I'll list few of my experiences/ideas with a hope that they'll be useful to those who (like myself) spend only a short time in HK without infinite amount of time to research the scene. To me it would have been useful to see something like this before arriving.

Whatever follows are my own ideas - and I'm sure that more experienced
folks will find plenty to disagree with.
There are essentially three options:
1. Bars - Wanchai etc
2. Bordels - Dundas 37, K Pressure
3. Hotel + self-operating girls (141 etc).

After reading this and other forums, I got impression that no. 3 above is very much hit and miss. Since I didn't have time for to many misses, I didn't try that option - although, I would imagine, with more time and some experience, this could be the best one.

I extensively explored No. 2. K Pressure didn't work for me - first time they asked me to pay before seeing anybody (that didn't fly), and second time they showed me 4-5 girls which didn't appear acceptable, so I left.
Dundas 37 was much better - I tried second and third floor (independent operations). They remember you, and already by the second time you show up they will be reasonable in the sense of not showing you too many not-so-attractive girls.
The girls there typically don't speak any English. Be nice to them, smile and (in some cases) they respond in a nice way. I've mostly had very good experiences there. The main difference between the two floors is that on the second floor they tend to bring 3-4 girls at once, while on the third one they do it one by one.

Now to No. 1. Wanchai is great and I enjoyed it. Since I stayed in Kowloon, I tried first Hary's bar and Sticky Fingers in TST. For me, that was a complete waste of time. Nobody was there.
Wanchai scene is being discussed extensively here. I'll perhaps add just a few details. Many girls there are on a 2 week visa, and for them this means that they will see a given client only once. At least to me, this seems to be eliminating some motivation to work on their clients coming back - so some care is required. To a bit of my surprise, they were very willing to come to my hotel in Kowloon (I thought they would complain about it being too far aawy), and even to more of my surprise, once in the hotel, they wouldn't be in any hurry to leave. One of them I had to almost through out mid afternoon (she was negotiated as ST). Of course, this could have happened just by chance.

I actually prefer to stay in Kowloon for that very reason. They are more likely to settle in for the night. Stay too close to Wanchai and they tend to watch the clock and if they see an opportunity to split early and score a second round, they will.

I am a little curious here. After you guys picked up your girls in Wanchai, how did you get back to Kowloon? Did you take a taxi all the way or did you take the ferry and then catch a taxi back to your hotel?

Carpediem, what time did you go to Hari’s? I find the place gets going pretty good after 11pm closer to midnight. The few times I did not find what I was looking for at Hari’s, I walked over to Sticky. One time I never made over to Sticky because I met two lovelies hanging out in evening dresses about a block before my destination. I have to file that report! It was wild.

The problem is, as with most hotel girls their stay in HK is limited to one or two weeks and if you tried her way back in March then she's already gone! A check in the DB of that sex site confirms this, there's no Yo Yo with that description right now. You also blocked out the telephone number of that pimp (in accordance with this forum's regulations).

Anyone reading your warning would not know who this girl is/was nor who the pimp is. So basically your warning is useless. If you had posted your warning immediately after your experience. While the ad of the girl was still up, then it would serve more purpose.

My point was, your intention was good but there was no information to follow up on. I might have sounded blunt with my first remark and I appologize for that.

Stayed at Regal hotel in Kowloon on business, and took a taxi through the tunnel to Wan Chai at about 1am. The whole area was alive on this Friday night. Taxi ride is quick, about 10 minutes for HK$50 (US$7). Wan Chai is a tad on the seedy side, but safe. Lots of all-night bars & crowds overflowing into the streets in a 4-block area.

Went to Neptunes II and enjoyed mingling with the full range of WGs and good band. Left with a thin little Thai girl who asked for $1500 LT after dancing/drinking for quite a while together. Negotiated $800 ST plus taxi. Back at hotel she tried again to up the price as we climbed into bed after showering. When I said no, she said "OK. I leave then" to which I said "See Ya". She smiled and got back into bed for nice play session. She wound up snuggling in and wanted to spend the night. But I had early plans for the next day and walked her to a cab.

All in all, Wan Chai was OK experience with lots of mid-range choices. But next time I'll stay closer to Kowloon and just check out the Sticky Fingers nearby and local venues. Wan Chai was an interesting place, but I don't see myself going there again when so many options are on this side of the bay in a much cleaner environment.

I had to smile when I read this! Ferry to Kowloon from Wanchai? With your chosen lady for the night? You must be joking!
Its a taxi all the way - there is a rank in a street (Lockhart Road?) in Wanchai that just goes through the tunnel because they have originally been hired in Kowloon to bring punters to the Island. It gives them a return fare. The best of both worlds.

As regards earlier reports about hotel reservation girls, I have always been well pleased. However, you have to make it clear to the pimp that if the girl is not what you ordered - or better - then she goes staright back with no money, taxi fare etc. It has always worked for me.

I had another report from a friend this week that suggested both Hari's and Fingers were quiet. As mentioned by other Bros, you really need to be at Hari's around 1130 to make a proper assessment. Also be sure to check out a Friday night.

The taxi ride can be the beginning of a wonderful evening Bro, relaxed, private. Plus late evening (early morning) there can be little traffic so the trip is relatively quick.

IT has been well documented in this forum that staying too close to the action can back fire on you because your perceived convenience in getting back to your hotel is equalled by the WG's perceived convenience in getting back to the action. I have never had a girl complain in either direction, ie. taking a girl from Hari's back to Hong Kong side or a girl from Wan Chai back to Kowloon... it's an "adventure"!

Took a taxi through the tunnel, 15-20 minutes that time of night.

Visited Hongkong end of April. Had a good experience with a brazilian girl from one of the escort websites. All the pictures on the websites are fake and they don't the girls that are put there. If you like a Russian they will send some girl from CIS with blonde hair. I chose an indian mix model and they sent me a thai girl and had to send her back. Their charges are too expensive too for the quality that they have. The brazilian girl who had come was good and very friendly.
