Did you check with Mery Salence for an apt.? Did Juan have any 2 bdrms available (he'll rent to one person for a rate less than two people while locking the door to one of the bedrooms)? If you haven't explored those two options, I'd try those first (and qucikly) before packin' up and headin' to Sunny Isles.

Good advice, never rented from Mery but heard nothing but good things.

The last part of what you said is a big issue in Colombia. I always hate to say it but if the girl doesnt want to be with a guy, she will definitely quote them a high price, which is a kick to the ego. If he does decide to pay it, it will probably not be a gfe session. I always try to pick a girl that shows interest in me and it has always worked. I tell my buddys this all the time. Dont just think you can go in there and pick the best looking girl and have a great time. You have to try to establish some kind of chemistry.
I have also seen girls tell guys flat out no. Which is a real kick in the balls for the guy, but in essence she did the guy a favor, because the session would have been bad. This is why I love Colombia and have had great times the girls are not so desparate that there just going to go with anyone, I like this and I like the mentality of Colombia women. I have always done well there and total GFE.

Not certain where you got the 500K amount from my report. The two girls I asked both wanted $250k for two hours and would not budge off that price and that appeared to be the going rate based on other conversations at ELEKTRA. However, I was a bit amused about another response from a punter who says he hates to ask about the number of pops, what they will do, etc. Etc. I have to agree that asking these questions can kill the mood so to speak. Unfortunately, if you don't ask, then you are putting yourself at risk for a low grade or low value experience as my report so amply demonstrated.

Like I mentioned about my Cali friend in a prior report, she just gave the vibe that anything goes and that turned out to be true. You really have to use some intuition to determine how the experience might be. With that girl, I really did not have to ask anything, I pretty much knew that I would have a good time. However, with a lot of these girls, they throw off the attitude that they are 'too cool for school'. It's a real crapshoot. Your damned if you ask and damned if you don't.

I should note that I am an older guy, which may explain part of my difficulty with the younger gals. Unlike Asia, not all the girls are into older guys but I don't think that had anything to do with the prices they were tossing out. It seems to be the norm at LDV.

Mostly lurker here. Mongered Col since 2001. Been here 2 nights in Ctg. Went to LDV last 2 nights Dec. 8-9 2010.

These are prices quotes from girls in Ldv from 6 mongers, in COP pesos.

Monger 1. 400, 300, 300, 300k.

Monger 2. 300, 300, 250, 200k (1*). Accepted 200k offer with a 3 time repeat girl for TLN.

Monger 3 (me).300, 300, 200 (2*). Declined 200k offer for 1 hr.

Monger's 4-6. 300, 200, 100 (3*). Accepted 100k offer for 1+ hr at 5:30 in am.

(* Mongs 4-6 are 3 guys in their early 30's, blonde hair, blue eyes, good shape. Every Col girls fantasy.)

Summary: Majority of time Ldv girls will ask 300k+ to start, and won't go lower than 200 for any time frame.

You will have to negotiate every fking thing prior to leaving the bar,

Great report as that collaborates my experiences, however, you have provided a greater statistical sample to back up my assessment. Also, I have to believe based on my two experiences with LDV chicas that you better make certain that you get everything you are expecting prior to returning to your hotel. My first trip to Ctg was in 2001, I had great time, made friends that live here and mongers passing through.

Back then I could recommend it as a good monger destination.

I no longer recommend it. ESPECIALLY if your a newbie / rookie / basic Spanish.

LDV is joke now. I gave up there when I had 2 different girls actually turn their backs on me in the middle of conversation when I did'nt immediatedly say "Yes I want you". Most the girls are standing firm at 200k for 1hr.

300-500 for TLN. (No I'm not kidding, and yes this is the feedback from other mongers here also)

Worse, another monger said he did strike deal with one he thought he had a good vibe going.

They agreed on a price (150k for 2hrs) , so he danced, kissed, groped, and bought lotsa drinks in the mood for.

The fun coming. Later he said "ready?" and she said "Yes, for 300k for 1 hr."

Street action was ok, but 1 of my 2 picks, a waste of time lying about either her age or intentions when she stated she had a cedula and suddenly could not produce it at the hotel lobby.

Tried 3 different latinamericancupid girls for dates. All 3 no shows, only 1 called to say sorry.

If you don't want to take my word for it that things keep getting worse. 2 people I know here who somewhat like us mongers for business, and have lived here since the early 80's, (not working girls, but apartment renters, ground support. 1man-1woman). Told me my 1st day here." the girls are getting really bad."

I appreciate your report and realize that most women will try to get as much as possible, but I was in Cartagena 6 times in 2010 and had great times and great women. Well, thats probably the difference, I didn't start going till 2 years ago, so as all places and prices, I am sure things have changed. Yes I was in Sosua last week and had a great time, but nothing compared to my trips to Colombia. The Colombian women make the Sosua women look like bag ladies and the type of class of visitors to Colombia is much classier then the general type of visitor to Sosua, which I prefer. Most of the guys that visit Sosua would not do very well with Colombian women in my opinion.
