IMHO, you should try to check your luggage through if you can and get a boarding pass. Things are constantly changing so I am not sure if you can do that. Just use carry on and roller and buy what you need that is not allowed as carry on or mail ahead. I always watch out for construction and other things that will affect the traffic on the way back to the airport. I always keep the train as a backup plan as it is somewhat more reliable in terms of getting back to the airport. I only took it once because of protests. I tried staying out by the airport but girls don't like going that far.

Some time ago (a few years?) I read about a barber shop in Bangkok where not only your hair was cut, but they provided a "happy ending" too. Try as I might I could not trace back that post. It may even have been on another forum and it was quite some time ago anyhow, so the info then provided is probably stale by now.

Anybody any idea where that place was? And if so, does it still exist? All info is welcome.
