When you deal with an escort agency, you are basicaly paying a big premium for the convenience of having the girl show up at your door. Some customers want or need that degree of convenience and don't mind paying a lot extra for it.

But don't believe for a minute an agency will supply a "higher class" or more beautiful girl than you'll find in bars or on the street. In fact, the girls who are registered with escort agencies field their calls while sitting in Gulliver's, a Nana gogo or even the Beer Garden. The stories about models and university students working for an escort agency are only for those who really want to believe.

One trick the escort agency will use is to promise that the girl you've picked out from their Web site will arrive at a certain time or within a certain number of minutes. About 30 minutes before she's supposed to arrive, the agency will call to say she's been delayed in traffic but a different girl can still get to your hotel within 30 minutes. There won't be a photo of the replacement girl on the Web site. If you say "no," they'll offer to email you a photo of another girl who's also close by. If you insist you'll wait for the girl you booked, a girl who sort of resembles her will appear.

It's one of the oldest scams of them all, bait and switch. The girl in the Web site photo has probably never worked for the agency The owner tries various tricks, all involving the same girl, to try to get you to accept her instead of the girl in the photo.

I don't quite understand what you are getting at. When was I a victim? I have been in Asia long enough and done enough business to know the Thai mentality and their inherent racistness. But it is no different than the Japanese or the Koreans who are worse.

Are all my friends married or engaged to middle class Thai's victims and are being set up for a grand fall in the future where all the Thai's will sit around and laugh at them?

I know this kind of question has been asked in one form or another, but i just feel STUCK and in disbelief that the answer has to be so difficult.

I want to find a girlfriend from BKK to visit me on a tourist visa. In fact, I may want a second to come along as well.

I usually wind up "dating" bar girls so that I don't have to pay their bar fine, although I spend MUCH more time in the Philippines.

Lets say a girl worked in a bar and is doing nothing now after quiting (I know....be cynical...ok, she's fucking guys right and left and is for sure a no good lieing ***** that is taking advantage of me (-: )

The fact that she can show no consecutive employment is a strike against her getting a visa. Even if she were working in a bar for 12 straight months, would that help? If she could put on the application she worked at "Papion" and say it is a "restaurant"?

Then she has to have a ton of money in her bank account to get this visa....at least I think that matters: it does for an Filipino girl trying to travel to US. No, I don't trust her with 1000s, so I don't want to give her access to 1000s of USD in an acct. I could go to BKK and fly with her or we could fly seperate.

Then....she can stay for, what 60 days MAX with all extensions? 60 is enough, but AT WHAT COST?

Bottom line is I read that one should just FORGET bringing a girl over on a tourist visa from the Philippines. Could it really be that bad also in Thailand?

I own a "LLC" company in the US. Would it be a better route to try to apply for the most limited work visa possible? This company has no employees in usa, just me, and her skills? ....well they are indeed very SPECIALIZED and DIFFICULT TO FIND in the US, but not quite what us imigration has in mind i think.

How the hell do I get her over here? I was looking at these "sugar daddy" websites and all these girls want $5000 to spend a couple days a week with you + be showered with gifts. I want a live in situation like I can have in the Phils! In a world of outsourcing this should be possible!

I'm relatively young and get girls in the US, but nothing can compare to a Asian live-in girlfriend who is willing to give you a lot of freedom if you a generous to her (RE: more about sex and money then a "real" serious relationship)

Small chance in my opinion. The immigration officer usually looks for reasons the person would not want to stay in the US. The girls you described would have no reason to leave to the US.

In general Thai's (according to my experience) are very superficial. Everything is easy and best accomplished with a lot of fun.

Just like children, who would play until it hurts, the actual result of their actions comes as a complete surprise to them.

I quit my job...oh now I have no money.
I place my daughter on my lap when I drive, oh she is now hurt.
I take no contraception, oh I am pregnant now etc etc...

My point is (and was in my previous posts) that Thai's never really think things through.

With regard to social introductions. That is an old game in Thailand. They do not laugh at you, they (again) just play and have fun. It generates communal entertainment. Also keep in mind that although Thai's appear rather innocent at times, their jokes and games can be quite heavy.

I do not think though that introductions would indicate more then a dinner date. But this is not for me to judge. Your social scene after all :-)

21 years here in Thailand and I could not agree more. No point telling them anything, it either goes in one ear and out of the other, or is forgotten in 10 minutes.

Apart from using condoms, most working girls in my experience do not take the pill. Yet when condoms break, as they sometimes do, or when times are hard, and they agree to bareback, they give no thought to the fact that they are unprotected, and when they become pregnant, it is a total surprise.

Almost knock them off their motorbikes, when they suddenly U-turn in front of you, and they think it's a huge joke. I end up wishing I actually had knocked them off!

It is akin to describing all Americans as rednecks and all Europeans as Eurotrash. there are different levels and classes of people in Thailand with different educational backgrounds and family upbringing. for someone who have been living in Thailand for 21 years, you sure know how to make sure people know you are full of shit when you generalise.

Yes I now understand were you are coming from. Once when I was in my BKK office a very cute girl caught the corner of my eye early in the day. When I was leaving and a senior Thai guy was walking me to the elevator he literally grabbed her and through her into the lift telling her to go out for a drink with me. She was a really nice girl (Chinese Thai with a gorgeous face but body a bit too big for me but I like super thin women so she was probably normal to the rest) but I found out pretty quickly she was a virgin at 27. Neither Jungle Bluebird nor I have generalised. We both referred to our experience. Furthermore we specified particular events/happenings.

I stick to what I said. I believe it to be true for all the Thais I have come across.
I don't mix with "Hi-So's", in my neck of the woods, people are poorly educated, so I speak as I find. I will also re-iterate Jungle Bluebirds comment "Everything is easy and best accomplished with a lot of fun." That's been my experience in 21 years here without a doubt!

Gentlemen. I was plannning on spending a few nights in BK next trip, but as it happens I will now be leaving Pattaya sometime am and arriving in BK a few hours later. I have to be at the airport at 0600 the following day. Obviously a classical LT ( which I prefer) is out, so what's the best bet?
1. Pick up a FL from The Beer Garden or Gulivers early and have a few rounds and a few drinks etc, or pick up a BG or GoGo later?

I am inclined to find an early afternoon FL, take her back, do the biz, go for a few bevvies and some food, take her back, do the biz again and fuck her off about midnight so I can get to the airport for 6.
