i spent 3 nights in helsinki, and visited the talked-about soho club late on friday night. i must say i was extremely disappointed. i was expecting something like the now defunct river palace in kiev. you can read the reports, but rp was 3 decks full of flirty, gorgeous, miniskirted 20-year-young beauties in high heels, ready to chat with you at the slightest sign of interest. anyway, soho was very small, with just a bar and a small dance floor. there were also a couple of side rooms, which were mostly empty. the dance floor was to the side and mostly empty (no girl will dance if nobody is looking, even in regular bars) and people just walked around the bar and tried to make some contact.
anyway, the girls were mostly way past their prime. there was perhaps 20 or 30, most of which were way past 30. i would say "milfs", but, in reality, you would not like to fuck most of them. i counted about 2 or 3 under 25, and a total of perhaps 5 that i would have fucked, even for free. they were nicely dressed, but nothing exceptional, just elegant knee-length dresses, with only one miniskirt in sight. if i wanted to see a bunch of 30+ year-olds in dresses, i would just stay at the office. really, they were way past their prime, most of them were mum, sometimes several times over. you could see stretch marks on some breasts, and several large bellies. it was terrible! i should also mention that they ask and seem to expect to get 200 euro. a couple of them started their "negotiation" at 150 euro, but in either case, they refused to budge. and in most cases there was no kissing, no oral (on her) and oral on you with a condom. they were adamant.

so, in summary, soho is terrible! avoid at all costs. just try your luck at one of the many bars rep001tered all over the centre. i am sure if you are willing to drop 100-200 euro buying drinks to some lucky student, she will be very grateful. the 2 other nights, i just tried the non-pro scene, and was relatively successful, with one goal and several shots on net (a little partial action and phone numbers which i had no time to fully exploit until i return to the city).
