I only got 1 pop, and a fairly workmanlike one at that. And then got hit with the tip coupon, with check boxes for 50K, 100K, 200K ... It was 90 minutes. Actually had a much better time with a girl in Hotel Travel, grabbable ass and hair down to her waist, who gave me an encore HJ without me having to ask. That was for something like 350K. By the way, my Alexis girl told me that she lives near Sparks Hotel on Manga Besar, which is around the corner from Hotel Travel. Hotel Travel is much better and nicer. The whole atmosphere is much better also the girls are hotter. You can choose your girl and the mamasan gives you an adv. The girls are sitting in a couch area and they are not allowed to approach you only if the mamasan calls them. At Kartika at least 4-5 girls already approached me on my way to the bar. My regular girl at hotel Travel was already waiting for me. Damage 300 k plus tip for 2 shots and a very nice session.

Every room has a shower, A/C, big double bed and also a TV.
Every girl does BBj, Daty and kissing is also no problem. If you are a regular visitor and the girl knows you then sometimes even CIM and anal is possible (but normally not).

Wow, a good question.

My experience in Indonesia is that a cash donation (i.e. bribe) can always help when one is confronted by police in a situation that's not truly criminal, such as a traffic stop or a spa bust. Most cops would rather let a foreigner go than go through the bother of busting them, plus they are underpaid and would prefer the money anyway.

It might cost you up to 500,000 rupiah (US $50) to have the cop let you walk away from a massage parlor raid, but that's better for you than getting arrested.

Any thoughts from my fellow Seniors - Menteng? bulai69? Smoothy? et al...

P.S. I'm adding this afterwards - the above scenario is one more reason why one shouldn't walk around town with a lot of money in their pockets. If you're inside a place like Stadium, and it gets busted, the cops would probably want whatever is left in your wallet as a bribe to let you go. So if you have 500,000 rupiah, then, then that's what they'd get, but if you have 2 or 3 million, you risk losing all of it for the cops to let you go.

What made me add this comment was that I've just remembered a situation I was in nearly 20 years ago in a corrupt African country, where I was someplace that got busted and I had to empty my wallet (which had $175 in it) in order to be let go. Since then, I've always walked around with minimal cash - safer that way.

But the soapy massage was good and Neneh has a good attitude.

Your figure of 500K Rups is correct, and as you said they really don't want the publicity or paperwork of processing a foreigner. Try to do it with a bit of subtleness though!

Places like Hotel Travel, Kartika and the parlors around it, Malioboro (more upscale) on Galan Mada, the massage floor at Stadium are all open for business at least from the afternoon.

Hotel Travel is a nicer building for sure. It also has better looking girls. However, in my experience, the girls at Kartika provide far better service than the girls at Hotel Travel.

Sound advice! I don't think there's much to be added.

The only time I had to pay was when I walked through a glass door at Pasaraya Grande. There was no sign that the door could not be used. (No first-aid kit either.) I was thinking of sueing the management for not having tempered glass like demanded by the law and the lack of a warning to avoid that particular door. But, the head of the security refered to the outcome of a recent trial of a murder in the bar of the Hilton hotel by a son of an ex army general. So, I paid to avoid more costs. :(

In Jakata prior to Christmas tried Hotel Travel selected a nice appearence girl from the good choices availiable In room very dissapointed so much not on menu including kissing ok but uninspiring finish. If I return will check what is on the menu before booking Took taxi to what I believe to be block M area a bit early friendly reception no stock few customers returned to same street about 9 pm visited Oscars got impression ladies not keen to go for LT possibly more interested in selling drinks I would like to go back there if some brothers can advise if I was in fact at block M and some names if possible of ladies in Oscars who are recomended for LT momasan allthough friendly was not very helpfull to advise on this matter pleasant enough evening but could be improved if no need to discuss details with all staff thanks all help and advice.

Hi, well by far more choice of girls at Top Gun, Mybar and Ds place, in that order but 11 pm is about the earliest these days and in reality it is around 1 am before the evenings full selection is on show. if you are from usa its 18 (thanks the us government for that).

act like you know what you are doing and have been there before and you won't have problems with girls, prices, pics and cabs.

this is true for almost any mongering destination in se asia.
