As many of you already know who frequent the go-gos and compared their trips to many years ago, full payment is now made upfront which means there is no incentive for the WG to provide good service. Also, as everyone already knows, some WGs only give covered blowjobs (although some have changed their mind once barfined). And even more alarming, WGs at the go-gos are begging and whining for you to pay for their lady drink targets BEFORE you bar-fine them. No more 1 drink then barfine, they want 3-4 drinks. And a drink for the staff and the mamasan.

So yup, as you stated, many mongers are in their "I see the real pattaya" stage with this new generation of WGs and bar price system that nickel and dimes the customer to death.

Based on my personal experience, most bar girls generally want you to pay to get them out of work (pay barfine + pay drink target + pay LT). They dont want to see you after work, when you could've easily got them out of work, most are already tired and want to go home after work.

There is no shortage of men who want to see them after work, so they simply want the one who gets them out of work.

So in my book, there is a distinction between bar girls and freelancers. Bar girls want their transaction to go through the bar.

To be fair, Pattaya still has plenty of good looking girls. Im simply comparing it to 10-15 years ago. 2500 Baht Long time is not overpaying. It's more than fair for any girl from a bar or freelancer. Don't listen to guys who say otherwise. Most of the ones that say this are doing things that most tourists or even expats can't be bothered with.

2500-3500 Baht Long time for an overnight with multiple pops YMMV on the number of pops.

Give or take 500 Baht either way. These are the normal prices.

Some guys will pay more where others will try their strategies to pay less. It's up to the lady, her looks and if she needs money or not.

Finally, nobody ever wins a price debate or a safe sex debate. It's been that way on here for years.

Do what you want and pay what you want. The only issue is that some guys will ridicule others for not using condoms or paying too much. That is what I don't like. Like I said before, if guys want to fuck girls on beach road for cheap, it's up to them. Just have a good time.

If someone says the price is normally 1500 THB plus or minus 500 THB. That is a range of 1000 to 2000 THB. THAT is a big difference. Double from the lower price until the upper price. I challenge anyone to go into a store ask to purchase something and they are given a price for the item as 1000 - 2000 for it. I haven't been down Walking Street in more than 6 years; I simply don't see any point. Same goes for the other 'tourist strips' like LK. You know your going to pay more than you need to, so why bother?

This is my first trip in almost 5 years, and prices have gone up for me. Accommodation almost no increase, food. Barely any increase, beer. Inflation, girls. Maybe 10-20% increase in price. Hardly above inflation. The only notable exception is Soi 6, which used to be my regular haunt but is now part of the 'Tourist Strip'.

Because they want to take the girls out of the bar. If you want to fuck a soi 6 girl outside of the bar, they will get you for 2500 Barfine before 10 PM. It slowly goes down until closing time. If you don't want this, fuck them in the short time rooms above the bar. This is how the Nightwish group discourages taking the girls out of the bar early. They want them there drinking until midnight. I know managers there and they tell me if they didn't do this, all the girls would be gone by 10 PM and they may as well just close early.

[/QUOTE]Compared to beach road, discos, beer bars, LK metro, and soi 6? Yes! I would take a bar girl from Palace unseen compared to taking a freelancer unseen from beach road or anywhere else. One has a higher risk than the other.

I'm speaking generally, there is always an exception to the rule. Theres plenty of mongers walking around central festival and terminal 21 with solid looking freelancers. And freelancers obviously typically provide better GFE / chemistry than money hungry and time watching bar girls. There's a pro and con for everything.

My time is limited as a tourist, so my strategy is different. Obviously if I was an expat I would have all the time in the world to evaluate every single freelancer spot. I would go to every beer bar and disco every night to find the best freelancers. But on my trips, most of my time goes towards go-gos and if I have extra time I look for freelancers at discos. I walked beach road many times and did not find anything appealing at the rate of spending that same time reviewing 100+ WG in one spot with less walking at a go-go bar.

Every monger has different preferences and priorities. What works for me is I try to find at least one top stunner bar girl and 1 freelancer, and as a tourist time is not on my side. That doesn’t work for everybody. I’ve accepted that I’m playing in league with East Asians (go-gos on WS) but I recognize that no one here controls that. I took a WG from Palace yesterday (#405) and I was the first American she had ever been with. She said she’s only been with Chinese and Koreans.

For those curious on what type of WG warrants me to go to WS go-gos, I've attached a picture of a girl I barfined from Palace (its a public picture they take when you're at a disco).

I went to dozens of go-gos on my last trip and looked at countless lineups and to me this is the result of that legwork. This is why I still go to Pattaya.

I said it again I don't care what you or anyone spend when I do go out because of my age and happy I don't have to get all work up over looks prices comfortable that I'm no sex machine reduced urge. If I want to spend the money I will do it and it won't be trying to complete with anyone. But right now I don't find the need to break my self boycott of many places.

As I noted seversl times I've been around all these guys like a fly on the wall heard first hand their plan which is what is happening now. I also have no problem naming the guy Brian Flowers. I like the GoGo, been to ALL of them I usually sit alone if I want to buy drinks I do in limitation or in abundance for girls I've know for long time. If I want their service have their number many I would give them the BF fee just so it doesn't go to the owners.

Last night out I checked out a few places particular Opium recommended by Banana the Man, came out ran into a old friend at IIvy, went in got her quota for old time sake. But I'm not doing some of these owners any favors.
