naughty boy corner. I never thought that I would be into sex acts in public, but it's kinda exciting! The girl that finished me off took CIM. My only regret is that I didn't have the other girl sucking my balls as the other took the load, 555! The BJ was ok skill wise for both. Not amazing, but maybe not as good as I expected from a BJ bar. But having 2 girls swap made it a lot better.

Another guy directly seated in view of the corner had 2 girls also on the booth seats. Getting blown by one and he was eating out the other. Both girls wanted 1000 from me. I made them split 1500. The biggest shocker was the bar tab! 165 baht beers (I think) and 230 baht lady drinks add up quick. Most other BJ bars are much cheaper on drinks, but the girls are uglier. I usually don't spend too much of my night in Cowboy or Nana. I can throw down the beers, so dropping 3000 on beers and lady drinks is usually the minimum. Either way, I like a night like that occasionally and never usually regret it.

I am having a layover in Bangkok on my international travel and I will be landing around 6:30 AM and leaving by 4:30 PM which probably gives me around 6 hours to road around the city. Can you guys suggest what areas or places I can visit. I want to experience what Bangkok has to offer (massage, FS, etc) in the short while for I may not come here anytime soon.

The mamasans in those bars normally hook me up with the hottest girl in the bar. Often times, I just ask them for the nicest girl in the bar and they will bring me a girl from the back I hadn't even seen yet who is stunning. I figure it's well worth the investment of buying the drinks. I also like to have the girl bring one of her friends over. I normally have 2 girls seated with me at all times and buy drinks for both. I like to feel up both of them while I watch the shows. I rarely bar fine 2, but I like to have a girl on each arm in the bar. They usually get a little wilder too when I have 2 drinking with me rather than 1. Then again, it's rare I don't spend at least 5000 baht during the night on drinks.
