Rankin any luck in your finds.
I won't have the chance to go hunting next week.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a great order-in that delivers to hotels?

It's been a while since I last posted.
Anyway, I checked out JHP Anmas yesterday (Saturday 9pm).
It's DEAD. All the Anmas were closed. No lights flashing, nothing.
First, I thought it was because everyone had a day off or were too busy watching the Olympics or something, but when I kept walking, I noticed that the ENTIRE STRIP was closed. Some of the buildings even had their signs torn down.
It seems the cops have finally made a crackdown on that place.
I sure hope not...
..anyway, I'm gonna miss that place..
This is horrible news if it's true. Jangan-dong was my favorite place to go back in 2005. I'd go there every Sunday night to finish the week with a nice soapy massage and an orgasm for 80,000 KRW...
Can anyone else confirm if this is true or not? I won't be in Korea for another four months (anyone want to go to room salon in Dec?)... but I certainly hope it's not true!!!

If you are facing Pagoda Park, walk up the next street to the right (not the alley next to the park), and it's about seventy meters up on the right side of the road. IIRC, they open around 7pm and charged 120, 000. There's another Anmajang in the area within sight of Fox but I don't know the name. All I know is that they charge 180,000.
It appears that it is still business as usual over there but some of the girls have quit. All of the employees had to go to the police station and will likely be fined. I do not know if this will shut them down or not. From what my friend has told me they typically just pay the fine and stay in business because the money is so good.
Still rather disheartening none the less. I don't believe any customers got into any trouble but it does send a bit of a chill up your spine to consider the possibilities if any of us had been there at the time the police showed up.
I really wish Korea would lighten up a bit and remove the laws against the sex industry. The laws are rarely enforced and it seems they only serve to hurt the decent establishments which are not connected to organized crime. I think the current laws only cause more corruption both in the establishments and in the police force in the form of bribery. Not only are the RLD's suffering but even these rather tame places by comparison which do not even offer full service are now being effected... This is just a sad state of affairs all around.

1. If they get caught, and you get caught - during session-but you still might walk away from the police station- if it's your first time-, but you might need somebody - friends or any family member- who guarantee you, it's embarrasssing!!!
2. If you'd like to get those kind of service, and ask the owner or mamasang if they have a hidden/secret exit just in case- some shops have secret exits, and are supposed to warn guests of the police- to run away-.

Just a thought but it makes me wonder if the recent influx of foreign participants at Belle may have facilitated this raid or even worse, if this site is being monitored by outside forces working close with the police?
Hmmm...its a shame to hear about this place given the limited options foreigners have access to but then again is it something we here at the Seoul boards need to be more cautious when discovering a new venue? I know this defeats the whole purpose of the ISG boards but then again its always better being safe than sorry.
Am I being paranoid here? Thoughts?

that's just what i was thinking as well. it seemed like many more foreigners had been heading to belle in the last month or so. i remember the first time i went there, there was no wait at all, compare that to the last time i went and there was an hour wait. and just look how many times nara has been mentioned on here recently. some ajossi probably got mad that a bunch of wayguks were getting bbbjs from petty korean girls, so they called the cops to complain. lol!
now what the hell am i going to do with all these 5,00 won off coupons i have for belle??
anyways, i wanted to go to belle today, but because of the report by seoulseeker regarding the police raid, i decided to go to cool instead. i got there around 1 pm, i had never been there in the afternoon before so i wasn't sure how the service would differ. i went in and the guy at the door said i had to pay 75,000 won!! wtf is this all about? my korean sucks but what i got from his speech he gave me was that hanguks are charged 65,000 won and wayguks are charged 75,000 won. keep in mind this was a new guy at the door i had never seen before, and he seemed to speak no english whatsoever. can anyone confirm these prices? is this just an afternoon thing or what?
i almost turned around and walked out (which is what i should have done) but i paid the 75,000 and was led to room five. my girl was named chong sol i'd say early to mid 20's. i'm not going to bore you with the whole story, the massage was nice, she looked and smelled good and she beat my dick like it owed her money but she refused to take her top off!!! she was wearing a babydoll with a bra underneath it, and she lowered her babydoll but wouldn't take off her bra. she kept saying aniyo and poining to the door but i couldn't understand what she was saying. i could still touch her, but i shit you not, i had to squeeze my hand into her bra! is this how it is in the afternoon, are the girls more conservative or was there a raid at cool too and the girls can't get naked? anyone have any ideas?

Am I being paranoid here? Thoughts?
But still. We need to be cautious. Always just in case-as I said. Just keep some rules in your mind. Don't use your credit card & don't meet somebody else- escort ladies or whoever..who might be in trouble & don't go to some place which can be in trouble near future etc. Yes. As you guys said BELLE, NARA, COOL are getting famous here. If somebody keep his eye on here. Who knows? .
I can tell you some stories from my local Koreans. Some guys who are my coworkers. Just like my brothers. We are close. & one of escort ladies who I met before- they say they have Korean sites. Navar/ or naver & Daum- they can surf the internet there. I've heard some stories. As below.
1. Somebody got a call from the polce, the police said he used credit card in a massage shop, the police questioned him what he did there, he said he got just massage.. White lie?., police said the owner and the girl already told the truth, so he said he has to be at the police station. Finally he went to the police station. Wow about 40 people there. Waiting for their turn. Even he could see the hundreds of names on a big white board.
---Results: he got fined. But it's still a record in Korea. Be careful.
2. Kiki- escort girl's name, she works on the net posting her telephone number- got caught. Because she's stupid. Even me. If I were a bad person or the police guy. I could have called the police to let them know what she does or could have busted her. The police went to her place and took her computer- because she accept credit card. So if you need to see escort ladies on the net or new paper ads or on the street, you need to select a girl /an agency who works in safe way. It will be good for her/agency and us.
---Results; the police has her telephone records- incalls & outcalls for a year- and her case is still open. And she still works. How can she be so stupid? . Probably. She will work until the trial finishes.
thanks for the update ez. seriously, for those prices, i think the punters here need to stop visiting those places as W75k is quite steep, especially with the provider not taking even her damn bra off.
Officetel. I think it's Korean English-Konglish-
One of my friends saw a guy passing out name cards on the streets, it says in Korean "U want to see a lady in her own officetel? We guarantee. " something like that. I think some massage shops run this kind of business after they get busted. He didn't try. But he just try to call at that number just to check on. A week later. But the phone didn't work. Maybe something happened there?
The police who caught Kiki tried checking some numbers which are suspicious. He found out she works and she also sent a lady. Julia- to hotel, he got Julia's number. She is in Canada now- and called Julia, questioned what she'd done in that room, Julia denied. First time, he said she can be out of Kiki's problem. If she helps him. So Julia told everything what he needed. And later. Julia and Kiki had a big fight. Hummm.
I personally do not believe that the crackdown at belle had anything to do with a 'recent influx of foreigners' I have become friends with one of the girls who worked there. She says foreigners have been going there for a long time, the girls actually prefer foreign men to Korean men because according to them Korean men are jerks / not as sweet (No offense to any of our Korean counterparts, I have many Korean friends and hold no ill will toward any of them I am simply repeating what several of the girls there have stated).
She says that a good portion of their business particularly during the daytime were foreign English teachers in particular. What happened is something one of my male Korean friends has told me happens quite often to these businesses. A customer was not satisfied with the service he received and felt ripped off, probably a Korean man trying to obtain extras then used threats to try and get them from the girls. The girls rejected and so the man calls the police and reports the business as a means of inflicting some sort of passive-aggressive revenge against them.
Most of these establishments have some sort of arrangement with either organized crime or the police department directly. They pay protection money to them. However if a report like this is made they have no choice but to make a formal investigation and complete the paperwork. No customers were questioned to my knowledge but the employees and employers had to go to the police station and be questioned. The end result is they were made to pay a fine and some of the girls quit. The business is still operating as usual and will continue to do so. Once this sort of thing happens it is generally quite some time before it happens again so I don't think anyone really has to worry about going back there.
On a side note I agree whole heartedly that some common sense rules do apply to this sort of thing. Using a credit card or calling from your own phone is a really big mistake. If you must call I would suggest using a payphone as it can not be traced back to you and cash is a must. I would never even consider using a credit card, in fact generally speaking I prefer not to use a credit card even at restaurants and other legitimate businesses both for fears of my activities being monitored as well as fears that in the wrong hands a credit card number could be used to commit fraud. Perhaps this is paranoid to an extent but at least I never have to worry about such things. With the price of most things in Korea I have never found it difficult or troubling to carry enough cash on hand, I guess some people worry about carrying large sums of cash but I have never had a problem. You do need to be a little careful when in a crowded train though as pickpocketing is still a pretty big problem here.
Also I would like to add that while many places will still turn away or try to overcharge foreign customers the easiest way to get around that is to go in with a Korean friend who can vouch for you. Even some places which have been stated to turn away customers have accepted me when I was accompanied by a colleague and I have never paid more than a Korean native for any services. My friends have said while some places worry that seeing westerners may offend some of their customers the biggest issue is actually the language barrier. Also you have the places which have had a bad experience with some drunk army guy or something going in there and causing a problem. I find as long as you are polite, speak at least basic Korean phrases and treat both the staff and the girls with respect you will become a valued customer.
So remember, play safe and play nice, please don't ruin it for the rest of us.
She kept saying aniyo and poining to the door but I couldn't understand what she was saying. I could still touch her, but I shit you not, I had to squeeze my hand into her bra! My guess is she was trying to say if you don't like it you can leave. FYI if you are not satisfied you have a few minutes with the girl to decide and you can request a refund. They will provide one to you or in some cases they may even offer you another girl as they do not want to lose a customer. Probably she was just uncomfortable with you personally and didn't want to do it. She may be a new girl or just a prissy one. The service always changes between girls as it really is at their digression how far they will go with a given customer.
Really a shame to hear this though, I was considering checking out cool for a while now but the fact it was only a HJ kinda turned me off to it, if they overcharge and some of the girls won't even take their top off I have absolutely no desire what so ever to do business with them.
I wish someone in here would check out some of the officetel setups, I'm pretty sure there is at least one such setup least a third of the officetel buildings in Kangnam/Yeoksam. There are always cards on the street advertising full service from 100, 000 Won, some even have a 20, 000 won off your first visit coupon. I have seen working girls regularly in a few buildings here. My own building in fact has a large number of them living in it but I think most of them actually work at business clubs (room salons) in the area. That is another thing that would be nice to check out but the prices are a little rich for my blood atm and you can't fly solo to a place like that.
Happy Hunting!

Well, I would like to visit a Room Salon at least once while I am here, just to see what they are like and add it to my mongering résumé. I don't really know anyone here that would be willing to go with me, so if anyone on this board wants to get together and check one out, maybe we can put a group together and go. If anyone reading this might be interested, PM me.

service varies from girl to girl. i was going there last year when the price was still 65, 000. i went 4 times, and 3 of the 4 were amazingly good with cute girls that were very open to touching and kissing with tops off. i only had 1 girl there that was a bit prudish and apparently put off by me. she had the top down, but she wouldn't let me kiss her. also, she just had a shitty attitude. on the opposite end of the spectrum, the last time i went there i ended up getting a bbbj from the girl for a few minutes and some seriously hardcore makeout/humping action. i didn't penetrate because it was over her panties, but it could have easily happened. i controlled myself due to the lack of protection.
