My Two Cents.
You can find a hotel in el centro. There are plenty and that puts you within walking distances from casas for day time and also strip clubs for night time. All you need is to print out the map and go on casa run.
If you only have 2-5 days, that is what I recommend.

Colombia keeps winning in the FIFA World Cup, beating the Suarez-less Uruguay team 2-0 today. Rodriguez is the hero with 2 gooooals. The announcer on the radio said they were celebrating in Bogota. Brazil is next, should be a good match.

I consider them stronger and more apt for the last round than both Brasil and Colombia.
Germany is both individually and as a team considerded superstrong.
France has been re-born and now, finally, plays according to it's normal high standard.
Colombia will not survive the Brasil match.
Argentina will fall against tuff Belgium or even harder Holland. Believe me!
France or Germany will immediately stop a Brasilian team that, considered the hitherto opponentes formal mediocre strengths, not works as a team, in sharp contrast to Germany, who's play flow like Beethoven music.
Western European teams knocked out so far in the World Cup: Portugal, Spain, England, and Italy. Who will be next? I still think its Brazil as the team to beat. They have one big plus; home field advantage. Its hard for other teams to overcome that.

There 4 big strikers are not great on defense.
Brasil will lose to Colombia.
Do not dismiss the team-oriented lack of superstars US team.

If you have money![/QUOTE]A couple of years ago I asked a waiter in a Tijuana Restaurant to compare living in Tijuana to living in the bay area where he grew up. He was 35 or so and he moved from the bay area to Tijuana 15 years prior.
He said the money making is better in the US and the living is better in Tijuana. I think he had a few kids and probably lived well away from the zona. For me there is an honesty I feel in other countries that I don't feel anymore in my own country.
I have childhood friends that have left the USA to live else where in peace. Far far away from the maddening March of political correctness and the manipulation of reality by the media and special interest groups.
The US is my home but it has truly lost it's way imo. It's not easy for me to stomach my hometown on a daily basis. When I cross the border, Tijuana reminds me of my hometown in a simpler time because of it's blue collar roots and the freedom the individual has there.
For me I'll retire (part time) in a country run by men like my country used to be. That's the ideal if you enjoy personal freedom, far away from big brother and the nanny government.
One thing I've noticed (over the years) is that countries and high schools have a Rah Rah mentality. We're the greatest!
In my country women have forgotten their way. They have it all now, power, money, a majority vote, and power over men. They have won the battle of the sexes.
Eventually this will come back to haunt them. IMO.

I've been advised that a USA Programmed and subscribed Direct T. V. Box will receive the programming in Colombia. Anyone have an ideas on how to get Yankee programming?
