Bangkok Reports

I came to Thailand on a two week holiday. I posted my bad experience when trying to enter Crazy Horse so I decided to do all my hunting at beer complexes, beer bars. And clubs. I did pick one up at the mall so wanted to try Nana and a gogo. I followed three Asian guy into Twister which had a nice line up. I had three Asian guys at the table next to me and one Asian sat at the table with me who was a cool guy. He tried to let me know how things go in the club.

I had my eye on the thickest big booty chick on stage but she never looked at me. When the girls came off stage 6 girls went right for the three Asians and when I look next to me the Asian at my table had three sitting on the right of him. These guy on both sides of me was feeling these girls up and down an did not buy any lady drink and had there one drink in front of them they were not drinking. I was on my third drinking when I looked up the thick one came over and started rubbing her butt on me. I bought her and her friend a lady drink then bought the thick one three more after that. The three Asian guys left with those three full beers still on the table and the Asian guy sitting with me moved to the couch so he could continue to feel his girl up an down. I noticed he never touch the drink and I never saw the girl with a lady drink.

I decided to barfine my girl which was 1000 barfine 3000St 1250 drinks and 350 room. BBBJ 7/10 FS 7/10 DFK yes. I do understand why the Asian get the most attention in the gogo because that's the greatest percentage of customers in there and bars can't afford to get a bad review with them unless you are a Aussie bar. I really enjoyed my trip and planning to return.

It's doubled the price of pussy in Argentina in 5 years and now in Medellin chicks are asking for 3 X the house fee to do EXACTLY the same shit that two years ago they were doing for the house fee.

I read these reports and I'm like "fuck, stop doing that" because every time they do that tip becomes a part of the price for the next guy. Then when they come back in two years they are like "damn it got expensive here. " It's like going to buy a car and the sales guy says "yeah that car costs 40,000 bucks" and they say "but would you take 50,000 for it?

Agreed, it's not about the money I can afford 200 baht as well but the money becomes cumulative over time, your 200 baht. We have guys on different forums who used to say "the standard price for pussy the world over is 100 bucks" and now they say "the standard price for pussy the world over is 200 bucks" and I'm like if gas costs 2.20 in the US but 5.50 in Spain the next time you fill up your car will you insist on paying the average price for some other place?

What it really is, is the girls look, see a stupid falang that is afraid of women, so they scream "you pay me 5000 baht!!!!" and the guy says "ok." Then they have such contempt for them they give them shitty service, blame him for the bad time and the guy gives them MORE money to go away.

You never know when it will end because they come sequentially and you don't know the sequence. You are thinking with the little head. I got sucked into this once on Cowboy. Another time I tipped mama and refused some others, not sure if my cheapness degraded her performance in the room. Haven't done this enough to say I have a normal practice for this situation.

There are other times when I think how much I have in my life and how little they have. A few baht tip means something real to them, but it took me about 1 minute to earn in USA. Then I remind myself that I don't want to be part of increasing the overall Thailand vacation pricing.

I am not consistent with my tipping.[/QUOTE]The rare times I have tipped a mamasan or bought one a drink has been because I either genuinely appreciated where she led me in terms of bringing a girl to me the previous time or I wanted to chat with her (buying her a LD) or, as you mentioned, when the girl seemed to really want me to. And in the latter case, I don't think I ever did it other than with a girl I'd been with before. I don't usually find most girls behaving like they give a damn whether I buy the insistent mamasan a drink or give her a tip. Most of the time they just sit there with a vague smile on their face and leave it up to me to say yes or no. And I say no except for the 2-3 exceptions I mentioned.

On tipping in Thailand in general; for P4 P activities I sometimes tip for "taxi fare" at 100 baht or less, but not if I feel I already paid her generously and usually not unless she asks for it. Of course, if she asks for a tip after I have already paid her generously I will probably never take her again unless she really rocked my world.

I don't know if anyone considers an Extra Service "surcharge" to be a tip, but I am fine with adding anywhere from 500-1000 baht above the going rate, depending on how hot I am for the girl, as a leg opener for what I consider a REAL GFE. I am talking about the specific activity kind of REAL GFE you will not find listed on any Escort profile, MP menu, etc. I could give it as a tip afterwards if there was any chance that I could finish with or without coverage anyway. But I cannot. Therefore, it is negotiated beforehand along with whatever particulars must be explained and not given afterwards as a tip because I want to know before I am about to enter Heaven's Gate that all things will not come to a sudden halt at that moment in order to have a lengthy discussion about condoms, disease, death, 1000 nuns and babies being eaten by rats and the end of humanity as we know it.

In BJ Bars, I will usually leave small change in the folder for the cashier and hand the girl an additional 100-200 baht if she was truly sweet about her treatment of me.

Tipping elsewhere; In Thai restaurants I will leave small change from a check bin, less than 10-15 baht. If no small change is left, I will not dig in to come up with something unless I just want to unload a pocketful of single baht coins. However, if it is a Western restaurant where the staff must and actually does know what the word "ketchup" means, what "scrambled eggs" are, the meaning of burger "no onions" and so on, I will tip about 10% or so. The reason being this establishment must hire a "skilled" staff who knows some English and is capable and interested in learning about menu items they might never have heard of before. They cannot just hire the next Thai person off the street. So, whoever gets that tip or shares it had to make an extra effort to make that happen.

Taxi drivers I will tip only if it is easier to round up to the next whole coin I've got in my pocket. Sometimes, when the girl I am with has struck up a conversation with the taxi driver and, lo and behold, it turns out they are long lost cousins from the same Northern province (haha), she will want me to tip the guy another 20 baht note or something. I don't like it, but will do it rather than have a confrontation about it in the back seat of a taxi.

Speaking of tipping, I had one of the waitresses who maintained the queue of guys on the list to play billiards ask me for a drink. I refused that. No surprise, my name never came to the front of the queue to play billiards.

Funny! I recently booked a massage at one of the massage places I frequent. My favourite girls were not working. One of my rejects happens to be one of the few English speakers so she said a very pretty young one will be available at the appointed time. At the appointed time, neither the appointment nor a very pretty one were there!

I didn't see those other guys buying her drinks either though, so I'm not sure what was going on with that. I think it's just because she specifically asked me to buy her one and I declined. Since I go in there often and joke around with the entire staff and throw money around like an idiot often, I think she felt comfortable asking me and got her feelings hurt when I didn't agree to the drink.

But assuming the server does get to keep it when you hand it to them, it is interesting to me that, for the most part, servers in Thailand venues where tipping is commonly done don't seem to care whether you leave it in the tray/book or hand it to them personally. I mean, they might seem pleased that you acknowledged them personally or made the effort, but don't seem to send any signals for a preference one way or the other over how or if you leave a tip.

They also don't seem to care if another server who hasn't even looked your way all night is the one who collects the bill and, therefore, MIGHT get a tip handed to them instead of the one who was circling back and forth with your drinks over the past 2 hours. So in those cases, either all tip money goes to the house or all tip money goes into a common kitty for all the servers to share. It is puzzling sometimes.

Honestly, I don't care to have a Thai waitress have "power at any level" over me, and "respect" is earned.

Personally, I'd just ignore her as OP did or go to another venue.
