Not in Bangkok. Was found dead with his innards hanging out. He may have been drunk, going too fast, lights not working, who knows? May have been hit by drunk trunk driver going to fast. The other party involved was not found. Many accident victims may well be left to die rather than call an ambulance.

I was advised to not try to drive somewhere on the main roads yesterday. Too dangerous. Stayed home. Not sure if Bangkok is just as dangerous from drunks. Plenty of Thais were so drunk, they just fell off their motorcycles and got banged up.

Yesterday Bangkok Post reported the Thailand road toll after 3 days was 188 dead and 10 times more injured. As a percentage of population , that is still low, I guess. Country town toll percentage of population can be worse. Chiangmai was rated one of the worst.

Causes are reported to be drink driving and speed. 79% involved motorcycles. 80% killed were drivers.

Lessons are so easy. Songkran is danger time. Don't drive after drinking. Don't go on motorcycles at any speed during Songkran and not on major roads or where speed is possible. Beware many other drivers will be drunk and behaving stupidly. Use a taxi.

The issue with Songkran is not really getting doused in water. That is a minor thing.

They have a queue system of their own. It would not do for a girl who is not up at bat for the next pitch to wink, smile too broadly and indicate any interest in the very next customer who walks up unless it is fairly well understood or obvious by some other interaction between you and that girl that you are a repeat of hers (or might be).

Of course, the customer can ignore the Bar's queue system and choose any girl he wants. Even if she is seen walking down those stairs inside the Bar with a customer she just finished and therefore logically last in the queue for the next customer.

If anything, the Kasalong girls are on average better looking than Lolytas, allowing for the fact that I probably hardly notice the last good looking ones, naturally concentrating on those doable. After trying Amporn at Kasilong, on the way out I spotted a prettier girl (wasn't available originally). Line ups always vary of course and best girls may be busy. Where did you experience that? I have seen difficulties between bargirls re stealing another girl's customer, but never experienced anything like that at an MP.
