As someone is currently in Istanbul could u please let us know if Seranda is still closed? What's the going rate in the area? Has the going rate in Bacardi gone down yet as rich Turks have taken most of the girls down to south to the seaside increasing the competition in Istanbul if u've been there recently?

For the average girls in Bacardi you should give it a hard try to settle for as low as $120 for the night though.The trick for persuading is to go slowly for it and act at thejust right moment.

I definitely agree with you on Seranda. I also have been to Irmak a few times.

Last winter, one afternoon I met the most beautiful girl I ever had in Istanbul. It was as early as 3pm, however, having said this, I generally find the selection at Irmak in the afternoons below par. Irmak has three different sections. As far as I know, in during the day only the little restaurant is open. Then there is another cafe kind of place which opens in the evening. Finally, they have the disco which start to get going around 11pm. In the disco you can see girls dancing, which is an advantage, so I usually go upstairs. But then again some guys hang out downstairs in the cafe. Where do you usually hang out? Can you compare cafe vs disco?

On the first floor in Irmak there's live Turkish music at nights and the second floor is the disco section.I've always been talking about the disco part.

I have been reading the archieves of the past since quite a while now. no wonder I found no current info in the archieves. I wanted to share my experiences with the group since I believe I had a rough picture of the Istanbul scenery for the beginner.

First, local expert is quite right indeed. even if you speak Istanbul Turkish, and be a native you can get fucked up in the scene pretty fast.

Having been encountered by guys in street asked wether we needed a girl a few times, whilst I was residing in Istanbul, I read quite a few stories of bars in Taksim you will get charged ridiculous amounts.

Previous experience with a local pimp named Alex also got ruined. The guy thought I was a cop or stg and first arranged a meeting and fucked up everything, before I left Istanbul for good.

Anyway on my summer vacation in July 2003, when I paid a visit to the Turkish Liason office of the company I work for, I asked the guys where to check out for somefun. The only suggestion made to me was Bacardi, and having read a few good lines on it, I took off.

It was a Thursday night or stg, and I got in Bacardi. In July 2003 A Dollar was about 1.3 million liras, and as far as I can understand this was too low for the locals. (too bad I earn in dollars). I got in through stairs and 40-60 girls were dancing. without knowing much I only had 300-350 dollars with me and no cards. (Knowing that in US and EU they find a way of overcharging a card).

At Bacardi Scene, the first blonde asked for 250 dollars for the night, then there was a second girl who asked for 150 for a time (what the hell is that) and finally third girl asked for 150 for the night. (I must admit I called the waiter at the end telling him that I have not more cash to pay the bill for another girl and this third girl should be below 200 or I am to leave immediately).

The part that bothered me was that the whole scene was set up and the taxi on the way overcharged me *like 20 USD for a distance of a few meters*. Despite agreement for overnight the Ukranian woman *around 30* left at 4:00 AM , (boring but ok).

Every body in the cycle knows you are vulnerable asks for any small tip they can get. and even if you speak perfect language etc. does not matter.

Ok here s my input so far. Sharing numbers is good in this database since a girl would be a lot cheaper without the whole scenery and cycle of people. and just the girl.

I think not knowing the outgoing prices may cause you a lot of trouble.Even $2 would be too high for the taxi and people trying to harass you doesn't necessarily mean you've gotto obey.Not knowing the language is not a disadvantage,on the contrary it gives you the benefit of unnecessary communication and arguments.
The trick is to make people believe you know the prices pretty well and you're not willing to be decieved in any way.Even if you don't know anything,pretend to go straight for the min like one third of the first quoted figure.
By reference of the location of Bacardi,Irmak is just 50m inside from the other side across the street past the traffic lights just in front of the entrance of Bacardi(1min of walking)
Serenda,on the other hand,is located on the opposite side,so you've gotto walk past the front door of Bacardi past McDonald's and 7up,take the right turn just after the police station and walk straight ahead without any turn past a few streets for about 200m till the end of the road and you'll see Serenda as the last building on the left just before the steep stairs in front of you.(5min of walking)

As you said Bacardi comes ridicously expensive at the end of the day comparing to Seranda. I always go for Seranda because of less expenses. Girls in Bacardi quote quite highly which keeps them okay for a longer while than girls in Seranda even if they don't have any job everyday. What I noticed about girls, Romanian or Moldovan girls quote less than Russian, Ukranians most of the time.

You have got to search detaily and find desperate ones, it will cost you in Bacardi but not in Seranda. In Seranda you can talk to girls directly with no extra cost on the dance floor and take them to upstairs which is the best thing I like with Seranda. But it used have very forceful, oppressive atmosphere in there that reminds me my service days in army. Waiters are like assigned to destroy your defence by their look in to your eye and at your drink, kind of asking ''When the **** are you gonna finish your drink so I'll serve the next one?''. Funny enough, they didn't charge me any peny at my last visit though and I was very suprised. I think this is because I asked something non-alcoholic and I left 10 mil. for tips.

But if it has got better from this respect these days as Vegamars says I can't wait to visit there again.

I was in Serenda again on Saturday night. This time it was much more crowded, not just because it was a Saturday night but also the beginning of the month.

Most guys just sit at the table in groups just looking around, which means they don't have any intention or chance of picking up girls. It's also apparent from the fact that the hotel is mostly empty and you don't wait at all after checking in.

The interesting thing is that there are also some good looking girls who are there only for sitting at the tables and having drinks.
