Hard to believe as I found Colombia women to be VERY cautious. More cautious than almost any other area. I'd be concerned about these girls if they aren't worried.

He always takes the newbies out and shows them around the casas and other parts of Medellin. It's true that the Mansion is not a good place if you're after non pros, but even after my 8 trips to Medellin, I still prefer the Mansion to an apartment. I've had both. It is NOT a frat house, certainly not anymore. In fact on my last trip it was actually a little quieter than I would have liked, and I'm certainly no party animal. You can keep to yourself all you want, and no one will care.

i am using a nikon d50 with a standard 18-55mm lens kit and also a fixed 50 mm lens for that "sharp image w/blury background" effect. i am also using a pivoting speed flash attached to the camera's hot shoe as well to "bounce" the light as oppose to direct light flash if i were using the built in pop up flash. direct flash causes harsh reflections and dark shadows behind the subject. back home i have the umbrellas and reflectors and backgrounds but never lug them along on vacation. however, i am not a professional. just a hobby of mine.
a digital slr is the way to go for professional looking shots, especially with a nice paisa in front of the camera. however, no need to get ridiculous and bring an slr that's in the thousands of dollars range. i have seen gents do just that although i could see from their use of the camera and photo results that they don't really spend time learning how to effectively use the camera's multi functions to the point of which they just turn it on auto and end up with a point and shoot.
composition is going on in my mind as i look through the lens of the camera. am i tilted? is there debri in the background? is there a hair in the girls face? will she look better with or without a smile? etc. robert was nice enough to go along with my suggestion of an outdoor makeshift studio. we cleared an area, brought out some furniture. added the plants for a nature touch. also suspended a white sheet above the shoot area to allow the flash to "bounce" off of.
as far as air brushing, no, not really but what i do, if needed, is crop, lighten/darken highlight etc. but as far as the actual girls, pretty much what you see is what you can get. none of them are professional models. some have a knack for posing, many do not.
one thing is it is real work to get that special shot. i take several pictures in order to try to pinpoint one that brings the best out of my subject.
i thought i would include this picture which has only been resized in order to post but absolutely nothing else has been done. so you show your friend and then tell me what he thinks of the paisas again.
i just don't know what kind of convincing is better than photos.

I have traveled to various places in Colombia, I was in Cali, Pereira, Cartago, Ibague, Armenia, Tulua, Bogota, Cartagena and Barranquilla.
But In Medellin behaved like a gentleman, because I've been in a friends' house, But I met a beautiful girl, I'm conquering THROUGH the internet, my question is for The Experts in Medellin: How safe is the area "San Javier" it's Comuna 14? San javier is located at the end of the line of the Metro.
Any comments will thank you in forward motion.

Not the safest area for a gringo, in my opinion. I only went down there ones, at night, to see what it was like and I almost got ran over by a guy on a bicycle. That was my experience.

Long time lurker, first time writing a report. Well Hello, to everyone. I have to send a special thank you to all the board members who post on a regular basis. All your insight was invaluable. This is for those of us who are visual learners. I have a few pictures of the massage parlors I visited during my visit in Medellin.
I visited Blue Room since I have read so much about it on this board. I figured that all you guys couldn't be wrong. As I walked in I really liked the place. Two or three different seating areas. Nice, and clean was in a really nice part of town. Once inside and I am sitting down I ask to see the lineup. There was only 4 girls working at that time.
I like two of them and I decide to only take one of them.

I sat down and showed me the line up 8-12 girls. I only liked one a tall skinny dark skinned, dark haired. I was already hot from the walk. The place was also hot. I asked the attendant if the rooms had A/C. I know, dumb question. She responds only fans. Since the pickings were slim to begin with I go back to Samsara.
I return and walk up and the girl that I liked, that I had my eye on was still available. Fernanda is gorgeous. Tall skinny model type body, she had long dark hair. She has a little belly flab which comes from her having a child. Amazing girl. Once we walk in the room she attacks me and starts kissing passionately. We make out like high school sweethearts. sorry to disappoint anybody who thinks being in the raw means being naked. not in theses pics that is.
what i mean is that every one of these pictures are as i took them and only have been re-sized to 800x600 to conform to the upload parameters.
none of these pictures have been manipulated otherwise. i say all this because when i posted the previous set of pictures, i was accused of 1) being a professional photographer 2) using professional models and 3) heavy airbrushing of the pictures.
so i made this post to categorically say that 1) i am not a professional. i do this as a hobby. 2) none of the girls are models, they are simply mansion/casa blanca girls. 3) i sometimes crop, lighten or darken to correct exposure, and will eliminate minor background debris or minor facial blemishes (like a pimple).
so these are raw pictures which is not the same as being shot in raw format. these were shot in jpeg format.

oh and as far as the sisters? man oh man! vanessa (the longer haired/taller one) is sexy as hell and a fantastic kisser and a tigress where it counts. didn't have a chance to try jennifer. my dumb ass should have done a double but vanessa was like the creature from alien and just smothers you with great face!
