Apartments in Fortaleza for 20 reais?
Its always been my choice to rent any apartment for short term (2-3days).
Lucky Liucio. I never meet anybody interested renting out an apartment for 2 days.
Sperto, $R50 is very high per night.
I never paid that even in high season.
I pay in the low 20's all time.
Lucky Liucio.
If you rent an nice wellfurnished 2-room apartment, from an agency, in a decent edifício in Iracema during high-season, for a short-term stay, they will ask you for at least 50 reais. Renting directly from the proprietor will get you a lower price.
Renting an more simple apartment can get you a rate of 35 reais for a short-term stay in high-season.
A rate of 20 reais is just pure bulls**t.
I pay in the low 20's all time... I paid $18/night for a one bedroom... I paid $US21/per night for the upgrade.
You paid 18 reais and 21 US$ more for the upgrade, per night. You call that 20 reais? Get yourself a calculator.

But they are the tourist economy up there.
They R the BIG spending EURO's.
So the Italians are the tourist economy spending the big money in Fortaleza? What about all the Dutch, Swiss, Germans, Scandinavians and the brazilian tourists? They don't spend any money in Fortaleza?
