Right. I took that for granted. I am a Silver Elite member with a premier Marriott rewards visa card and a IHG Platinum Elite member with a Chase Priority Club Visa card. Membership has it's privileges.
Indeed, sometime even a Silver card helps, if the hotel is rather empty. I have had gold type upgrades when I was silver (but not all the gold privileges). With a gold card it is nearly a certain matter (if they have rooms, of course). Even if sometimes they tell you it is an upgrade, but ultimately it is nothing special.
Beautiful 5 star property (well atleast it looks and feels the part) with service one would expect from an international chain (Millenium and Copthorne).
What I loved about GM is the well appointed bathrooms, lovely bedding, work station, socket inputs (AV) and power, USB outlets etc. Beautiful large tub with a separate loo and separate shower. Internet is bloody expensive though. Tip. Buy an AIS 3G tourist SIM for 400 baht (1 gb, plus 100 baht call credit) and create your own wifi hotspot with your phone.
Agree on the G. Millennium. I find it worth doing the upgrade to Exec. Floor if it is available. Internet included as are breakfast, and late afternoon drinks / canapés etc. In the lounge. Some good massage places in vicinity too. Out the back door to 23. Handy for Skytrain and subway.
After further discussion it seems that for someone who was to be giving a legit massage, she was quite insistent that she undress and wanted her nipples sucks. I think we found the transmission method. That is the last thing he recalls. Sucking her nipples. Anyway, now he knows better.
Ah Yes. Its a well known thing in Thailand culture that when a mother doesn't want her baby to breast feed any longer, she puts "Boraphet" liquid, a foul bitter tasting substance from a climbing plant with spines (I think) , on her nipples and this terminates the baby's desire to suck very quickly. Also there is a folk story / joke conundrum about a woman putting poison on her nipples and asking "Who died?" Wasn't the baby, but the husband or lover died.
So in Thailand, the nipple technique is not a surprise at all. Presumably a very strong substance used like Rohypnol or horse tranquiliser.
All Marriott properties in BKK and Pattaya are GF friendly I. E. No joiner fees. That includes the Marriott Executive Apartments on Thonglor and Soi 24 as well as the Renaissance and Courtyard. I prefer the apartment hotels over the opulent JW and modern cool Renaissance because of the increased square footage.
Thanks Natty,
The only reason I choose Marriot chain is cause of rewards program. I really don't want to spend on JW but read its a sure GFE property. Will be more than happy to shift to courtyard or Marriot executive apartments if they are GFE. Am dropping in a email to them today, lets see what they have to say about the joiner fee.
At HarCom, Thanks for the information on its JW's location buddy. I have stayed there a couple of times but both time lets just say the situation was that I cannot bring chicks to the room and leave it at that. PM'd you the details of the Seoul contact, not too hard to find on the ether.

Boss Suites
I've just spent a few days at the Boss Suites on Sukhumvit Soi 4 (Nana Tai) and found it pretty good. I paid around AUD $60 / night for a double room. The hotel has a decent (although rather heavily chlorinated) pool and a gym. It's on the same street as Nana Plaza and not too far from Soi Cowboy. It's girl friendly for at least one girl but I didn't try multiple girls so can't comment on that.

Tai Pan Hotel
Please can anyone advise as to whether or not the Tai Pan Hotel on Suk Soi23 is girl friendly or not? I have already searched this thread a number of times and can see no mention of this hotel. Cheers, Mac75.

The nipple drug story is BS. It's an urban legend, like the kidneys. In almost every case I've ever read, when pressed further, the victim had accepted some food or drink from the girl.
Any incapacitating substance must consumed in some quantity. Usually measured in milligrams. A solution spread on a nipple isn't going to result in the sucker ingesting enough of the substance to put him to sleep for 12 hours. If there exists a substance so strong that just trace residue from a nipple will put your ass out for 12 hours, then it would have put the girl into a coma. Skin is porous and would certainly absorb most of such a substance.
However, there are documented cases of poisonous lipstick, used by nefarious ladies to poison their male targets. The best defense is to wear special lip protectors. I know it's true because I saw this on several episodes of Get Smart!

If you have any doubt, you better email the hotel and ask their policy on joiner fees. In practice most hotels have no problems provided you booked a two-person room.

If there is a substance that can act with only a few mg, I think its still possible that could have impaired the guy sufficiently to then give him something to drink afterwards as a booster.
I have no expertise on this subject, but I remain unconvinced that this method is impossible. Why would the girl have asked him to lick her nipples if there was no purpose? Is not exactly standard.

Is not exactly standard.
I agree that it is "possible." However, I also have to believe something like that would also be absorbed via the very sensitive nipple area, thus having the same effect on the girl. That is, unless she's developed the nipple version of Agent 86's lip protectors.
But more to the point, about the only readily available drug that I'm aware of, that would have such long lasting effects as alleged, with such a small dosage, would be a roofie. A 1mg dose is sufficient to send some folks into orbit for several hours, although it depends on body weight, etc. However, the average Thai hooker won't have access to "pure" Rohypnol. It comes in tablet form (supposedly with a blue dye to make it obvious if somebody spiked a drink with it). It could be crushed and put into a dark colored drink. However, if crushed and dissolved, even if in a couple of ounces of water, it would still be far too much to spread onto a nipple (or two). I'm not convinced that the residue of such a solution would be strong enough to incapacitate somebody. And it would have to have an adverse effect on the woman as well.
In any case, it's a really bad idea to accept food, or an opened drink, from a total stranger. But if they can bait the trap with nipples, I guess they'll catch me every time. :D

If you see a girl with big hairpins, be very careful. Be even more careful if your taxidriver has big hairpins.

Even more serious is the ladies who coat their labia with a slow acting drug. They like to enjoy the licking and don't want you falling asleep before they orgasm. Remember if you are licking and she orgasms hard, you way wake up 12 hours later with nowt but your hard on.
It must be true; I am sure I saw an example on youTube.

Their only stipulation was that they would want to see the id of any guest that comes with me, which I'm fine with. I also emailed Furama Xclusive with the same question and their reply was basically the same. So I'm considering both, thanks for your help, Mac75.

Report 2: The Landmark
Stayed at the Landmark. Paid US$107 a night with taxes, reimbursed by my client. Booked a standard room. At check in requested an upgrade. They gave me a premium room on the club floor. Couldn't use the club room and didn't get any of the premium perks. Fine with me. My room was on the 29th floor. The 31st floor is the top floor and houses the steak restaurant. The elevator doesn't stop at the 30th floor. My room looked directly down on Nana Plaza. I heard no noise from the street and my floor was always quiet. The room looked nice but had some very awkward features. If I was working at the desk and wanted to place a call within the hotel I had to walk across the room to the telephone. The bathroom mirror was a narrow rectangle stuck in a corner far away from the lights. Obviously done to accommodate the glass wall separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. Housekeeping was great. I put 100 baht on the bed every day and got great service. I'd call housekeeping and ask for my room to be cleaned during a one hour time block I specified. It always got done on time. The food in the restaurants was average, overpriced hotel food. The bar had a 2 for 1 happy hour, but was still overpriced. The complimentary bar snacks were decent. The service was less than professional. I liked two things about the hotel: the location is fantastic and I got free use of the Fitness First Platinum Gym. Otherwise there are less expensive hotels with an equally good location and much nicer hotels that cost only a few dollars more.
