Yes, that was one of the reasons I had doubts about 2-3 of them in Lollipop go-go bar being Ladyboys. They were sitting with average-looking Farang customers who seemed perfectly comfortable with them to the point of perhaps being their repeat ST customers. In one case I could just barely hear the Ladyboy's voice through the loud music and that was an easy giveaway. Did those other guys not know? Or had they gone further in their research and were now convinced they were indeed sitting with genuine females after all? It is only 2-3 dancers at most in there who left me in doubt. Others were clearly Ladyboys. And the rest seemed clearly not to be Ladyboys but genuine females.
The probable LBs were on other side of the room, so I did not hear any voices. Nice of you to confirm I was not just imagining things. The customers buying them drinks were younger and more handsome than me. I have nothing against sitting and chatting with charming LBs who can be a lot of fun (maybe that is rare. Not sure). I just don't want to ever see the dick and I need a real pussy, for sexual encounters. I have no inclination to even try LB BBBJ, and certainly no tongue kissing. For some reason though, gay men are a much bigger turn off than LBs though, if they start acting too sexy. Just my conditioning I guess. Never had an encounter with a bitchy Tom so I don't know what that is like. Had a good fuck from a Tom or two though so it seemed they were bi-sexual girls. Actually one must have been a "Dee" I guess, and has two kids by now, but at one time she had a Tom dickless "boyfriend".
I don't get put off a bar just because of a small number of LBs. As long as they are not a hassle. I used to attend Easy cart bar that had a very nice LB. A lot of cute girls in Lollipop so I think it is well worth attending compared to other Nana bars. The average standard of girl looks including the faces, was well above other Nana bars I have visited recently. I think the looks shit on Billboard. Lollipop is also brightly lit so you can see the girls properly. Obviously I am ignoring a few horror boob jobs and the LBs.
New manager in Suzie Wong looks like a Tom. Pushy type to be avoided.
The only time I ever saw a LB naked was when looked in the door of Voodoo (or whatever its name was in the LB period). The LB had a black bush, no dick evident but the shape of the nether region looked obviously wrong even from a distance. I guess it is not easy for a man to have a lady's shape unless having female hormones from a young age.
Has been covered any times. "Charoen" Pharmacy (big shop) on Sukhumvit Road, just West of Soi 4 (towards Soi 2) and near the Irish pub has a big range of medications. Don't ask for Cialis. That will cost far more than Apcalis. "Generic Tadalafil" is the other term.
There are plenty of other places. I mention just one.
Thank you.
Smoothy I am not questioning what you say but the problem that I find with your story is that Ladyboys are not able to change their gender on their ID. So surely the place where they worked would have seen their ID and know if they were born male or female.

And all this on Khousan road?
Just saying. Getting a fake ID in BKK is easy.

Although if they can get an operation to change from a dude to a chick, I would imagine they could somehow find connections to get a fake ID. I'm not as familiar with Thailand, but I know in Indonesia that almost every working girl has a fake ID.
I'm not as familiar with Thailand, but I know in Indonesia that almost every working girl has a fake ID.
My understanding is that ID's are issued at village level.
My understanding is that ID's are issued at village level.
Yes ID is issued at your local Amphoe where you Tabien Baan is registered too. You cannot change from man to woman or other way, Official Thai ID will always show your birth sex. It's possible of course to have a fake ID, but what's the point?
It's possible of course to have a fake ID, but what's the point?
What's the point? If a lady boy wants to have people think they are a female.

Indonesia one could be made by any print shop.
As for getting a real Thai ID with fake data, it must be possible, but I doubt it's particularly easy these days, and it wouldn't come cheap. More of a Hi-so guy covering his tracks territory. Would not expect that level of effort / connections / expense from a ladyboy hooker hiding they're male just in case a problem customer cares, insists on checking ID and doesn't take "I forgot mine" or "it's my brother's" as an answer. If they're pretty, they'll have plenty of customers who don't vehemently insist on scrutinizing their ID, and if they're not, it'll be obvious they're a ladyboy.

About six months ago it was 6-8 diffrent ones that would make a descent fake idcard (not the fake Student or Presscard ID) for about 500-700 baht at Kh. San road.
Nowadays you would be lucky to find 2 since there been numerous of crackdowns by The Royal Thai police officers that demands higher "teamoney" fines.
And for sure the prices have gone up to at least 1500 baht or more and also longer waiting time to collect your card / s.
As my trip to Bangkok is getting nearer I was wondering about the differences between the mamasans and waitresses working in go-go bars and how to treat them right.
I have been going to BKK a few times now and of all choices (Oily and Soapy MP's, FL, Beer bars, Dating sites, .) I have to say that the Go-Go bars are my favorite place to look for WG). Even though I spend most of my time in the gogo's and having read some posts here on this forum, I can't even see the difference between the mamasan and the waitresses in all places. Places like in Crazy House I have noticed the Mamasan but in other places such as Shark and Billboard which are two of the other places I like to spend time in I might have overlooked the mamasan. Perhaps I'm not paying too much attention what's going on in the bars except for what's happening on stage.
Usually I lay my eyes on a girl that I like on stage and wait until she comes over without asking anybody to bring her to me. I usually let the girl understand to come over to me while she's on stage. I believe that I have asked a waiter once to get somebody off the stage only as I couldn't wait any longer as she kept on dancing!
I personally don't think that there are advantages to ask the mamasan or other personnel anything about the girls who are on stage.
I think that at the end, we have a pair of eyes and we can ask the girl anything we want her to ask while offering her a LD. After some small talk you can conclude whether there's chemistry between the girl and you or not prior to taking her out for a good time.
I have never left a tip in the cases I took a girl out or it must be the change of the bill that I leave behind.
I don't consider myself as a stingy person. I just don't see the use to tip a waiter / mamasan if they haven't provided me any services (Except for bringing me my order) in order to choose the girl. I'm a conversationalist but in such venues I'm not the type of person that needs to chat with anybody else but the WG. At the end I'm paying my BF plus the ST / LT fee. It happens that from time to time I may order a drink to the waitress as well. Usually it doesn't happen often that waitresses or mamasans or whoever they are are pushy with me. The ones who are pushy I simply ignore.
I must say that I have never felt any discontent of anybody in the bar when I took a girl out but reading some stories I see people paying 300 bath or more to the mamasan or waitress.
Perhaps I might be wrong in the way I'm dealing with it and if there is some sort of etiquette then I'm interested to hear about it. I think that most probably every single one of us has their own way of dealing with it and perhaps the need to have a chat with others as well which is course is totally fine.

I think that most probably every single one of us has their own way of dealing with it and perhaps the need to have a chat with others as well which is course is totally fine.
I am with you on this. Nobody who has never been in a hotel room with a girl and her customer knows a damn thing about what that girl does or doesn't do unless you can actually get a waitress or a mamasan to tell you this or that girl gets tons of complaints from customers who return to the bar asking for refunds often or something. I doubt anyone would tell you such a thing even if they knew it to be true, which they probably don't since I don't even believe they pay all that much attention to anything like that. I used to ask mamasans which girls tend to get a lot of repeat customers, thinking that would certainly tell me something about the girl's work ethic. First reaction from a mamasan to a question like that is to screw up her face and wonder why on earth anyone would want to know such a thing and they have no idea which girls get a lot of repeat customers. Or they will say EVERY girl you ask about gets a lot of repeat customers. Total waste of time.
The two biggest, most ridiculous waste of time go-go dancers I have paid a barfine for and taken out in the past year were the result of foolishly taking the mamasan's word for it that they were good girls who really take care of their customers. lol.
I have often wondered if there is some magical advantage to asking a mamasan to call down a certain girl for me rather than do what you (and I) do; just make eye contact from the stage and gesture for her to come over now or after her set. I see other guys doing chatting with the mamasan and gesturing to this or that girl, then the mamasan shines her pin light on the girl and call her down for the guy. But I don't see those guys establishing wonderful chemistry, closing deals with girls and walking out with them after a LD or two any more often than if they had just done what I do.
On the mamasan tip or Lady Drink, I must have done it 2-3 times early in my time living in Bangkok. I can't say I never do it anymore but it is very rare. Not even sure what makes me ok with doing it now unless there is just something cute or clever about the way the mamasan asks for it. That has happened. But most of the time I just level my gaze back at the mamasan, smile and simply say, "Next time." But that next time never comes. They all know what "Next time" means. It means no. And they seem to accept it just fine. I have never noticed my not tipping or not buying a mamasan a LD having anything to do with how successful my time is with the girl back in my room. If anything, I feel like my not falling for it but just playfully shrugging off the mamasan's request shows the girl sitting next to me that I am not a chump willing to just throw away money for nothing.

On a side note: I've seen some really crazy fake IDs out there. I even met a guy who said he can fabricate an LAPD badge and showed me photos too. Cray city this BKK.
I buy the mamasan a drink in After Skool if I go there, whether I take a girl out or get a BJ there. I've been going there for many, many years so I don't mind. I don't go there often these days, maybe every 6 months, so it's not costing me a lot. I do it more out of habit.
