If or when a destination like Bangkok becomes so prohibitively expensive for airfare, hotel rates, Ladydrinks, customer drinks, barfines, the girls' fees, etc., all perfectly valid topics of discussion on this and other such sites, that it clashes too much with the quality of the P4P session one is likely to finally get after all of the expenditure, I would hope it does not happen without at least SOME posters on boards like this one pushing back and warning against that unfortunate result, in at least some small way contributing to it NOT happening rather than placidly standing by in silence while it did.

Pretty much for me to go to Thailand for 1 week my cost is a maximum 125,000 TBH so if I calculate it per girl it would be about 5800 to 6250 each. I think each to his own and someone pays overs it really doesn't affect the market as much as some say it does. I will pay from 1000 to 1500ST for a freelancer and 2000 if really good and I have had a great time with from an agogo.

LOL. If even for the fun of it. Now divide it by the really GOOD fucks and sucks we got. lol. And when that cost per lay begins to tilt too far in the wrong direction, it is likely it will take longer to book the next trip, right? Maybe by only a month or two. But I can't say it would never ever be a factor.

Yesterday I went to Nana Plaza to one of my favourite bars there. It's Erotica. It's on the left side between the second and third floor in the corner. Chang beer were 95 Baht the last years. I asked the guy at the door if it's still 95 but he said no, now it's 120 Baht. It's still a good price so I asked again. One two zero Baht? He confirmed. I went inside and ordered a chang. I didn't check the bill (big mistake). After a while I paid a lady drink and another chang for me. I wasn't in the mood for the girl and asked for the bill. It comes with 510 Baht! Chang 170 Baht. I asked why 170 the guy said 120. She just said, no it's 170. I went to mamasan and asked her about the bill. She said the boys outside don't speak good English. It must be a misunderstanding, chang is 170. How can it be a misunderstanding? I asked twice. I paid the bill and left. After about an hour I came back and asked another guy at the door about the price. He also said 120 Baht. So for me it's getting people inside the bar by telling them a cheaper price. Rip off. Be careful if you go there or better don't go there at all. I will not.

By the way. LD 170, barfine 700, room 350 and the girl 2500 for short time. That 's at least what they said.

So whatever your budget there is something for you. It's simple if you don't feel like spending an evening out costing 6000 don't. Plan instead to party where it costs 3000, 2000, 1000 or whatever you want to spend and enjoy.

If one wants to visit Thailand, they can see a real life example of how much a typical evening will cost at Nana Plaza and the condition of the short time rooms and so forth. Frankly, I am sick and tired of comments like the Op's on the board. Other members seem to appreciate my posts as they have been quoted in the reports of distinction thread on many occasions. Of course I want other members to calculate how much an evening will cost but it's completely ridiculous to say I want to invite others to factor in all those expenses into the cost per girl. Why the hell do we have to analyze posts to this extent? I like your reports but sometimes I just don't get you.

I suggest everyone just stop all this krap and submit reports. That way people can learn. Right now the forum is cluttered with so much garbage, its ridiculous!

I don't think they are as nefarious or negatively intended as you seem to believe some are.

It looked like you were yourself factoring in the cost of the drinks in order to get to the final result when you introduced the calculations with, "Two drinks later and we were off to the short time room next door. 4 LD plus one for the Moma son and 2 beers for me was 1200 Baht," which, as I said, even included the cost of a Ladydrink for the girl you didn't take to a ST room. in fact, it included the cost of the two Ladydrinks for two ladies you didn't take into that ST room and your own drinks. It isn't as though you merely cited how much a Ladydrink costs in this bar. See, you added the costs of all of your LD purchases together, even those for two women who did not go into that ST room with you and your own drinks, and then framed it as though those costs ought to be factored into how you finally got into that ST room with one of them.

Come to think of it, maybe all of those additional costs DID have something to do with how good your girl was for you in that ST room. Did that ever occur to you? It sure would have occurred to ME had I been in your position. Perhaps the total cost ought to be part of this report in ways you hadn't fully realized. After all, your first choice girl, the first one you bought a LD for and interviewed but she came across as less than enthusiastic to do her job by being with you or anyone else, had no idea yet how much you were going to ultimately spend in that bar on her, the mamasan and all that. But the second one who did go into the ST room with you and gave you a good time saw the whole thing unfold and was able to do her own total calculations in her head. And then add 3,000 baht to that, perhaps even suspecting you would be generous enough to add an additional 500 baht or more if she really gave you her best. Not so unusual, remarkable or outrageous about factoring all of this into it.

Who says there is nothing to learn by "analyzing" some of these reports a tad more than one might think worthwhile when we first post them?

Considering that is not an unusual way for many of us to calculate the ultimate cost of the Big Event for the evening, it didn't even occur to me that the questioning of it would be met with such outrage. It's just not that big a deal. I would have responded with something more like, "Yeah, some guys might see it that way. But I don't. I feel like the money I spent on those extra costs provided their own entertainment value separate from the specific cost of the ST. And if spending that much contributed to my having as enjoyable a time in that ST room as I did, then I am all for it."

Went to Thermae last night; it was packed with gals. Last time I was there was last year, and it didn't even come close to that. Maybe it's just my timing, but I wasn't expecting it on a Tuesday. Men were outnumbered at least 6 to 1. Some more guys showed up at random times, but the numbers never even got close to 3 to 1. Not a crazy amount of lookers, though. I chatted with a couple, but they indicated I was the wrong color. A couple of the other white guys seemed to be doing fine, but they were chatting up some of the 30 some odd year old looking ones while I was chatting up the early 20's ones. The guys I was hanging out with indicated that their partners for the night (who also seemed to be friends or at least a clique of some sort) took 2.5 k baht and 2 k baht for short time. Their girls weren't really my type though (appeared to be early 30's) so I ended up opting not to grab a girl from that group. Quite a few girls were staring me down (when not buried in their phones), so it's not like I was getting no attention, but again, not my type. Beer is still cheap-ish for that kind of establishment at 110 baht a bottle for a singha so I ended up just drinking for a while and leaving 'round 11.

On the topic of those types of establishments, anything comparable to Thermae around anymore? There used to be that Lions Den place with the shark tank, but that's gone now. I see mention of a Beer Garden or maybe it's Bier Garten but I'm really not familiar with it. I saw a Beer Garden on soi 7 but the crowd looked significantly older at the time so I'm not sure that's the one that's discussed. I know Climax is also mostly a working girl pick up joint, but I'm not really in love with the atmosphere. Recommendations welcome. Thanks.

Having read the forums on and off I thought it about time I made a contribution by reporting on how I got on this past week.

Nana / Soi Cowboy:

Had a wonder around and a fair few stunners to be seen in Rainbow 4, Billboard and Bacarra. Watching interaction with other customers and noticed very few girls offering LT. All offering ST around the 3500 baht mark plus bar fines. I think many went home without any customers as there wasn't a high uptake. I stayed for one drink in each and moved on.

Oily Massage:

I love a good massage, but I'm super fussy about who I choose. I found the selection this week pretty poor if I'm honest. 102 Massage in Soi 24 had for me by far the best lineup. I had a good session there and I'd say there was something for everyone on offer here. Exploring further, I also recommend Pin at Boss Massage. Age 25 with a great figure and she provided a fantastic service. Cost was 2200 baht for 2 shots. She had great massage skills, and a very playful personality right from the start through to the end of the session. I was passing a couple of evenings later, wondering about a massage when she spotted me and rushed over, gave me a big hug and dragged me in for a repeat session. Decision made for me! My second recommendation is Mugi at Mitu on Soi 33 - age 21 with slender model looks with an amazing figure and a great super sexy attitude. This place is for nuru and soapy massages with rates set more like the larger soapy establishments. 2 shots with Mugi was 4600 baht but was probably one of the best experiences ever. After the B2B and first round on the air mattress she couldn't wait to jump me again and get started on the bed for round 2. As with Pim we went through every position imaginable and she was determined to satisfy.

Thermae:

I went in around midnight and it was quite quiet. A lot of youngsters there but nothing much to my taste. After a short while someone caught my eye. A very elegant late 20's lady offered me some sweets she was sharing around. We ended up chatting which was when I discovered just how super fit she was, hiding an amazing body. We were thrown out at closing around 2 am, then went on to a few bars until around 4 after which we headed back to my hotel for a great session. I am glad you had a good time. It does not matter if the girl is not my type or anyone else's type. If you like this girl and want to see her again, you might want to consider taking her out of Som's to your hotel. A 2 hour outcall would be around 800 baht extra on top of Som's normal full service 2 hour fee.

I am surprised Som was there. She has not been present the last few times I stopped by and other previous Som's Haven regulars have been saying the same. And, hate to say it, but I think you made the right move in ignoring Som's high recommendation for that or any other girl in the place these days. I would not have said that 3-4 years ago when she used to be very good at steering me towards some of the best providers I have ever experienced in a BJ Bar. Then she would say something in Thai to the girl as we started to go upstairs and, whatever it was, those earlier Som's Haven girls she recommended to me really delivered the goods beyond expectations.

But that took a turn at some point and, frankly, her recommendations over the past 2-3 years turned out to be some of the worst I have ever experienced. Not that she purposely tries to pawn off the worst, least popular (deservedly so) providers onto whoever is ready to choose. I just think she no longer has a clue or cares which ones are good, bad or indifferent, what they do upstairs, whether they get enthusiastic repeat customers or what the repercussions might be if the customer is not well taken care of. Consequently, I have only taken 1-2 girls there over the past couple of years. I have stopped in to have a drink and say hi to Som, who is now rarely there. But I am no longer inspired to take a girl upstairs very often.
