King's Castle 1 is at a temporary location around the corner for the next 2 weeks while their original bar is under renovation. The temporary location is likely one of the best set ups I have seen in a gogo bar. I counted 60 girls at 10 pm. KC1 is a great place to have fun. Girls are young, fairly hands on, many are decent looking, but most importantly, they all have great attitudes at Kc1. If you are in bkk over the next couple of weeks check out the temporary location. A shame kc1 can't stay there permanently.

I have only been to Bangkok a couple of times. My favorite it to go to the beer garden, and find a nice, willing girl there. Good to be able to see them first, and chat with them,. Likely won't find any magical stunners, but I always find some nice Thai girl who wants to have a good time.

That said, inflation and years and years of incessant sex tourism has taken its toll on the most popular destinations. Quite difficult to get any quality for much under 100 these days, especially in a place like BKK, where standard living expenses have skyrocketed over the last 20 years for anyone living there. (places like Rio de Janeiro and Bangkok are a good barometer, where in the last 20 years prices have doubled due to exchange rate, inflation and market demand) In most places the days of 50 are long gone, best to adjust to the new normal of something around 75-80, if the triple digit fault line bothers you as much as it bothers me.

IMO at the $75 line she best option is a two hour Tulip or Snow White session for 2,300 baht.

Last time I stayed at the Nana Hotel there were totally acceptable ladies around the pool area who gladly went to your room for 1,000 baht. Found (easy) money for them, and once you were an established customer they would approach you on a regular basis looking for the same deal.

Well, not for those who have the power to negotiate. It's all about leverage, control. True, the "walk-in" base price or what people might call "market" price is about 3000 baht now in Bangkok for decent looks, minimum. That's for first time customers, guys who can't negotiate, and most working girls already know they can get someone else for that price at least that night. Why lose money by saying yes to less right? Well, that's where NEGOTIATION comes in. If you can lead them to believe something that makes up for the X baht in value that they will have to take less that night, then they will say yes.

Things to get them to agree to lower.

- (when they already know that they can have someone else for 3000 baht that night): That you like them a lot and are interested in repeat business (need to point out that you will be there for awhile, at least a month). This helps lead them on into thinking that they can sucker you in as a sponsor too, so you'll perk their interest. Hookers are drawn to emotionally available customer like flies to shit.

-Are at your best behavior / charm. The more that they can empathize with you (and let's be honest, foreign hookers have almost no ability to empathize with their foreign customers due to cultural disparity for starters). But if you appear to respect them (this is important, they will quickly grow to gain contempt over you if you reject them or are harsh / crude / brass during your negotiations), don't appear crazy, do appear clean, they will be interested in working with you at a lower price. They'll be able to get over developing feelings of contempt that would otherwise come out via remarks "oh so you think I'm a cheap girl. ".

-Try to use face saving excuse to sell your lower offer. Don't tell them that they are worth 2000 or whatever baht to you. Just tell them that you want to see them a lot more and 2000 baht is better. Kind of like, kiss their ass just a bit.

For reference, I found a looker (3800 baht normally) that I liked. So I see her at her work, then she see's me for "free" at my condo a day or 2 later. All because I wouldn't see her anymore unless she could bring the price down (she couldn't do this at her work, loss of face / impossible) and she didn't want to loose a repeat customer. These women are certainly willing to work for less, and I do think 1500-2000 baht in BKK and 1 k in Pattaya for sure are the real minimums. Pattaya is much cheaper in terms of freelancers, can easily get 1 k ST at so many places there without even having to go through all that above negotiation, but the women who work in Pattaya and are very looking is rather slim pickings.

Those are ever changing and ever present factors. I was speaking very "generally", but the "general" is true and largely conforms to the cost of living in said city. My main 2 barometers are / were Bangkok and Rio, where the price of living has skyrocketed over the last several decades and the prices for sexual services have roughly kept up. (as they would need to).

Streetwalkers I don't particularly / didn't particularly consider, as those would be no more than 20 usd in the old days. Neither do I consider quickies / short times in low end hotels like Nana.

Generally speaking, I completely agree with Parkville. If you are a local or regular visitor, you can agree on a different arrangement. Was speaking from a once a year tourist kind of perspective.

Shock39 was completely dead when dropped in (admittedly it was late and perhaps on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (but why would that matter in a Buddhist country? Some drunk young farangs only.

Mixx was "ok" - but I also had the sense that it's on a downward slope. I always felt it was the home of the over-dressed, over made up and the overly charging (heard going rate was 4 K several years ago, no way it has come down).

Levels was a live party on a weekend evening. Never approached what I thought were the FL'ers in there. As there were many non working people there also, but perhaps lacked the boldness and balls to actually talk to anyone. Saw one girl I liked, and she seemed to be taken.
