Man, I just can't wait to get to FKK's . Its every mongers dream :). Yep, Filipinas are one of a kind. They are a different breed. They know how to treat a man. :). Have you tried Dateinasia.com site, there are plenty of regular girls who are very friendly and would do anything to make you happy without expecting much in return. They are game for a good time.

Anyways, no girls are free lunch, we spend, but i never had any bad moments with regular girls. If you plan to stay in Cebu for a month or two....try dating sites, get some numbers and meet up...you will really have amazing times with them.

If possible try Arena and Jaguar bars in Cebu, they are on the expensive side, but the girls are the best in Cebu...model types...You can also get some Korean girls...ask the mamasan...you can also hook up with bar girls in Juliana after 3 AM. Don't pay bar fine there, its around 4 to 6k..ask their numbers and agree for a late meet up in Juliana or any other place.

Cebu Pacific is not bad. Some people have complained about it being delayed but, I have yet to experience any delays. They use to not charge for the snacks on the plane but, now you do have to pay. The thing you have to know though is that Cebu Pacific max weight is 33lbs(15kg) on the luggage. If you exceed the weight, they will charge 100 pesos per kg which is over $2 per 2.2lbs of excess weight. If you book online, they have an option to allow you to pay for additional weight on the luggage. I think it was $9-$10 for an additional 15lbs more. This would still be cheaper than paying 100 pesos/kg. So, if you know your luggage will weigh more than 50lbs (22.7kg) then you should consider it.

It was April a couple of years ago and Thai Internatioanal flight to BKK was overbooked due to a fair in Manila.

I tried to book on Cebu Pacific online but my credit cards wouldn't go through. I later found out that the airline was banned from many major credit cards due to some employee fraud. Anyway I called from Angeles City their call center and made a same day booking on MNL-BKK fkight for about 180 euros using one of my credit cards.

At the airport I was given finally a seat on Thai leaving about an hour earlier without bothering to cancell my flight with Cebu Pacific.

After the no show charges they were supposed to credit my account with 120 euros. It took them one year and two e-mails and three telephone calls from me in order to do it.

They keep sending me advance info for their sales and I might use them in the future. For the time being I am using Airasia. Very well organised but they only fly to AC from Kuala Lumpur.

My real estate agent also echoed that Parklane is very noisy both inside and out at the moment. If you sleep in or are a light sleeper, it should be avoided. Nobody here has yet to recommend Crown Regency which is in the same category and a bit cheaper via online websites.

Don't see what all the hemming and hawing is concerning accommodations in Cebu. The city is loaded with good places to stay in great locations. It is high time to start a 'Cebu Hotels' thread to alleviate all the hotel chatter.

Have to agree that St. Moritz is a gem that gets no props here! Only a few minute walk from Ayala Center, it is a very clean, well run German owned hotel with rooms around 2000 php. (Dark Vader take note)

GGBL,

Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific both offer several different price levels and seat options. Check the fare rules closely for the baggage allowance on each ticket before you book. Sometimes the mid-level ticket is only a few hundred Pesos more but it gives you an additional 5kg baggage allowance.

Also on smaller routes such as Cebu-Ozamiz or Cebu-CDO the airlines mostly use smaller Q400 turbo-prop planes and they make sure to weigh everything including each pax and you will be charged for additional baggage weight.

IMHO do not purchase the extra baggage allowance online, it's pretty much a waste. I have been lucky a few times when I flirted with the check-in attendant on the Manila-Cebu flights and she must have thought I was a handsum man and did not charge me for the extra weight. :D

Sounds like you are talking about the Jazz & Blues Club. It is a small, intimate, nicely appointed place that also serves food. Their house band is pleasant enough, not too loud and plays a good variety of music. They employ a few 'professional' dancers both men and women that motivate the patrons and also act as dance partners. Wanted to test my dancing skills last time I was there but my 'date' stayed glued to her seat after seeing the level of expertise exhibited on the dance floor!

PL was slightly noisy at certain times during the day when I was there last week, outside was not at all and as I noted earlier get an even numbered room, no issues with noise and I am a light sleeper, thought the presence of a nice Cebuana in my bed tends to have me focused....:)

St Moritz - never heard but will now check it out as I like to be close to Ayala, but I need (like some others) excellent wifi/internet in the room for work purposes as I cant sit in lobbies, coffee shops and do work stuff unfortunately..a pain but I have to live with this restriction

I have been in Makati, Ermita and AC many times. Cebu is clean and hassle free. I am staying in Marriott and hunting in Ayala Mall. I hooked up with a freebee 10. Wow, I have a story to tell to my buddies back in Seattle.

Thanks to guys who have a tip on this forum regarding to DIA. It is a real gem to find some ladies. I had another freebee today lunch time. She literally dragged me into the room. FYI, I am not a very good looking guy but a cool, smooth operator.

Guys, if you will come down to PH, you need to do some groundwork in DIA. You will amazed what you may end up with.

It looks like I will be in Cebu for two nights this month, 17th and 18th visiting a gal friend. She is asking me to stay at the Days Hotel on Mactan near the airport as it is also very near her place and she is not able to be out at night. From the website, the hotel doesn't look too appealing, any other viable options near there?

Also, can anyone suggest bars, restaurants, etc. on Mactan for the evenings I will be there. I know it is not that convenient to get into the center of the city for evening bar hopping from Mactan, and then back by taxi late at night, but is it actually impossible? All info much appreciated!

Never try condo rent ads on craigslist, lots of nigerian scammer there using very tricky sales pitch. Go to local sites like olx or adpost search google "cebu rent "and contact some agents by mail and tell your requirements.

There are also individual listings by owners, but you may not be satisfied with the home and go from one home to another.

You don't pay anything to the agent, once you get a condo, the owner pays half the one month rent....you only pay for the taxi fare or gas if he takes you on his vehicle.

Man, but i doubt anyone would give just one month condo, but there are some condos that advertise for monthly rental, but they very expensive or you can get good deals on some hotels.
