General Information

I haven't been to either place in a while, but Belle Vista Hotel is between the two bridges and Mermaid Bar is just before the first bridge on the right side if you are moving between the airport and Cebu city. There are several other bars but mostly for locals. Any taxi driver should know Mermaid. It is a bit more expensive than the Mango bars. X

St Moritz has a big downside in that you have to go thru a squatter area to get to the front door. The first time I walked past there was a scraggly looking lady who pulled down her drawers and took a [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] right at the side of the road. I think some of the locals do karaoke nearby, but shouldn't be too bad unless you are an early sleeper.

I guess a plus is that it has it's own go go bar. Most of the ladies are mediocre at best, but the bar is all wood and you can imagine it being a really nice place at one time. There is a separate pool room in the back.

The rooms are large, but furnishings are from a different era. It would be a big step down from Parklane. I'm pretty sure there is wi-fi, but not sure if it is the standard you need WR. I liked the little courtyard in the middle, which includes a little side bar. You can step out of your room and order a beer (assuming it is staffed). The restaurant, much like the bar, seems to have few customers.

It's the kind of place that I would really hate to see disappear simply because it is unique....so, I hope some of you guys pay a visit and at least have a beer, maybe take a look around.

It's location is very near the new Hotel Elizabeth which should be opening soon.

Stay in the city MR. Any of the hotels listed on the forum are OK.

She can travel. Give her the fare (if she is punctual hehe). Days Hotel is way way out of the action - it is a decent walk to anywhere from there.

Manta Ray, I stayed at the Days Hotel last year on Oct 2009. I personally did not like that hotel. I was very disappointed with that hotel. The only reason we stayed there was because it was very close to the airport. The rooms have an awful smell to it. Also, the remote for the TV you have to punch in a code for it. You will have to ask them what the code is. This is pretty stupid as other hotels don't do this. They are using those universal remotes for the TV. The button on the TV was broken that I couldn't manually change the channel. The service at the restaurant was very slow. My friend waited a good 20-30 min until they served his food. There were other filipinos coming into the restaurant after us. It looks like they catered to them first despite us being there before them. In the shower, I seen this big clump near the drain. I thought it was a pile of vomit hehe. Then, I realized that it was some clump of putty to patch up the floor I guess. What got us worried also was the sign we see by the elevator it stated:

"Please secure your personal belongings. We are not held responsible if your items are stolen"

This made us worry and we felt that our stuffs in the room are bound to be stolen. I'm not surprised if they already had several incidents of peoples possessions being stolen. If you're staying there for 1-2 nights only than... maybe it's not that bad. But, there's just not much to do there if you stay at Days hotel. I'll never stay at that hotel again.

Consider the Dulcinea Hotel and Suites. It's the same cost as Days Hotel and near the airport. It's not as close to the airport as Days Hotel though.

Is it just me or is it getting more and more difficult to get high quality (18-23, slim, cute, fluent English, reliable, not too expensive, not too high mileage) girls here in Cebu via DIA and other sites? I know if you are just "window shopping" in the US etc it seems there is a superabundance of such girls on the dating sites here, but in reality most of these are flakes or scammers or hubby hunters.

Anyhow I do have a few such girls, but like variety so am willing to swap contact details. In the past i have tended to just give such contact details away but with a few honourable exceptions (eg Wicked Roger and Tallywacker) it tends to be a one way street.) if anyone is interested in some reciprocal contact giving of interesting high quality girls, PM me.

I think there are more scammers on the web site nowadays or maybe the girls realise they can try a line or two and see if they get cash.... either way I dont bother much nowadays

Like you I tend to swap rather then give one way and I need to know the guy well first. Protects you, the girl and everyone's reputation. Plenty stories on the board about mongers giving away contacts and then he turns out to be real dick and girl you know very well blames you etc....get the story?

Many of us have put a lot of effort both on the Internet and physically (:)) to find girls we like and trust. So it should be reciprocal and the girls we see from other friends should be able to trust us as much our girls trust our 'friends'

Spot on WR. Once you find a group of mates that you can trust then the swapping becomes easier.
It is even possible to do 3 somes and 4 somes with good friends too (as we know all too well).
By using the word "trust" I mean that I expect that some dreaded microorganisms will not be introduced into the party by any other party.

I got a good case of red eye / conjunctivitis. And a bit of research about incubation period means I got it soon after coming from Moalboal back to Cebu city, although the symptoms didn't show until Tokyo.

Ouch, I didn't realize I was such a selfish bstrd, nor did I realize you needed help. Thanks for the contacts you sent me via pm, I never met any of them face to face. I tried with one gal, one of the first you recommended, but she's now married and living in the West.

Hello, everyone!

I am mildly disabled and my brother is my part-time care provider. If he has a felony record from 22 years ago, are they going to stop him from entering the Philippines? Canada would not let him in, will PI be as strict? I can make it OK without him, but I would be a lot safer to bring him along. Does PI only let you in if you are without a criminal record?

I know I know I should have chosen the Marriott downtown. But, I choose Hilton for 3 reasons beach, it was free (points), and I need to save since I am traveling to multiple cities.

But here's my questions, fully being aware Hilton is kind of off the beaten path are there girl bars or any fun close to the Hilton? Looking for your expert knowledge or recommendation?
